Turkish press linking us with moussa sow.
I think newcastle are now unlikely to sign loic remy at the end of the summer.
I think were going to sign gomis, sow, luuk de jong and cabella this transfer window.

I admire you optimism Mo but not a chance are we going to sign those 4 players. Might 1 in we are lucky. Look at it through Ashley's eyes. That 4 extra wages he will have to pay add to the fact that there are 3 strikers in that list. We already have 3 strikers at the club making a grand total of 6 if we were to do those deals. Not going to happen my friend.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sow is a top striker, he was linked with us in 2011 along with gervinho in a double deal. He's getting to his peak though so I wouldn't pay over 7-10million

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Remy will try and move on, Cisse should be moved on and Shola thankyou for all you have done but time to go, so we have room for 3 strikers and we need them

I think all our fans are now waking up to the biggest problem at Newcastle United other than Mike Cashley. We have a very talented and exciting Premier League squad BUT a very negative and League one Coaching staff. Sorry but Carver and Stone need replaced before they coach all the ability out of our players at every level in the club,

The thing that really annoys me is that pardew just doesn't seem to realise this. mike phelan is available he is 10x better than carver.

We should not forget JFK was brought into Newcastle United in order to serve Ashley money and ensure that every last drop could be wrung out of any transfer dealings and that is why Llambias resigned.
All the criticism and speculation most of which are right should all be judged at the end of this month.

As we stand Newcastle United is an average club going nowhere and happy with mid-table each year.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Agreed, but this club needs a new beginning. Oh when will that day come when ashley finally sells up to an ambitious rich owner who actually cares.

Agree0 Disagree0

We the fans care that's the problem but Ashley does not and that is the main problem

Looks to me like we're at a crossroads. (a) We could potentially buy big and really push on for a breakthrough into a CL spot. Forget that, I think! Or, (b) we could sign one or two decent players, keep the muppets happy and possibly end up in a Europa place. Except that that's not desirable because it puts a strain on Prem resources. Or (c) Pardew could state openly that he intends to sign nobody and to start giving all kids on the brink of a first-team place their chance, even if results go to pot. IMO (b) is the worst possible scenario, but the most likely. Why not chuck the kids in, sink or swim? Man U won the title with kids.

I cannot believe that people on here are still talking about replacing Pardew he is going nowhere.
The man has done a terrific job in getting this team with its limited squad to 33 points before January.
I like most would like to see the top class manager at Newcastle United but that would entail a change of ownership as Ashley is happy with Pardew and the crap that comes out of his mouth defending every personic move Ashley makes.

Newcastle have stated they will not buy the defender in the January transfer window however they are linked with names for various other players and we should wait to see Who comes in and who goes out.
Speculation is great but that's all it is, Ashley knows we need 10 more points to be able to retain premiership status and that will determine what happens in the next three weeks.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I agree to some extent that Pardew has done a good job this season. However his tactical changes of baffle most. The squad is far from limited and a better manager would get more out of the current squad. We are short up front no question but we have as a good as squad as anyone outside the top 6. As for transfer in or out. I guess that nobody will come in unless somebody goes out.

His coaching setup is awful.

I keep saying, if there's someone who can replace pardew, its laudrup. And I know its very unlikely he would come and unlikely that ashley would go for him.

But Laudrup for me I think is the perfect manager for the newcastle job.

1. He will bring a new, exciting and attacking brand of football as our philosophy, something we've never seen since the great sir bobby robson and kevin keegan.

2. He's a winner, to win a major trophy in his first season in the PL is the sign of a top manager.

3. He has an excellent coaching and scouting setup, that will ont only let the senior players develop and play his way, but the youth players too. And think what him and his scouts AND graham carr could find together.

4. He knows how to setup against every team. No matter who swansea play, they still attack and try to dominate, prime examples of their 2-1 win against Manchester United and their 2-0 away win to swansea. with no disrespect to swansea, an average team, but he and his coaches have made them into excellent technical players and can get them to outplay and domiate the likes of Manchester United and arsenal.

Never going to happen but dream on

Supporting Newcastle It's like having a great girlfriend but have to have a w. k instead

Agree0 Disagree0

Art, I really don't know what it is that keeps me supporting newcastle, we seem to have a crisis year after year under ashley

Agree0 Disagree0

And I agree art, it will not happen, unless ashley and everyone leaves.
