Alan Brazil. Who works for talksport. I think that says a great deal about the credibility of his info.

If this is a genuine twitter account, then it's probably true. Mr Brazil for many months would tell listeners that Derek Lambias is one of his mates! and regularly tried to paint a positive picture of Ashley and Lambias due to inside info.

Ashley in talks with Green about buying onto Rangers. FFS Ashley just concentrate on spending the money and time on getting in the players NUFC need instead of messing about with in a pub league.

So if Ashley were to invest in Rangers for 2m, and then made a profit of 20m, which he then invested into NUFC you would be complaining? What exactly do you want him to do, he is a business man running his business, NUFC is just a small part of his business, a part that is actually costing money rather than making him anything. If it wasn't for Ashley, we would probably be in the same situation as Rangers, you choose.

You miss the point entirely. It is not to have or not have Ashley, it is to have him focused on the club he already owns. It is common knowledge he has the final say on transfer dealings so my point is that he should be focused on getting the players we need "across the line" during the ever shortening transfer window before turning his attentions elsewhere. Once that is done he can do what he wants as far as I am concerned.

No you have missed the point. So you think that Ashley runs his business as though he is self employed, doing every piece of business himself? Give yourself a shake.
Do you honestly think that he would put his £250m+ investment in NUFC into danger, by purchasing a small commercial stake (£2m) in a merchandising deal. Budgets, targets, etc for this window have already been agreed it's up to the chief exec and the staff at NUFC to agree deals, Ashley just has the final yes or no as it is his money. I really can't understand why people are getting upset about this, or maybe it's just me being able to see further than the end of my nose.
