G. Wijnaldum To Newcastle

According to The Journal, Newcastle are observing the midfielder of PSV, Georgino Wijnaldum. He is one of the most important player of Under21 Holland.

Cannot see this happening for a number of reasons.

Firstly he is very highly rated by a number of teams. We would do well to convince him to sign for us.

Secondly he is predominantly a CM and do we really need any more central midfielders?

Wijnaldum is a fantastic young talent, but I've always thought he was more of a winger and attacking wide player rather than centre mid, so clearly not only has he got talent but he is versatile as well, I don't see why we would have any problem attracting him to our club

He's not a CM, he plays quite like Lucas at PSG. In attacking areas, wings or through the middle. He isn't box to box like Cabaye or anything, or more aptly Toure.

Or even more so Sissoko.
