could every one stop twisting about ba going every one was twisting about nolan and barton going even makems where saying we where doomed but whats barton or nolan done since leaving...and i think we have bought better in than what left any one agree...

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Yeah but you take away Ba's goals and you would have the worst goals scored in the league, why did he have a buy out clause in his contract I wonder? obvious coz your club is a stepping stone for him to go to a bigger club

Agree1 Disagree1

Fact is he is playing for us and scoring for us. U can't take is goals away, just another smb dreaming again!

Agree1 Disagree1

Stop being jealous cos your top scorer is larsson on all of 4 wow what strikers you have!!SMB

Agree1 Disagree1

Yes we have larsson on four and ba has about 15 but if ba is sold or his knees pack up where do you turn? we have players all over the park who are scoring so we arent relying on one player as you have to. by the way yous have scored 29 in league we have scored 27 again proof we not relying on one person like you. could go all wrong for you

Agree2 Disagree0

No ba=no goals simple maths coz who else will score? ben arfa on the grand total of 1 goal?

Agree1 Disagree0

Make that 2 Ben arfa goals! Guiterrez 2 goals. U smb's are all ifs buts n maybes. Look at the facts!

Jason Prior's trials at newcastle has gone well. .almost 100 goals in 2 and half seasons in a 5 tier below club is not bad. . .considering he uses standard size ball and goalposts but the question is does he have the quality? Ed any news? {Ed001's Note - all I know is his trial is said to have gone well and he was hoping he had done enough to earn a contract.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Isn't he on a 2-week trial? he only started it few days ago right? {Ed001's Note - I don't know the details, I am not there watching training, I am just going on what I was told by someone who is involved with the club. Whether they are not as clued up as they like to make out or not, I only have their word on the matter until something official comes from the club or the lad (or his reps) say something.}

Agree1 Disagree0

Cheers Ed, wasn't having a go, just wasn't sure about the details of the trial, like yourself. cheers for the info, hopefully he does well enough to be signed up, will be cheap and could get ranger and lovenkrands off the books. {Ed001's Note - it's ok mate, no one is infallible and if anyone can add more info it is always appreciated. Trials are very difficult to get good info on, people watching on will often tell you the player has been brilliant and must get a contract but then nothing happens. I once spoke to an ex-manager about a mate of mine, who had a trial at the club he was managing at the time, the manager said he didn't impress at all. But one of the coaches had told me he was really impressive and he had recommended signing him. The lad did get a pro contract elsewhere due to his recommendation, but it shows how subjective they can be!}

so spenny mag doesnt think there are any medical facilites in africa or represenatives can sort it on behalf of players. you living in dark ages man mad max

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Didnt say this! my point was would a national team let players out and be pushed through a stringent medical in the middle of a tourament plus would nufc? all this could result in the lad coming back injured and its not ideal for players either! i can remember a couple of england players saying they would sort out their futures after the world cup cos it was unsettling to do this during! of course theres medical facilities in africa, this i know! of what standard though i dont know but the question is, do you"mad max"? (gives me a shiver everytime i type this name,mad max! crazy frog and scary keith all do the same)....spenny mag

Agree0 Disagree0

Plus a rep cant sign the contract for a player! That has to be the player himself! think about it maximillion! Now whose laughing you clown?....spenny mag!

Redknapp says he'd like to get Ba when he's available, in a months time. Sick of clubs running out for our players. :-(

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Always unsettles players like our gyan

surely jordan rhodes is a must buy, him and ba upfront could be immense! he is unstoppable, if you score as many as this lad does in league 1 surely he can hack it in premier league.... he is better than beckford and he didnt do to badly at a team that isnt as good as this newcastle team!

I saw in some site that,since BA was a free transfer his release clause fee could be around £5m,just as Ben Corgnet of Dijon that we were following(£4.5m) has a release clause of £5.8m . . .is it true Ed, can a club lose a player on this ground?has it happened before? {Ed001's Note - it can happen, it has happened in the past.}

ED, im not sure if this works out correct but theres a lot of talk and guessing that tiote and BA could leave in this window but wont it be hard for either of them to secure a move when they both in africa for up to 6 weeks and what with the african nationional FA insisting they all attend to their respective teams on time and not be granted any extra time, that its unlikely they will be afforded the luxury of leaving their camps for arduous trips back to europe in the the middle of a tournament to secure thses said deals! window will be shut in 6 weeks? just a thought but im not too sure!....spenny mag {Ed001's Note - they would just take their medicals out there, though it is unlikely to happen.}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Why not ? BA may well be off if harrys wants him you dont but release clause in for nothing

Agree0 Disagree2

Agents can do the deal, there are fax machines to send the paperwork, easily done geordie

Agree0 Disagree0

Agents cant sign contracts though!

Harry Redknapp saying Demba Ba has a release clause in his contract. You aware of anything Ed? {Ed001's Note - I don't know, I would like to know how Redknapp would, they are supposed to be confidential.}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Yeh surely harry wouldnt be able to get that information anyway and i highly doubt there will be.

Agree0 Disagree0

This is what he said:

“They say there’s a release clause in his contract – that’s what we all hear"

Agree0 Disagree0

Where and when did he say it....

Agree0 Disagree0

Rednapp does my nut in ,trying to unsettle Ba just like he did with Carroll last Jan. Wheeler dealer pillock imo.

Agree0 Disagree0

He said it on ssn today! karen brady started it all over the weekend saying this is something he insisted on with west ham and also when he moved to nufc! the good side of it is im hearing its set at a minimum of 15 million and only to a champions league team! doesnt leave many options in england!.....spenny mag

Agree0 Disagree0

Harry is a rogue! always has been! thats why he got investigated for fraud and bungs and has never been offered the englan job! hes too dodgy!....spenny mag

Agree2 Disagree0

Demba ba must command a fee of 20 million + dont think harry has that hind of money for 1 player unless modric goes to chelsea

Agree1 Disagree2

Come on daft lad, granted he has done well and scored goals for you,s, but with a dodgy knee that is well documented no 1 in there right mind will pay stupid money for him when you realise this you wont get upset sgb

Agree0 Disagree2

Yeh well if you lot thought you could sign him you'd be doing cartwheels smb.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ba has maybe a season or two in the top flight. Heis crocked already and it is only a matter of time. Make hay while the sun shines.

Agree0 Disagree0

If AC was worth £35m then Ba would be worth a hell of a lot more. The problem with his knees is only going to get worse. Therefor his value is depreciated accordingly.

Agree0 Disagree0

As a Sunderland fan I would agree I am jealous of the free signing you have made.
However, I would point out that his career wont be a long one and those fans who think he is worth £20m plus are living in cloud cuckoo land. If he wants away he will go, if he is happy then he wont. I cant see him making any decisions till the summer anyway.
Even Daren Bent stayed that long.

Agree1 Disagree0

Only stoke said he had Ba knees.. Ba himself and da toon said that they are fine

Agree0 Disagree0

I,m the one who said if ba goes then it will be 20 million and tbh if the offer comes in i wont complain as i have faith in carr our super scout as he aint done bad ...think bents a total different storey he wanted away totally..and if i remember correctly we could of had bent for 4 or 5 millionbut sir bobby only bid some thing like 1 million and tbh again i dont think bents as good as you makems think he his edd do you rate benty..

Agree0 Disagree0

Ba has a buy out clause of 10m so if someone puts in a 10m bid then the clause is triggered and you can't get anymore or any less money, so to put these fools saying he is worth 20m, thats a buy out clause unlucky SGBS

Agree0 Disagree0

Look person if his clause probably says he can speak to some one if its met it will not say meet the clause he his yours if that was the case the one we met clause on in summer would be here i would like ti think we still have to agree to then he has to pass the medical and as i keep reading his knees are knackered playing every game...then where would he go..united ? no even rooney aint guarenteed every game and the same goes to man city and liverpool etc etc

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jan 2012 15:12:56
Steve Kean admits that rovers will have to listen to offers for Hoilett. We should definitely be pursuing him, need some competition for the wingers, Jonas and Obertan have been very poor recently in my opinion

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Id take hoillett in a shot! lads got bags of pace and has a canny shot on him too! think he would do great in a side like ours that has hieght and better players in it! still think he will go to liverpool like its been rumoured tho!....spenny mag

tomkins, samba and defoe all spotted in a church in newcastle, when asked why they were praying they said hoping to fail their medicals so they don't have to sign for them and the cartoon army

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Who was spotted in a seaham hotel the summer nzogbia!!!
jog on SMB

Agree2 Disagree1

Haha Only thing funny is your pylophicy.. if they didn't want to pass a medical why would they accept the approach so why the need to pray..... (ain't coming anyway)

Agree2 Disagree1

They didn't their agents did and they being forced out their clubs, sound familiar oh wait isn't that what happens to your players, watch this space BA,KRUL and TIOTE soon even maybe CABAYE and COLOCINI aswell

Agree1 Disagree2

You obviously highly rate our players that's why you banging on about them all leaving. Strange that since you smb always saying your team better than our's.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agents don't decide transfers unless it's 007

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah not being funny but a player can't be forced to sign a contract...... that's against the law.

Agree0 Disagree0

That's the curse of having good players I'm afraid. When you get some you might know the feeling. Until then you just let us Toon fans worry about our own players and you toddle off with your toys

Agree1 Disagree1

06 Jan 2012 12:24:03
All you Newcastle fans thinking yet again we are going to sign the world and his wife.
We are NOT signing a striker, be all and end all. We are however in for 2 defenders, Chris Samba and James Tomkins, but we will only sign one of them if any.

I am a fenataic toon fan, but you lot make me laugh next up you will be telling me we are singing Ronaldo, Ronaldinho and Fullofcrapo

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Its fanatic m8 and singing ronaldo ? hows does that song go...is it a catchy toon excuse the pun ...geordie tom

Agree3 Disagree0

I'm sure we could cough up £15k for Jason Prior if he proved his worth on trial.

Agree0 Disagree0

Thinking the same thing! isnt prior a striker? hes here on trial but if he signs then thats a striker and your red faced!....spenny mag

Maybe, just maybe ,ashley might give some money(more than £8m) from virgin deal to pardew to cement our europe spot. . .

Believable0 Unbelievable3

What europe spot, one win and your in dream land again, get a grip fool

Agree0 Disagree1

Green doesn't suit u!!

Agree1 Disagree0

Bookies offering 11/2 on us finishing in the top 6. Worth a punt I think.

Makems are 33/1 to finish top 6 and 16/1 to be relegated. The later looks value to me.

Agree3 Disagree1

Relegated?? off the GOON ALE clown

Agree1 Disagree1

The steam behind the appointment generally starts to wear off! we dont need to take pops at the mackems or suggest they will go down or even tell them how good or bad they are! we just need to point at the table as it stands and tell them to look! they will try giving it the whole "wait till may" rubbish but like them it doesnt wash!....spenny mag
