One or 2 people sticking up for the owner and manager
who run the sideshow

So this calendar year we have spent a net of £3M - and our estimates for Newcastle's last financial year to the end of the June are that we could make around £135M in revenue and over £50M in profits - so Newcastle United have money to spend in their own right and a helping hand from
this miser owner we have could elevate the team especially
with the new signings & a Qulity CB Striker and
Cabaye replacement to a Top. 6 challenging
position, if not I fear another fight to ale the top 10

The club owes Ashley 130m so I would asume that any profit we make would go to paying off the club debts.
Ashley wants his money back Vida. Not taking sides, just pragmatic that if the club owes ashley that amount of money he won't be splashing the cash.

Where did 65m+ go Desree READ up about it before coming out with this
The loan Ashley has suits him
You have no idea because you have not seen the accounts
Geez we are a Premiership side If Everton can sornd 28m on a striker
then so can we

130m - 65m = 65m

that is still a fair chunk of change, I am sure MA cares more about 65m than buying a defender and a striker.

I'm not sure why we allow ourselves to argue amongst each other when

a) MA clearly does not GAF as long as the club makes money

b) MA will continue to sell our players as soon as an acceptable bid comes in

c) MA has such disdain for the fans that he hires JFK twice.

I am amazed to see the business we have done, I am far from happy with the situation.

We have to take into account that we do not know Ashley's intentions (officially). I think we all know he'll walk if he was given a return on his investment.
in my opinion, what has happened this summer was necessary to keep the club competitive in the PL. I don't expect major investment in the next 2-3 windows.
also in my opinion, Ashley wants out, so he will not overspend, the clubs books need to look healthy to make it look attractive to prospective purchasers.
As Desree has previously correctly mentioned, the money isn't going directly into Ashley's pocket, Ashley has given the club a £130m loan to keep it in business, and I agree with Desree that the only way we can really expect to get Ashley out of our club is if he does start pocketing the money - reducing the loan - thus making it more attractive to prospective buyers.

Until accounts are seen at the end of each finacial year this will always be a grey area and money can be moved around to satisfy Ashley
None the less the point is Yes mist if us agree good players have been signed on the back of GC threatening to walk.

And the frustration for most fans is that with a CB and Striker of Quality and the icing on the cake a Cabaye replacement
this team really can compete for a top 6 pkace rather than midtable.

Think of mike ashley like a property landlord. Right now he is giving the place a lick of paint and a cosmetic makeover to improve the asking price! I am sure he would love to get rid of the club. There must be interested buyers out there?

Desree think you could be right

After the success of the recent world cup there will not be a better time to sell than now, especially as the usa is finally starting to take off.
Man city and chelsea have shown that you can become a highly marketable club without a great history. so if anyone out there has a few kabillion lying around and wants to play fantasy football for real can you please give MA a call, he'll even chuck in a 100 quid sports direct gift card as part of the deal.
