your NOT going to sign any decent players, but you could lose a few(big wage players).Due to MA, s wage cap, He has said the 35 mil you got for Caroll will be used for 2nd rate players and there wages over the length of there contracts.MA & AP to squander the rest of transfer kitty down at the local casino. How come is it when SAFC are linked with a player, all of a sudden nufc are linked also. To save Geordie money do you guys let SAFC find the players Try using your own scouts.

Believable0 Unbelievable2

We actually have a great scout in Graham Carr. How about you list the players were interested in that you's where interested in first?

Agree1 Disagree0

Like who? We looked at larrson in january and decided not to follow it up and media says we looked at gardiner but thats it Other than that who have you got we were after and who we looking at thet you lot are looking at? Zog? You have no chance and he wont come back to us either

Agree1 Disagree0

At last a realist

Agree0 Disagree0

Actually, the scout done the best to find out the most suit for us, , , even better than the players signed few years ago

Newcastle are on the verge of signing Emile Heskey. Alan Pardew has said he is a 20 goal a season striker who will keep them up. A bid of 5m has been lodged and accepted. That is the last of the Carroll money as Pardew is looking to bring in a couple more french school boys on free's to take Newcastle to the next level.

Believable1 Unbelievable5

Pull yourself together your embarressing Sunderland fans that actually have footballing knowledge.

Agree3 Disagree1

All this talk of us signing school boys yet abied the youngest of our signings and he is older than wickham The other french guys are all in their twenties so where does school boys come from? Come on wise up

wes brown on his way sunderland always get their man

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Sunderland r the only team who put in an offer. n i for one can understand why

Agree3 Disagree0

Sound like a mountie And you know what they used to say about mounties dont you? Brown not a bad player tho so not a bad deal but he is knocking on now so real value to him

Agree0 Disagree0

Glad u understand fact is hes an experienced prem player who has played in a top team for 15 years , he can provide cover in most positions across the defence and while not being as good as your classy signings ha he will be be a good signing he will link up wel with o"shea when he comes

Agree0 Disagree1

Im sure everton and bolton were after him aswell

Agree0 Disagree2

"hes an experienced prem player who has played in a top team"

By played you mean sat on the bench if he could make that.

Agree2 Disagree0

True Has Gr8 Banch Warming Experience (WelshToon)

Agree0 Disagree0

Jealous like? if you had O'shea and Brown you would cream in your pants, bit hard to get in the Man Utd team with Vidic and Ferdinand, yes man utd the team who were champions and were in the champs league final, if they were bad Ferguson would of got rid of them years ago

Agree0 Disagree0

Brown was there before vidic or ferdy and didnt make the first team that often Always flattered to deceive but oshea not a bad player and played a little more but just cos they both played at man utd dont make them great Look at some of the other players who left there what have they done since? Fergie knows what he is doing if were great players he wouldnt let them go

Agree0 Disagree0

Hate to admit it but Brown and O Shea are top notch signings for the mackems.. only reason Fergie is letting them go now is to free up wages for the likes of a Nasri or Schneider, and even if not, its only now that his back up defence is Rafael, Jones, Smalling and Fabio.. doesnt need to keep the two any more.. fact is their still very very good players for any side outside the top 6.. if Newcastles policy wasnt to bring in young talent i d say we would have gone for them.. fair play to the mackems, some good business so far, credit where its due

KRTOON

Agree0 Disagree0

If ssn is right sunderland might have got bargain of the season in brown for a deal in region of 1mill

Agree1 Disagree1

Brown and o shea cudnt get in th man u team all of their lives. and now that the have signed for the mackema they are good players. they only looked half decent at man u becuase th other playeers make them look good. wait until they are in th sunderlans side and hav to try and pass and move with th sunderland team. they wont know what to do as they have neva experienced playing them selves out of trouble without th help of the other man u players.

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks for the comments KRTOON nice to hear from a mag with a bit of perspective

Bad news for the scruffy lot down the road.....Ben Arfa has annonced he is 100% fit and in top shape 2nd game of the season you lot will experiance him in full flow and be destroyed

Believable4 Unbelievable2

He is not fit at all

Agree2 Disagree3

Check out his statement Says he is fit and back to full health and just needs match fitness and time on the pitch I didnt say he was match fit just fit to start training Whats the matter? Scared?

Agree0 Disagree0

Wont be risked till new year as club see him as there secret weapon to get out of relegation battle

Agree0 Disagree1

By the time we play you's he will be 110% it's not him you should worry bout though its big shola

Agree2 Disagree0

Don't get ya hopes about ben arfa he won't be the same after that injury

Agree1 Disagree1

Not worried But you guys want toworry about kepping your squad together(enrique, barton, collachini, tiote, ben hafa, ect)nolan was just the start of the exodus of big players

Agree0 Disagree0

Never really get over a broken leg. Always think twice before you go in for a challenge. Not going to be the same player.

Agree0 Disagree2

We definately don't need to worry because SMB's only threat came from Welbeck, Bent and Gyan and when the second game of the season comes around none will be playing so 3 easy points.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think you'll find many more players have left sunderland than newcastle as yous rely on loan deals that you don't follow up on or old players who soon will retire.

Agree0 Disagree0

Loan deals, we signed elmohamady, Muntari was poor, Ferguson won't sell Welbeck, Mensah was always injured, Onouha we are still after. check your statement 1st moron. bet your jealous that we splashing the cash, where is your 35m? oh yeah Pardew has spent most of it on 3-4 players, wages and agent fee's. big club anymore? no relegation battle next season for you

Agree0 Disagree0

Moron? You agreed that more had left you lot yet still call the lad a person Then say check your facts yet you havent even checked your own post for your contradiction Moron

Eidur Gudjohnsen
Johnathon Woodgate
Johnathon Spector
Matthew Upson
David Jones
Patrick Viera

Boys in Black and White

I know I'm living in dream land here and realistically it will never happen while fat mike is the owner but we are still frat away from signing the amount of players that we need. We need to hold onto the likes of Barton, it would be ludicrous if we let him go, and do everything we can to keep Enrique, colo and tiote to. I'm pleased with the new signings but we need more quality and goals bringing in. Aswell we need to add numbers as back up, otherwise we loose some key players and new signings like HBA, Barton, ba, tiote etc to injury or suspension and were back to square one
My team:
Gk - I'd play Forster but happy with krul to
Rb - need someone new, Simpson isn't up to it
Cb-need some1 to partner colo atleast preferably backup to
Lb- hold on to Jose and buy back up
Rw- need back up to Barton, no one if he is injured
Cm- tiote/gosling/cabaye/abeid - happy with that choice and then ben arfa in attacking role behind strikers
Lw- I'd play marvauex & get nzog in as jonas isn't up to it
St- need two more, ba is a great signing I think. But I think sturridge would be perfect for us in every aspect. New no. 9. Would be stupid not to go for him as we are netter than all the other clubs linked with him and then another one in to. Preferably not African as we would loose them and ba in jan

I know hardly any of this will happen but for me that is what we need to really compete and the thing is we all know we have the money to do it I'm not asking for world class signings just when there's a chance to get someone like sturridge go and get him ffs We have some great foundations and players already so let's build on that and by doing so it will ensure the best ones stay.

From what I've seen of fellow mags reaction to being linked with Shane Long has shocked me the lad is Quality and could easily play in the Premiership he is not going to cost £10 million as papers say but hope to see him in a Newcastle shirt next season but majority of our fans don't want or rate him.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

His name doesnt get you tingling but i agree he would be a good squad player and would get gaols in the premier but apparently 10 mill is his price and thats too high for him

Agree1 Disagree0

Apparently sunderland have had a 7mill bid turned down as they want 10mill to much

Agree0 Disagree1

Give them Lovenkrands as part of the deal or Ranger on 1 year loan with £5-6 million.

Agree0 Disagree0

Apparently we're offering best as part of it.

the erdinc deal is back on according to many sources. psg have accepted an offer and he has been given permission to speak to nufc. source is the psg twitter page. he however is keen on a move to turkey so deal might not happen

erdinc is the decider in this deal not the bid

Believable1 Unbelievable2

Erding will arrive on tyneside tonight On a flight from Paris at 1940 hrs you heard it here first, from my source i'm pretty sure it'll be correct if he agrees terms the press conference will take place on Friday

Agree3 Disagree2

Oh no he wont hes going to schalke

Agree0 Disagree1

Who does press confrences, s now a days..

Agree0 Disagree0

Northumbria police lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would his club accept a supposedly bid from newcastle of 7.5mill when reports in germany say stuttgart have offered 12mill

Agree0 Disagree1

Because the £12 million bid is bulls**t.

Agree0 Disagree0

His situation is the same as Gyans he says he not going anywhere and wants to stay yet still the rumours rumble Thats cos nothing is set in stone Thats for both players If the club accepts a bid its generally good bye

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Yeah he staying put til someone actually bids for him making enquiries isnt bidding and thats all anyone has done

I think Krul should be our number 1 next season. He got called up to the netherlands for friendlies against Brazil where he keeped a clean sheet and against uruguay.Forster should be our 2 choice after his great season at celtic keeping 24 clean sheets in 38 games but he needs to be loaned to someone like norwich or swansea to give hima taste of the prem. Finally Harper should be our 3 choice and when he retires he will be a goalkeeping coach at newcastle.Poor Soderberg (our 3 choice last year) will have to make do with the reserves but when Harper retires mabye he could be our 3 choice.

fair play i browse this site everyday most the time people talk s**te but u got some serious negative morbid people on here people say "we wont get erdinc" "we wont get nzogbia" just to mention why not? Nufc is a huge club with the best fans in the world yes we have a dodgy owner but i believe he doing whats best by the club and we signing some good players albeit some free but quaility nufc will do mo business i think we'll get erdinc and zog and will look bright come august. Why would we spend 35£ on one striker like benzama or gomez. We should buy someone like jones(Stoke) who would only cost around 10£.Save some for January if we're in trouble.Get rid of the likes of Xisco who has only scored 1 goal in 9 apperances.Ranger should be sold aswell and Lovenkrands. You could name a couple of players like Guthrie, Smith, Perch, Routledge.Best was alright but he is not good enough for the prem and some of his goals were complete flukesWilliamson isn't going to be a regular starter next season so he could go aswell

Boys in Black and White

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Ranger would fetch 1m if sold, send him out on loan to boro/leeds he scores lots of goals he becomes worth 10m like shane long, makes sense dont you think

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jul 2011 15:24:57
it is believed that joey barton will not sign a new contract even though captaincy could be offered to him. The only way he would accept would be if there was a significant increase in wages for barton. he wants to leave on a free next year and get a bigger signing on fee and sign for a bigger club

Believable1 Unbelievable1

06 Jul 2011 15:21:00
clubs in dire straights now the fringe players and young lads on a couple of hundred quid a week are to be sacked to curb wages as no one wants the likes of smith routledge ameobi and ranger whats going on at the toon

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Made up All the youth team and reserves that were kept on from last term are still there and will remain there unless an offer is made At least make something up of interest or can be half true

Only what the chronicle printed

It was officially released today that Ipswich is the most dangerous place in Britain, just last week Steve Bruce and Niall Quinn were savagely mugged for 8 million quid

Believable6 Unbelievable1

Try 12 cos thats what he is gonna end up costing them

Agree0 Disagree0

If he costs us 12 itll mean hes played for england and made appearances and scored goals for us so itll be worth it cos then we can sell him for 40 mill if he wants to leave

Agree1 Disagree1

Jealousy will get you nowhere sad geordies

Agree0 Disagree0

You just signed him yet are selling him already? No saying he will make it yes we sold carrol cos the offer was too high to turn down but he cost us nothing but you lot buy a lad and have him down as a 40 mill player and he hasnt even played yet You make me and all the other geordies laugh at your stupidity Feeder club from what you saying

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jul 2011 14:48:26
yous have rplaced carroll with a" freebie " spent the money off nolan on cabaye and got a couple of free frogs and now iambiarse and pardwho are more or less telling yous the money has gone when are yous going to wake up and smell the roses

Believable1 Unbelievable2

Yes and wheres is the money off benty aswell...probably ready to line fergies pockets so you can have 30 year old ne one wants or expensive unproven teenagers...oh sorry there was, nt much left off benty after paying harry, s sell on clause roughly 4 to 5 million...if you noticed you have only spent some of henderson money...get a grip smb

Agree0 Disagree0

Would you be so bothered if we bought ba for £10m? it's called good business getting his class for free, jealous smb

Agree0 Disagree0

Diference is with us the signings are still coming as for man united rejects its called bringing experience in to help the young players on we had the youngest average team in the premiership last season why is it when we buy players they are called " rejects " and when the mags buy players they are called " class " fact is we are getting experienced prem players while the mags are getting cheap foreign untried imports [ maybe the fat controoler has spent some of the carroll money on shops so yous can buy all your mag tops and give him even more of your money ] ha ha

Agree4 Disagree0

At least if you had paid 10 mill for ba yous would know where the money was going cashley , lambiarse and pardwho are taking yous for a ride and yous are too stupid to realise it

Agree5 Disagree0

"yous are too stupid".

You don't see the irony in that sentence? You don't have to write like you speak, fool.

Agree1 Disagree0

If you sign a free player does, nt he ask for signing on fee which is probably millions numpty they are not saying the money has gone they are saying they have spent some.....its like you, s have paid 8-12 million for wickam add his wages to that which is probably 50k a week that means its cost 10 million in wages over 5 years then thers the agents fee, s you pay thats what they mean smb

Agree1 Disagree0

Didnt see the funny side of that we r on here 2 have football banter not 4 lessons in etiquette if u want an english language lesson let me know or was that the best reply you cud cum up with when the goin gets tough the replies get facetious ha ha ha stupid

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah but how can you have banter with your literature? Come on use spell check

Agree0 Disagree0

Just let the mackems keep spending huge amounts of money on average players. Brown and Gibson look decent because they are playing with world class players against average prem teams. When you put them in an average team, which Sunderland are they will look very average.

Agree0 Disagree0

Abit jealous? yes. if you put them in a rubbish side like newcastle you would destroy their careers, thats why your best players go to save their careers, you ruined Michael Owens career

Agree0 Disagree0

You lot havent had a micheal owen Speak up when you have something to speak about and just using our own signings and player involvement as an excuse cos you dont have enough wit to make something up yourself

Agree0 Disagree0

Michael Owen ruined his own career and Jealous of what mackems throwing money at a primary school kid and signing Larsson who can only last around 50-60 minutes before gassing out i will admit the Gardener deal is a good one but other than him the other aren't good.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jul 2011 13:51:52
Based on comments made by AP and DL I can't see it happening but I would like us to show some ambition and sign two strikers first choice being Defoe and Sturridge, if not Sow.

I hope we are not going to resign Nzogbia I think we have a great midfield now but we need to score goals or it will be a tough season.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

06 Jul 2011 10:53:48
Id like to see u bring in these players:
Erdnic 7.5M or Shane Long 6M
N'Zoggbia 9M
Neil Taylor 1M
and Solomon Rondon 12M
and if Jose and Joey leave replacements for them

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Not going to happen Pardew has said most of the 35m has gone and he is looking for a couple of more young lads with potential, so the 7m and 6m and 9m bids will not be happening, Taylor might come for 1.5m but that would be about it

Agree1 Disagree1

We will sign at least 2 more players dont be surprised if 3 come in

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jul 2011 09:03:25
If Ma has said they wont be spending much then we need to go to Graham Carr and snatch a few bargains like Tiote

06 Jul 2011 08:00:04
Newcastle want Liam Ridgewell for £3.5mil because able centre back and left back so replace Enrique.

Believable2 Unbelievable4

He will cost more than 3.5m, bet birmingham want at least 7m and we don't have 7m left out of the Carroll money

sturridge has to be our no.9 no two ways about it

Believable7 Unbelievable2

There is another way about it seeing as it's been said were not interested.

Think he will stay at chelsea or head back to bolton as much as i would like to have him at NUFC
