I thought we played much better football from 20 mins to cleverly's goal. Pardew has got a good passing philosophy now and i think we can use that against sunderland. But we got no luck at all the ref was sh*t. Jonas played his best game yet. Overall it was a good performance but it was bad defending from the corner.

Very poor today. Harper was very poor. It just shows how thin our squad is. Ashley and crew were laughing when we were 3-0 down. We will finish mid table if we are lucky. Bobby
Course they were laughing - it means they'll be heading for mid table (or lower) oblivion.
No more hassle with Europe, no need to spend any money in the transfer window. Just sit back, relax and let the world see his brand all over our stadium - for nowt.

another great start, another great tactical mishap by pards.
is it plausible he will last his 8 year contract if he can't get such a talented pool of players to resemble a football team? Sure, we've got some injuries and don't have a lot of depth (which could have been avoided), but it seems he habitually does the opposite of what fans are thinking with reguards to line-ups, formations, and substitutions.

Once again started the game to slow and was punished. We can't afford to do it against any team in the league. Came back into it but didn't have the finish although it was a goal! Just hope we pull it together for the next game against the Mackems.

If Virgin were paying 10m a season for shirt sponsorship then surely the reports of Wonga paying 8m per season for shirt AND stadium rights is trash paper talk? If its true and we will have Wonga on the shirts playi ng at Wonga arena then im afraid Ashley has took one step too much. Please Please let me bump into him and Lamearse at an airport or holiday resort sometime, when i was finished i would have a statue alongside Jackie Milburn and be lauded by the geordie nation, never mind the fact the Toon would have new owners.
