I've supported the Toon since I was 4-that was 48 years ago. My heart will always be with the club despite what happens, which I know is typical of a genuine Newcastle fan. BUT. to say I've had a gut full of this present regime is an understatement. When will we all realize what is so obvious and that is Mike Ashley doesn't give a toss about the fans or deep down about this great club. He ventured into buying it for one reason, and one reason alone and that has been evident since his involvement. That reason was to try and make a profit out of yet another business venture. Look at the transfer strategy and look at when he spends money. Transfers are based on making profit ie selling on players. Spending money only happens to save his investment ie last January when the club looked threatened with relegation. Rest assured he will not spend any money to make this club a success and if he could sell for a profit tomorrow----he would. And that may not be a bad thing!! For those that respond saying 'he's cleared our debt'. Yes he has, you're right, but only for his own interest. No successful Premier league club makes a profit and that is fact. Just look at the debt of Man U, Man City, Chelsea the list is endless.

I first went to the Toon at 11 years old - 55 years ago and have every sympathy with you. We've had some bad owners, managers and players in all that time but nothing as disastrous and embarrassing as our current owner and his 'top man' Kinnear.
He has taken a well respected club and turned it into a laughable circus complete with clowns (Kinnear and the lately lamented Llambias), balancing acts (his books), nervous high wire acts (relegation battles) and the ever present smell of Man Utd.
It really is time he permanently moved his wagons on to somewhere else. Rangers maybe?

Agree0 Disagree0

Have to agree with above posts, jk ma are a compleat joke, jk? No one wants him at the club only ma, not ap his staff players and fans, why would you go there when you know everyone thinks your a person. Everyone! I wouldn't would you?

After last season no top players are going to want to come to Newcastle. It's much of a risk that they will be fighting relegation again next season.

Looks like Brown Ideye is the best striker at the right age that wants to actually play for us. Would prefer Bent over Kone but only really because he's English, as both only have a couple of seasons left.

We are not going to get/challenge for the best players available. Bernard (too expensive), Tom Ince (don't think wants to come to us) just to name a couple. We are going to have to take a chance on unproven players such as Ideye.

Should take Gerard Deulofeu on loan for a year. Could do well in the left wing position that we need most desperately.

Another week, another letdown, another sense of cabaye going, no one coming in, and Ashley gambling on our squad keeping us up. In other words another season to forget.

We used to be exiting, full of flair, goals, attacking players and challenging for the title, now we are poor, clueless, and the team everyone loves to play as we capitulate in almost every match.

How can this have happened to this club I love.

Agree0 Disagree0

Fed up with Ash and Co, we should stay away from St Jamses until they get out of our club, Ireckon about six games and were rid of them for good.

Agree0 Disagree0

That would not help the team! Understand frustrations, but the TEAM must come first in tems of support that's why WE are different from the rest, never forget or loose that.

Agree0 Disagree0

IT won't help the team your right but it is the only way to get the message to Ashley. If we keep turning up 52,000 every other week he will carry on his reign. Its for the greater good.

Agree0 Disagree0

With a poor start, the fans will react by refusing to waste their hard earned money on buying tickets. Why should they put money in the fat mans pocket if they get nothing in return?

Agree0 Disagree0

4th poster - Are you incapable of not seeing a bigger picture mate? Or are you really that desperate not to miss a game or two to try and get an end to this regime?
As the ad says - get some nuts!

Agree0 Disagree0

Your talking crap, followed the lads since I was 6 aim 50 now, have seen a lot mostly very average, and I agree ma jk fools. But we need to stay in this league and not going to games will only help opposition, there are other ways to vent your anger, sing till your hearts content during games, protest before half and full time, don't buy merchandise, just may be if we can lift the roof off enough, buyers will come in, but no good if not in this league unless we want do a Pompy /. coventry?

Agree0 Disagree0

Look what Tottenham did to get rid of Sugar it didn't take long when they boycotted the club there flying high now, tried not buying things at games didn't work stay away for a few games and get rid. that's the only way.

Agree0 Disagree0

If you go to the games to protest Ashley has already won. He has the money already in his pocket. Do you think he cares what you do at half time or before the game? He has skin like a rhino. The only way to hurt him is the pocket that means staying away form the ground and not buying merchandise. He would soon F**k off.

Agree0 Disagree0

Spurs are a london team, they recover a lot faster and were always up there, big club, not a wee club

So we have pulled out of going for Kone because he doesn't fit our criteria, but surely he didn't meet out criteria before we started bidding. what is wrong with this lot

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Shows how well the new set up is working. They're clearly stepping all over each other's feet, it's a mess.

Agree0 Disagree0

Its a joke.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm a mackem and I'd have KONE he was very good last season at wigan, very intelligent player who can score goals

what is Papiss going on about he is begging pardew to play him upfront this season instead of right winger he never played right wing once last season he was always up front on his own?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

He was mostly out wide until Ba left.

Agree0 Disagree0

Start the season he did when ba was still at the club

Agree0 Disagree0

He was always on the wing when BA was here. That's what made him lose his form from the season before

Agree0 Disagree0

Seriously can't be a#sed correcting that

Agree0 Disagree0

It does help if you watch more of the game than the five minutes on match of the day.

According to the Chronicle we've pulled out of the race to sign Remy, if its true then, WHY? Yes, he's on bail and rejected us for money in january, but he's still a top quality striker who has lightning pace! We need more pace upfront! We need PL experienced whos still at a decent age! FFS kinnear is tearing this club to shreads.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I doubt we have ever been in a race to sign anyone. Same old Ashley will gamble again this Summer with no signings and hope we stay up. He will then get Puppet Pardew to say the squad is good enough for a top 10 finish. Same story different window.

Agree0 Disagree0

Iv said it loads and I'll say it again, we will get 2 players this summer, Darren Bent and James Tomkins

Agree0 Disagree0

Ashley needs the cash to pay for his Tesco project. I see players going but no real investment. Interest in PEA, just a smoke screen.

So its a different Summer same old S**t. I take it i'm not the only one starting to get really annoyed with our clubs policies!

A lot of people are saying we need two strikers, we only need one! If we buy two strikers that means Campbell is 5th choice! 6th if shola isn't sold! He needs a chance next year. Anyway we need 1 striker 1 creative winger and a centre back. I think we should go for Remy 8m, Ince 8m, Richards 7m who can cover Debuchy as well. Richards is premier league experienced and is only 24. Ince has not officially signed for anyone yet and we are still in the race. Remy could be done for rape, don't care if he rejected us for money, he's still PL proven and a quality player, the type of striker we need. Get them three in and we have a top 8 squad.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Why pay £8 million for remy. when he's at court in sept. then he could get locked up for 3 to 4 years then its £ 8 million down the drain it don't make sense to me. geordie tom

Agree0 Disagree0

Agreed on the signings but who are the other 5 strikers at the club to make Campbell a 6th choice? according to David Craig we are favorites to sign Ince.

Agree0 Disagree0

Non of the above are coming or even thinking about coming this isn't banter its delusions

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm with Geordie Tom on the Remy situation, could have been a bullet dodged last January. He seems like the kind of character we don't need around the club. even if it turns out to be pack of lies or he gets away with charges.

Agree0 Disagree0

If we get in Remy and sell ameobi:
Our strikers will be
1st Remy
2nd Cisse
3rd Gouffran
4th Campbell
5th Vuckic can play as striker
