I was criticised for saying that I'd rather be in Sunderland position, now look at them, they are 14th officially safe, and could potentially finish just three places below us. They are playing some great football as much as I hate to say it, and look like they will be a real force if they bring in some quality and keep borini and ki. This is what happens when you have a top young modern manager, he can get the best out of his squad, can motivate the players and now they showing real fight and passion. And they managed to do this:
Man city 2-2 Sunderland
Chelsea 1-2 Sunderland
Sunderland 4-0 Cardiff (even they beat them by more goals)
Man United 0-1 Sunderland
Sunderland 2-0 West Brom
We are now a step behind them, and will only catch up if we get a top young European manager, who plays good football and is a winner.
