after his spiteful tip off to the press about ba's release clause, strong rumour the jowly faced conman could be sent down at the end of the month for defrauding HMRC.

We hope

Strange how Harry tries to unsettle other teams yet was going mental when others were doing it about Modric.but you've got to blame the press for writing s**te just to sell papers

With newcastle in need of a centre back, winger and striker, the likely signings could be tomkins for 5-6million nathaniel clyne for around 2 million (if simpson doesn't sign new contract he will be sold to QPR for around 4-5mill). Then pardew has been sniffing around one of his old players in adem lallana, who is a great player but being young and english that = big money so it would take around 7 mill to get him. Then finally a striker, I think rhodes would be a big risk as he is not proven at anything other then league 1 and we need an instant prolific striker. Possible tranfers could be jelle vossen (scored agianst chelsea for genk) or castaignos from inter ( 18 year old, promising and wouldn't be a big sum of money)who is unhappy and would join ex team mate santon.

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Where have you been lately no chance of this happening.

Agree1 Disagree0

Football has gone mad if danny simpson is worth 4-5 million with 18 months left on his contract

Agree1 Disagree0

QPR might buy him at a decent price just for his relationship on the right with barton. just a thought. though im sure we would only let him go with a guaranteed signing of both a LB (Santon move to right) and a CB.

Agree1 Disagree0

QPR have Luke young and Bradley Orr as cover at RB. They aren't going to spend 5 million on another when they can't score goals and have lost their best player in cm for the season. Simpson will sign a new contract and stay. I would like to see clyne come in though to provide cover

Is this the same bradley orr who used to be on our books?

andy carrol at bingo in gateshead las night

Believable0 Unbelievable2

That lad will never amount to anything hanging around places like that!........oh you mean real bingo? i thought you meant the tombola bingo arena!

Agree0 Disagree1

Just cos he was in Gateshead doesnt mean anything. He's allowed to go and visit his home town you know. Just cos he goes somewhere doesnt mean he's transfering clubs.

Ive got to give it to "mad max"! the lad comes on here and has a pop or knocks peoples comments and leaves his name but theres a lot who dont! thats just being cowardly! If this buy out is a real thing (kind of sick of it already), isn't anybody worried that an 11th hour swoop in and take him will happen. Once again leaving us without time to replace our number one striker. I believe it is time to get in touch with Ba, have him sign a new contract and make some sort of statement to the fans.

Believable0 Unbelievable3

Not really worried cos like some others i just feel the get out clause will be like had at west ham and be a relegation clause but money talks and if a big bid was to come in for him then that could be a bit too tempting for MA! not sure but if say 3 or 4 clubs come in and all offered 10 million then wouldnt that possibly push up the fee paid so nufc grant the acces to the player? not sure myself tho! still think he is being truthfull when he says he is happy here....spenny mag

Agree0 Disagree1

If there is a release clause, then there wont be a bidding war. Once the clause has been met, then that club can talk to the player as can any other clubs. Thenonly bidding war that will go on is with wages.

Agree0 Disagree0

Like i said i wasnt sure if this is how it would go or not!....spenny mag

I think Harry is trying to unsettle our team because he knows we are challenging his team to that 4th place haha

Believable2 Unbelievable4

Karen brady started this all off in her sun column a week gone saturday! mentioned BA had a get out clause at west ahm and questioned his loyalty to nufc and suggested he had a clause in his contract! hasnt been confirmed by anyone but if this turns out to be the case and i owned nufc i would report HR and KB to the FA for revealing players contract details and openly tapping up players! i agree with this post cos its exactly what harry would do to unsettle the player! .....spenny mag

Agree2 Disagree0

Challenging for 4th, haha no wonder we call you lot deluded, by may you will have egg on your faces and be twisting on at your cockney mafia and agent ashleys puppet pardwho

Agree1 Disagree0

Truth is a lot of teams running scared now ,they know we have good up and coming players and the more we add/bring through the ranks the bigger threat we are. Truth is a lot of clubs are buying success where as we have done well on nowt in comparrison and they don't like it(are you listening scum) .

Agree1 Disagree0

It was a joke hence the HAHA at the end of the sentence.

Agree0 Disagree0

The worrying thing is as soon as these young players turn good well sell them

Agree0 Disagree0

You're not buying success..... How many of your first team squad came through your academy? You may not be spending fortunes buying players but buying you must certainly are.

Agree0 Disagree0

I can name at least 6 squad players who came through our ranks! both ameobis, krul, s.taylor, ferguson and vuckic! hows that?

Agree0 Disagree0

Ummmm i believe Ba was FREE! sammy is academy, so is Vuckic, both class.

Agree0 Disagree0

We also got Remie streete coming through who looks fab.

Agree0 Disagree0

Squad players-exactly. How many of them have actually started this season or would be first choice/ have contributed in anyway to your current league position?

Ed, apparently buy out clauses aren't legal in the UK? I can't find any examples of British players being bought from a buy out clause, but in Europe they are legal and supposedly compulsory in Spain? (Giroud apparently has an 8million buy out clause...) Please correct me if I'm wrong. {Ed001's Note - Liverpool bought Ziege from Boro for a buyout clause, but they have never been contested in court, so it is possible that they could be blocked. In Spain, they are certainly legally binding, hence why they are usually set at a ridiculous level.}

Believable2 Unbelievable0

In spain are they still registered with the league? thats how teams used to find out what the clause was so it ended up pushing the fees up by constant leaks from the people who run the league....spenny mag

Agree0 Disagree0

Surely a contract signed by both parties is legally binding no matter what the context

Agree0 Disagree2

Even in business there is clauses in contracts to get out of deals early but these are usually financially motivated like a company not being able to pay theri bills and credit levels or completeing an oreder on time!

Question: Why would Harry mention the clause if he didn't want him?
It would only serve to alert those around them and strengthen a team they are competing against. If he does want him, again, why talk about a clause, he's giving other teams the chance to get him.

To me, it makes no sense. He should've kept it quiet either way. Would be interesting to see the small print that triggers this clause, if it even exists.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Just to add further, cabaye had a clause, we stayed quiet and activated it and got the deal done before anyone lese even got whiff of it.

Agree3 Disagree0

Rednapp just wants to cause unrest in any other team he is first to moan if anyone goes after his players, hes is just a trouble monger and certainly not fit to be in charge of England

Agree4 Disagree0

He's scared of us lol

Plea to Mike Ashley: Please invest in potential youngsters, hopefully make it to Europe, reap the reward as television rights. . . Potential win-win situation for everybody

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Wish this would happen, but it's unlikely. However 'supposedly' Branson is looking to buy Ashley Out. any news ed? {Ed001's Note - nothing.}
