Kuyt has got 1 more goal than Leon Best this season and people on here claim he's s**te even ED said he was I completely disagree also Best has played 9 games scored 6 and Kuyt has played 20+ and scored 7.

The thing with Van Wolfswinkel is he maybe prolific in Holland but Kuyt was prolific there fair enough Kuyt is good player very hard working player and does chip in with some goals but Newcastle need someone to score around 15 goals so paying 12 million just seems a big risk to me.
Same with Gameiro only proven in France.
What are you talking about tiote was only proven in holland and he has been brilliant as was ben arfa in france (shame about injury).
Yeah good point but Newcastle only payed 3.5m for Tiote and brought in Ben Arfa on loan that amazing buisness but paying 12m for them is a risk.
Ps. Tiote also showed he can play when he was at the World Cup. {Ed001's Note - if you check Kuyt's stats he does tend to weigh in with 15 goals a season, even though he has mainly played out wide.}
