I think next season could be a good one, if we sign a couple of 1st teamers and a couple of squad fillers, that coupled with harris vukic coming through. exciting times ahead, maybe!

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Next season? This one has been fantastic if you ask me! Exceeded all expectations, and it's not over yet

43 years maybe but we look like a team that is gonna win something sooner than later. Two or three signings in the summer and no first teamers too leave and silverware is a huge possibility. It's nice to be looking at how high we can finish rather than sitting mid table thinking how well we've done not too get relegated after agent Bruce got the sack.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

But Newcastle are a selling club having you been following them the last 40 years. Expect Ba Cisse and Tiote to move to bigger clubs in the summer they want trophies.

Agree1 Disagree4

Every club is a selling club for the right money.

Agree3 Disagree0

Don't know were we get this selling club tag. We sold dead wood players and bought better players. We are in such a strong financial position that we don't have to sell.

Agree2 Disagree0

But you lot think cisse is s**t lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Man U sold Ronaldo do that makes them a selling club no?

Agree0 Disagree0

Unless you have spoken to Ba, Cisse and Tiote how would you know what they want. We are on the up and challenging for a CL spot at best and worst Europa League. Cisse has just signed what's his rush to leave? Same with Tiote. Ba, I guess is up to him. Bitter Mackem.

Agree1 Disagree0

Tiote will not be leaving, he has already told the club he intends to see out his contract.
He loves life in Newcastle and wants to settle there.
Demba Ba is the most likely to PSG but will he pass a medical?
Arsenal and man Utd are interested in Cabaye and have been quoted £30m.
QPR interested in Simpson again!
Newcastle will struggle to move any players out as they don't want to leave.
Agent talk.

Agree1 Disagree0

Selling club for 40 years...mmmmm why did we nit sell shearer when a few bids came in then...why is tiote still here etc...could be worse our players could want to leave as we are sh*** bent wanted out, gyan players for a club football team to get away see going in summer and heskey coming in....smb

43 years without silver and the Geordies are getting excited cos they could finish 4th or 5th laughable.

Believable1 Unbelievable5

Haha bitter SMB, just cos we've got something still to play for...European Qualification. Dont be sad cos your season ended in March

Agree5 Disagree0

May I ask what team YOU support?

Agree1 Disagree0

Hows that laughable? do you expect us not to get excited? JEALOUS SMB always in our shadow

Agree4 Disagree0

Your lot have never finished that high in the premier league, and the last time you won owt was the 70's, 30 odd year ago, so you are just a jelous SMB.

Agree5 Disagree0

Man Utd fan actually..When are you gunna win something? Is this your achievement 5th place..Rolling over laughing.

Agree0 Disagree4

Would rather support our local team then support someone because they are successful. Typical glory seeking Man Utd Fan. Where abouts in London are you from?

Agree5 Disagree0

You know this Manc is from Ireland.

Agree3 Disagree2

Why would a Man U fan come on here?

Agree2 Disagree0

Sorry forgot to thank you for the 4 points, that's if you really are a Man U fan. Mostly likely a SMB.

Agree3 Disagree0

Why does it matter if you win something?

how many teams have won the prem league or other major trophies over the past 20 years?

If people only supported teams that won things there would be 5 or 6 supported teams.

Agree4 Disagree0

If Sunderland were joint 5th with 6 games to go we would never hear the end of it. Our wage bill is probably a quarter of what the teams above us are and we're still in with a chance of 4th spot which is a nassi e achievement.

Agree3 Disagree0

Come on! you never gonna finish 4th and to the poster who quite rightly stated we have won nothing since the 70's. think first. you have won nothing since the 60's

Agree1 Disagree0

But that trophy in the 60s was a micky mouse cup ye need to go back to 1955 for the last domestic trophy
