Newcastle could have busy week in the transfer window with a replacement being lined up for debuchy. The right back will be dutch whether its van rhijn or janmaat who knows. Jenkinson and joel Campbell have been linked with us merely due to the fact that Wenger would prefer not to pat all cash for debuchy. (neither of these will go through)
The Zaha rumour will keep circulating this week but no fringe united players will be sold until they have been assessed by Van Gaal. So no transfers will be imminent.
The striker chat has been quiet since Lassoga rejected us (I don't rate him massively anyway). No players will sign this week, Micah Richards continues to be linked but whether it is as Mbiwa replacement or debuchy replacement. Knowing newcastle we will sell mbiwa and debuchy and get one replacement who can also play centre back. (richards or van rhijn).
The striker who we are interested in will likely be someone who we have had scouted previously in the last couple of years. Newcastle are known for scouting players extensively and signing them years after, this is primarily the reason Bony, L. De Jong, PEA and Hernandez have all been linked is because we have had previous interest.
If no players will be signed this week then it can hardly be called busy
It's Tuesday give it time
