NUFC already stated they want to get in some players with EPL experience. I forsee some short term deals for experience players that have been released from their clubs. They have to run the rule over:

Di Santo, Figouroa, Arshavin (1 year deal), Malouda (1 year deal) & maybe squillaci as cover at CB

Also, Lescott from City as he has a vast amount of experience & would soften the loss of Coloccini should he go.

I wouldn't mind arsharvin actually. He's a brilliant player when on form but thing is he's terribly out of form. the rest din't really want.

I would love Arshavin.

But he will want more than a 1 year contract.

He is not exactly an oldie, he may consider a contract in the 2 year region, but I suspect he would be pushing for a 3 year at this stage.

I am certain Arshavin will be great for whoever he signs for.

Not one of them is an improvement on what we already have.

If I were Padrew I would sign Franco DiSanto from Wigan, Just been released due to contract expired.

Much better second choice then Shola.

Just seen on SWOL.com (or. co. uk) that Sessegnon has been linked with us? Apparently Di Canio is burning bridges left, right & centre.

I'd love to have him!

Only player in newcastles squad as good as Sessegnon is Ben arfa, Sessegnon tore newcastle apart in the derby and when he is in the mood he is unstoppable.

Only Ben Arfa is of equal quality and i'm a geordie mate. i'm a newcastle fan to the core but if you cannot see that Sessegnon is quality stop watching football.

I was at the derby unfortunately and sessegnon outclassed our whole team.

And Sissoko totally outclassed Chelsea a team that is much better than ours.

One game doesn't make a player. Sess had a shocking season (hence why he isn't being constantly linked with a move away like he was last season).

Plus laugh all you want no-one will pay top money for someone that's 29+

Sessegnon is better than Sissoko END OF.

I'm hearing exciting things about 2 possible signings that may be relatively close to happening. One from Holland, and one from Spain. Both very good players, and will shut up a lot of fans with their negative comments. As far as I have been made aware, both are past the initial contact stage, with the one in Holland being further on in the process. I will post more on this when I am able to.

Why do you call the realistic fans negative. What is negative about what they say. I would say fans are rightfully worried about the state of affairs at the club and as supporters are entitled to an opinion. IF you don't like you know what you can do.

Maybe and relatively translate to I made this up and haven't been told anything. Is that negative enough for you? Unless you are Ashley, Pardew or Llambis or at least the club doctor you ain't been told jack.

Newcastle have made an enquiry into Dwight Gayle from Peterbrough. Fulham have already had a bid of 2.5m rejected, ed do you think it be likely for Newcastle to offer any more?
