Joey Barton, Asprilla, Shearer and Di Canio all featuring in steve harper's testimonial. thank you Steve for your 20 years of service to Newcastle United. Legend.

Imagine if Di Canio scores

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe you should start playing Di Canio for Sunderland. I am not even joking when I say this, but I bet he is still better than most of your players.

Agree0 Disagree0

Dicanio is a legend for even taking part. If you do boo him etc it should be part of joking banter etc, if you boo him for real your pathetic.

Saying that I would love pardew to play at the sol lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think it will be tongue in cheek booing, panto villian!

Lets all continue to go to the games, buy from the club shop, buy beer, pies, hot dogs, burgers and match programmes in the stadium and keep filling Mr. Trashleys pockets while he tries to flog our best players off. WAKE UP! Hit him where he hurts, in his pockets. don't buy anything and if possible, snub the Leeds match. YES Gary Speed played for both clubs, but tributes have already been made to the man and i'm sure, if he was watching, he would back our stance against this non-footballing money orientated businessman.

Any updates on the possibility of a boycott of the Leeds game? I think it needs to happen because we need to show Ashley that he has to stop treating the club as another source of profit and either run the club properly or sell up a. s. a. f. p.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

As far as I am aware fans groups are still talking about doing it and the PL game with Liverpool which is televised also.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah right one of biggest matches going to be boycotted, er don't think so, don't think it would help players either,

Agree0 Disagree0

The players may support the action. Not publicly though.

The fans have no gripe with the players, it is the regime.

I am still gutted we lost Joey Barton for speaking the truth. One of the most committed players to ever wear our shirt; I have never seen a player enjoy our goals so much either.

Agree0 Disagree0

Boycotting the leeds game given the links with Gary Speed seems a tad rash. and the liverpool game, well that just won't happen. don't get me wrong I think something needs to be done but to be fair I just don't see the point. we have what we have and it won't change until he decides to sell up. we are all gutted but we are also not stupid enough to think anything we do will have an affect on ashley at all. just unsettle the players. we can argue that not going to games will hit his pocket and it will. but it could also suck what bit of life is left in the club right out. back the team and hope for a sale. that's about all we have right now.

Where any of you who commented even at any of the meetings? I am only passing on what was suggested/discussed. Don't shoot the messenger. By not going to the games it will hit Ashley where it hurts the most his pocket, his only concern. The players aren't stupid and fully understand what is going on. Even Titoe came out and said as much, strange he hasn't been involved since.

Agree0 Disagree0

Boycott the games by all means, but for heavens sake spell it correctly on the banners, last time we looked absolutely stupid on the sports channels, no wonder they think we are daft. Mark-m.

Keep the team happy? Sorry but keeping this CLUB going in the right direction is the way forward and much more important. If top international players (which is what you all say they are on here) cannot perform because there aren't enough in the crowd to watch them they aren't top players at all. Apart from that, most of them will be gone in the next two to three seasons. They have no loyalty or long term service to this club as we fans do.
Stop making excuses to go to the matches by giving any kind of backing to Ashley. The man must go - NOW!
