With Guthrie currently playing extremely well, I think we should exploit his creative ability along with Cabaye and play in a 4-1-2-1-2 formation like this :

Tiote
Cabaye-Guthrie
Hatem Ben Arfa
Ba-Cisse
This would make the most of Ben Arfa's ability too, and also allows either Cabaye or Guthrie to come forward, with the other being slightly deeper, and if in doubt, Tiote is still behind them. Playing this way will mean there is more pressure on our fullbacks however, but with three in the midfield, I think we can get around this.

442 got us where we are, why change it now? Ben Arfa needs to fit us not the other way round. Its my view that Ben Arfa needs more time to understand how to play in the prem league as his decision making I.E. when to run with the ball and when to pass is not working at the moment.
Would put to much pressure on the full backs and would start shipping goals if you watch the way we play at times owa wingers drop back into a wing back postion which allows us to have plenty men behide the ball and allows you to break losing the winger would make owa play to direct and predictable where wingers with there pace would pull players out of place making space while also adding to protecting and helping the fullbacks

And I admit, jonas is a loss, but a lot of the stuff he does is defensive and his crossing isnt too great, neither is obertan. cabaye, guthrie and tiote are pretty much interchangable really, although i agree that pardy probs wont go this attacking. I do think we could pull it off though
