Bony is becoming good sad we couldn't beat Swansea to getting him but IN CARR WE TRUST

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I just watched Bony against Malmo.

What is all the fuss about? He looked useless to me, he has no ball control with his feet, he cannot dribble, has no skill, no pace and his positional sense is either down to him being a liability or the fact he is too lazy to get in good positions.

I am glad we did not sign him.

Agree0 Disagree0

We all trust Carr, but where is he when we need him? Surely he can't have been watching Remy or Bent recently, so who has he recommended to Joking Ear?

Sunderland are amazing. A massive club, a sleeping giant,

I am in love with Sunderland Association Football Club.

So excited for a great season to come.

We are great, we are by far the best team Newcastle and the world has ever seen.

6 league titles we have its great we also have the northeast biggest attendance record too over 75k smashing I say. Were the bank of England club, the team of all talents, the record holders for biggest attendance for a reserve match.

The Roker Roar has awoken, Paolo revolution has begun.

The rubbish players have and are being sold, replaced with quality with more to come.

Its just a shame we are in Newcastle uniteds shadow. Newcastle are the worlds greatest, with over a hundred trophies won and current holders of the champions league, we respect you geordies haha.

Newcastle have the worlds biggest fanbase the most special unique club and fans.

Anyway outside of the geordie bubble good luck with your fight against relegation lads cheerio.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Another SMB, sunderland no way a sleeping giant! we've actually won more major trophies than sunderland. no way you are a massive club you are smaller than the likes of QPR west ham swansea cardiff fulham. di canio is an inexperienced manager and will take you into another relegation battle. Remy is a better signing than all of yours and is a better player than any sunderland player as is most of our players. and also let me correct you, the rubbish players have are being sold, replaced with rubbish with more rubbish to come. we will be challenging top 10, good luck with your relegation battle.

Agree0 Disagree0

Obv a geordie tryin to cause s***. nice try tho, not much to talk about on here so u might aswel put sumit up

Agree0 Disagree0

What you on

Agree0 Disagree0

2nd post are u that stupid u can't see its your fans wrote that for a rection?no true safc fan would write that much drivel! stop biting and use ya comon sense

Agree0 Disagree0

I can't tell if this is a joke or not. I hope for whoever wrote it's sake it is.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree0 Disagree0

First off I'm not getting into an argument my clubs bigger than yours, Newcastle are bigger globally than Sunderland JUST.

But to be pathetic and say qpr, Swansea, Cardiff etc are bigger than sunderland is just silly.

Sunderland are England's 6th most successful club. FACT. sunderland have the better major trophies 6 league titles over newcastle.

How are fulham, qpr, Swansea, Cardiff, west am, bigger than sunderland?Sunderland have a better history, more trophies, bigger fan base, better stadium, training ground than all of them clubs.

England's biggest clubs in order are.
Man utd, Chelsea because of recent history and money, man city same as Chelsea, arsenal, Liverpool, spurs, Ever ton and newcastle tied, villa sun derland tied maybe villa just. That's an honest view. Obviously you have Leeds, sheff wed, forest but they are in the championship and I think villa and sunderland are bigger than them anyway.

One league title by the way is worth 5 fa cups so sunderland have won better trophies than newcastle. But Newcastle have won more.

But I hate this boring argument my clubs bigger than your club, because why does it matter, you should just support your local club whatever. Swansea and wigan are little clubs but won a trophy last season.

Newcastle are obsessed with being seen as a big club, I just don't know why. They don't have to be big for you to be proud. Big or small you can still be a great club a passionate club.

Agree0 Disagree0

7th post we're not obsessed with being seen as a big club its just some mackems don't see it. But in the premier league newcastle are 8th in all time standings and sunderland are 17th.

Agree0 Disagree0

Newcastle are not JUST bigger they are way bigger mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

70000 biggest attendence almost 80 year ago yet yous struggle to fill your stadium weak in and weak out ahah and wats the highest in the table Sunderland have got in recent years.

Agree0 Disagree0

History didn't start with the premier league though (well it did newcastle 1992 keegan) so your newcastle 8th sunderland 17th is pointless. Sunderland are England's 6th most successful club OVERALL.

As for struggling to fill the stadium its very misleading. Sunderland average over 40k its not a small crowd is it?. Sunderland's record home attendance is 75, 118. Newcastle's record home attendance is 68, 386.

Im not disagreeing Newcastle are at present the bigger club. I am stating Sunderland are no way a small club, smaller than the above teams suggested.

Historically Sunderland are a huge club and since the 1950s, 60s have under performed so in theory they are a sleeping giant as are Newcastle. Both clubs have potencial.

Agree0 Disagree0

If your so "big" and rich where is your money?u got a loan and u can't even afford bents 5 mill, that's not a big club and rich, he's got 60 m in his pocket so he's rich ya clubs not, ya SKINT, can't even compete with Cardiff that's how "big" u are!football's joke that's all u lot are, small club with FICKLE deluded fans that deserve everything u get

Agree0 Disagree0

Who can't afford Bent? You are the most deluded fans in the game if you think that. If Ashley wanted to shell out £5 million on a journeyman he could. He chooses not to which is a huge difference.

Agree0 Disagree0

How can we not afford bent? We paid 9m for cisse, if there's any fickle and deluded fans its SMBs

Agree0 Disagree0

What a load of garbage is talked on this thread. So newcastle are more successful than Sunderland in the Premier league? Rangers are more successful than Celtic in the SPL. Historically before Premier leagues they are virtually neck and neck. Do you get my point

Agree0 Disagree0

Calm down children all these above posts are very childish we all now 5under1and have and always be in ower shadow toon army

Agree0 Disagree0

Yawn!

Agree0 Disagree0

Sunderland are in Newcastles shadow yeah right. How do you work that out? Are you winning trophies year after year or even competing for them. You get bigger crowds yes but you get bigger crowds than Liverpool, spurs, man city, Chelsea so are they in your shadow too?.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sunderland are only in the shadow of fat Mike.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sunderland are in our shadow because every football fan knows we are the bigger club at the moment

Agree0 Disagree0

Surprise surprise Newcastle fans obsessed with being seen as the bigger club yawn. Every football fans knows were the bigger club yapyapyap blahblahblah. So what if your are it doesn't make you a BETTER club.

Sports direct news saying we're readying a bid for Sinclair, also we're being linked with Brazilian youngster Victor Andrade who Santos are struggling to agree a long term deal with at 16 he's played 19 times with 3 goals for Santos and is being called the next Neymar already. {Ed002's Note - I would not hold your breath about Andrade.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Wheres andrade rumour from?

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought EU clubs couldn't sign players from SA under 18? that would mean the player stays at Santos till he is 18.

Agree0 Disagree0

Newcastle won't even know who he is. Don't look at South Americans. Only buy from Europe and pay over the odds for average players (Gomis).

Agree0 Disagree0

Over the odds for average players you say? Remind how much you paid for can't hit a barn door (Altidore) again?

Pardew gave an interview recently saying, although its not a problem we don't have many English/British players in our squad he would like to bring a few in.
I have just found out that Steven Caulker just moved to Cardiff for £8 mil. Why on earth weren't we after a player of that age and quality for such a low price, especially due to the inflation of British players. Would've completed our centre half partnerships perfectly, really disappointed with the lack of ambition being shown by the club this summer. It's all been about Gomis, Remy and Bent so far only bringing one of them in. Last year we were talking about how thin our squad was, and whether we are in Europe or not it was true, so why have we let more go than we have brought in so far this summer, with a real lack of targets/rumours being flung around.

Just read on the Chronicle website that the Gomis deal was put in trouble by an "illegal" show of interest by Marseille.
Beginning to think that it's not worth completing this deal if his agents didn't have the morals to tell them to go through official channels to enquire for Gomis. Do we need to really be dealing with clowns like that?

Feel sorry for Gomis as he's apparently raring to go for us. Sorry state when agents are more interested in their own take instead of the wishes of their clients.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Money talks weather its a player or an agent. Its the ugly part of the game.

Agree0 Disagree0

If he really wanted to come he'd sort the agents out, they do work for him after all

Agree0 Disagree0

In other words he don't want to join because a bigger club has shown interest, so obviously ain't raring to go for u is he

Agree0 Disagree0

Well he is because he tweeted he's started learning english already

Blanc had said to the press about how he admires cabaye and hopes he gets a big move. He will join PSG for 25 million which will fund three Newcastle transfers, 10 million for McCarthy, 8 million for will Hughes, and 6 million for Scott Sinclair.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No chance of this happening your purely making this up. JK said it will one more striker and 1 other for another part of the team. That's it. Will Cabeye go? Blanc is trying to unsettle him with his comments.

Agree0 Disagree0

No he won't leave, blanc's getting on my nerves

Agree0 Disagree0

He actually said he hoped he would move to a big club! Rofl

Agree0 Disagree0

He's trying to unsettle him and he's being disrespectful towards us.

Agree0 Disagree0

We'll never get 25 mill for him. He is not that good. 18 tops!

Agree0 Disagree0

Last post that's the whole point he's not worth 25m but that's are asking price as we don't want to sell him

Agree0 Disagree0

I think we need to target at least a top 10 finish realistically, and we should really have a go at winning a cup. In order to do this, I think we need to think like a small club. Put out a strong team, even against lower league clubs, maybe in the early rounds start a few youths but in the later stages we really do need to put out stronger teams.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

08 Aug 2013 12:40:23
Not so much a rumour, but with Gomis deal looking undecided, if we pull out perhaps an enquiry for Lacina Traore? hearing that Anzhi want to sell there foreign players he was brought for 15m so may sell for less?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Great shout, an absolute powerhouse with pace and a good target man

I see Arsenal are now in for Omar Abdulrahman.

I don't see why we are not in for him. Skillful, exciting and young. Just the sort of player that makes you want to go and watch the matches.

He looks creative and scores a few as well. Okay he hasn't played in a very high standard league but we should be taking the risk on players such as this. We have got to be looking at these guys and making a move BEFORE the bigger/richer clubs start making offers.

Kinear and Carr really need to get together and be a lot quicker off the mark or we will never get good players or the price Ashley is willing to pay.

We really should have a scouting system set up in South America as 90% of the best players come from there yet we are not even making the effort to take a look. Just look at Bernard of Brazil, unheard of a year or so ago but is now valued at about £20mil.

Sort it out guys. We are getting left further and further behind every season. Is nothing much making me want to go and watch matches this season other than this is the club I love and will always support but its getting harder and harder to keep your chin up.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

100% agree mate, Colombia, Argentina, brazil are all countries we should be scouting from. Great flair and technique about them

Agree0 Disagree0

Looks like yous are starting to flap now haha sgb carnt wait till the first monday night game live, city 6 mags 0 I reckon.

Agree0 Disagree0

Arsenal or u jokers hmmm bit of a no brainer, u don't go anywhere but France so Carr and pardew can buy there duty free fags and wine. is there nowt u don't 100% agree with? Jtoon Ashley and the puppets number 1 fan

Agree0 Disagree0

In an ideal world this would be great, but at present our scouting system doesn't extend beyond destinations the Eurostar train travels to.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ashley always says he will sell club he will never sell as he is making far too much out of club easy money sell players money off premier put nothing in not a bad business laughing at the toon supporters get out of club you have no interest in Mr Ashley

Agree0 Disagree0

SMB you're wrong there, we've bought Anita, bigirimana, good, Jonas, Coloccini, Tiote, cisse, santon etc. from non French clubs. Check your facts before you state them.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm only a positive fan, more positive then any of the SMBs who wanted O'Neills head for ages but then you loved him when you beat city 1-0. And I think our squads good enough to get a draw at city if we play well. Anyway Fulham, like Newcastle, have strengthened in quality over quantity haven't they? Whereas Sunderland is quantity. Fulham have got a good team. Man city 2-1 Newcastle, Sunderland 0-2 Fulham

Agree0 Disagree0

Who is flapping SMB? We have a stronger squad from last season. If anyone should be worrying should be you whole new team of nobodies.

Agree0 Disagree0

Whats the point of looking at skillful south americans? Once Pardew and his coaching staff get a hold of them, they go backwards. What we need is a new modern up to date coaching team to get the best out of our flair players ie Cabaye, Marvaux, HBA. Until that is sorted, we are like a rudderless ship.
