I know Freddie Shepherd almost bust the club in his last ownership BUT do you not think maybe he has learned from his mistakes? He bowed too easily to fan pressure because he IS a fan himself, and spent money the club could ill afford at the time. With new associates, and investment, maybe a takeover from him and new associates would be a good thing. let's face it, Ashley has put club on an even keel and is now reaping money from the club as has been shown by the vast amounts he has recieved from Sky, transfer sales and of course all the spin offs involved with the name of Newcastle United. If Shepherd involved profesional help from people involved in the game I reckon he could lift the doom and gloom from our club without going down the same way as he ran it last time. Only a thought.

It would be nice if shepherd got some new associates and investments, and took the club back over, but it will never happen. He reminded me a bit of bill kenwright at everton.
