I think McClaren has 2 games to save his career. If we don't get a win against Norwich or Sunderland he will be chopped I believe. With a very good manager now available who would match the clubs philosophy. Brendan Rodgers, I for one think he would be a sublime signing as coach. The pressure is on McClaren should he get below 3 points from the next 2 games. Rodgers plays great football and promotes the use of youngsters, he had very little transfer control at pool. Match made in heaven

I wouldn't at all be surprised if his next job involved having more control on transfers. But money does talk and we could get him.

Not urgent! Quarter of the season approaching. Bottom of league @This rate were due for 12 points with goal diff of -44. We need to stop looking through rose tinted glassess. What we got is what we will keep. Who in their right mind would join us in jan?

I agree. The problem is not that we want to buy players now it will be attracting them. We may get one or two but I suspect we will have to dig ourselves out with pretty much what we have and that is not a good thought.
