Newcastle are ready to swoop for january bargains for Alfred Finnbogasson and Tom Ince, who could cost less than just 13m.

Believable8 Unbelievable17

Less then 13 million. GIVE YOUR HEAD A SHAKE WE HAVE NEVER SPENT MORE THEN 10 ON A PLAYER UNDER ASHLEY.

TIME WILL NOT CHANGE THIS CLUB, TIME WILL NOT CHANGE HIS WAYS.

We will likely lose one or two first team players and after that we will sign some of these players
Never crossed the line
nearly crossed the line
never came close
lets all blame Joe!

Agree7 Disagree7

You think The Man with the Padlocks on His Wallet is going to spend £13m?
Think you've been out in the sun too long mate.
Have you still not realised that he MAKES money out of this club not SPENDS for it.

Agree6 Disagree5

Bargains??
Tom Ince = over 10m
Finnbogason = over 5m

Agree3 Disagree7

Finnbogason was offered to us for just £5 million, Ince was going for £8 million last I saw but that would likely rise to about £10-£12 million I'd guess

Agree6 Disagree1

Ince is out of contract next summer that's why he's so cheap

Agree6 Disagree0

1st comment and some you others give yourselfs a bloody shake before telling others 2 it was 13mill for the pair might help to learn reading before you make out you know it all

Agree2 Disagree1

How much was Colo then?

Agree0 Disagree0

£8 million. and that was spread over 3 years.
It would have been 10 mil if we had won a trophy or not been relegated, but because we went down, the clause in his contract was cancelled in order that he stayed to get us back up.

Agree2 Disagree2

I hope finbogasson has a blinder and value increases so ashley and co are dealt a slap in the face, lifelong toon fan and let's face it from the top of the chain to bottom no one knows where the club and faults are because we're constantly fed a load of bull week in week out.

Gomis had apparently agreed a wage of £35k/3 years with Newcastle and at the last minute they asked him to reduce to £25K/5 years which he refused.
Mr Kinnear apparently responsible for double dealing as part of his remit.

Believable10 Unbelievable2

5 years is a long time he would be 33/34 and his value deceasing dramatically over time, so actually 5. 5M in wages over 3 years as opposed to 6. 5M over 5 years.

Agree4 Disagree2

But he is quoted as saying he will not drop from his current £60k a week wages. get you facts right.

Agree5 Disagree1

Move on lads! Good grieve

Agree2 Disagree3

He agreed his wage cut. Get your facts right. HE AGREED HIS WAGE WITH US!

But as a stupid man JFK is he tried to pull a fast one and tried to make Gomis take an even bigger wage cut.

Blame the board, for appointing JFK

THINGS NEED TO CHANGE!

Agree1 Disagree0

Apparently this 'make an offer then pull it away once agreed' technique is the way this club operates now. Underhand, unprofessional and despicable.
(And it will get round all players without a doubt).

Agree1 Disagree0

It would be mad to give him another long term contract at 60K per week at his age. His value is on the decline now. He is not worth that money and won't get it.
