ive got a question for any of the ED'S here. in the papers they are saying ASHLEY is going to buy Rangers and keep us on as well. can he move money from our club to rangers to make them more successful? or is the rules in place to stop him doing this? last thing please MR Ashley don't buy Luuk De Donk spend some good money and revamp our whole team. iam off to Benidorm on tuesday ill still wear me toon top with pride

Today it was reported Mike Ashley is set to launch a surprise takeover of Scottish League One champions Rangers.
The multi-millionaire wants to bring back the days of success at Ibrox and already owns a seven per-cent stake in the club.
The 49-year old feels there could be money to be made as Rangers have retained a loyal fanbase.
BUT. he cannot (by FA rules) own two clubs, so Newcastle fans could get their wish and see the club put on the market for a cut price fee.
Toon fans desperately want to see him sever all ties at St James' Park.

2 clubs in different countries is allowed I think. examples are at Leeds and Charlton.
I believe they would not be allowed to face each other in european competition if it came to it.

Why does Pardew make a right clown of himself with statements like, ` we are interested in Lukaku, we want to keep Remy `? WE all know that with the Fat Man owning our club, even championship players like Ings at Burnley and Rhodes at Blackburn, are out of our reach. Our club will stagnate in mid table until he sells up and new owners come in and get rid of Pardew, Carver and Stone. Today reports are saying Ashley wants to buy Rangers, maybe their fans will show more balls and drive this person out of football.
