Don't get me wrong here, i've stuck behind Pardew for a long time, I know that he will be given until december to see if he can get us into the top 10 with playing some good football. But i'm starting to lose faith in him, every single pre season game he's persisted playing the 4231 formation, he seems to never want to drop gutierrez, so I don't know how remy's going to fit in, Drop Ben Arfa? no. Drop Cisse? No. Drop Cabaye/Sissoko? No. Drop jonas? no.

You can't play hoofball or direct passing with the 4231, its not suited for it. Swansea, Chelsea, Man city, are clubs that have truely mastered the 4231, and they play some great football. During 11/12 we did play some good football, but for some reason, pardew only started persisting on playing the same formation in 12/13.

I'm hoping that if we play the 4231 against city, it won't be the tactic of hoofball and I hope marveaux starts ahead of jonas, because he deserves to. Marveaux didn't even play as many times as jonas, but he still got more assists and more goals! Why Pardew doesn't see this I don't know, has he signed a contract that says you must play jonas in the starting 11 whenever he's available? I don't know.

All I wish for, is an ambitious rich owner, who replaces Pardew with someone like Michael Laudrup who can bring an exciting passing philosophy

Two managers that would have been excellent for our squad and especially our flair players were Benitez and Martinez who both moved clubs in the summer. Now if we had an ambitious owner, we maybe could have moved for them. BUT our present manager will bow down to Ashley, yes sir, no sir, and not ask for any decent money for players. If our club is to move forward, and with a couple of quality additions to our squad we would, our owner needs to sell up and take his muppets with him.

Because u play hoofball that's why

That's a fair assessment one I am sure many would agree with. Jonas must be his love child as I can t see how/why he gets a game otherwise.

Who needs any strikers when we have the pre season goal machine of shola ameobi. No more seriously strongly linked with many players most of them saying I would like to join but the man in charge of transfers has chased players that other clubs will out bid us for
