Just came across the following story which is disgusting news and is depressing as sh*t, same old things. we are the most turned over fans in the world:

Speaking to The Telegraph Newcastle United Managing director, Derek Llambias has said that Newcastle United now have the players that they wanted thanks to acting early in the transfer window, and once again reassured fans that not a single penny of Andy Carroll s (up to) £35 million transfer fee has left the club.

He also also protested that the club s new signings weren t cheap, even though two of three incoming players were available without a transfer fee as such due to contract expiration in the case of Sylavain Marveaux, and contract release in the case of Demba Ba. However there have been rumours of a fairly hefty signing on fees and agent s fees, as much as £4 million each for the two signings. Llambias told the Torygraph .

I can assure everyone that not a single penny of the £35 million has left the club and neither will it. It is all going back in.

We have acted early and we have got the players we wanted, but none of them have been cheap. We have paid good prices for them. They certainly weren t free transfers, there are fees and wages to consider.

It is our responsibility to make sure we look after the club responsibly. If we spent all the money on players this summer, what are we going to do in January if we need to bring somebody else in? We are using the money sensibly.

Here we go again, Sunderland fans claiming that they are a bigger club than Newcastle. What a bunch of deluded idiots. Newcastle have a MUCH bigger fanbase, Bigger ground and probably the best football fans in the country ( This is coming from a Liverpool fan). Newcastle have also averaged much higher finishes than Sunderland since the Premier League began, They have finished in the Top Four Seven times and played Uefa Champions League football. They are a more attractive preposition to anyone with a footballing brain. Yes they have been relegated once from The premier League, But how many times have Sunderland been releagted? Think about it...

Believable4 Unbelievable0

I think you're asking abit much asking the SMB's to think about something.

Its nice to see an honest fan thanks but if you watch M O D the S O L looks like a boro stadium on match day lots of empty seats the makems forget about that we had more fans watching us in championship

Would love Newcastle to sign Moussaka Sowe, but I do not think that Lille would sell both their main strikers... Plus NUFC do not have the cash, and the fact that we have already snatched their playmaker, Cabaye.
Erdinc deal dead in the water though, gutted...

As a Newcastle fan i can honestly say (albiet a little early) that i am losing all hope in our club becoming big again in the near future - yes i know there will be alot of faithful (to me deluded) who are going to bang on about the transfer window only being open a few days but the sad fact is , since the window opened most of the rumours have dried up. This page was PACKED for about 2 weeks before now lucky if its 4 a days and none of it is good news. I genuinley think as much as everyone wants to back Ashley for making us into a 'good business' that the guy is really going to screw us senseless.

People can say "we dont want a 20mil signing with a name" but that is EXACTLY what we need, this season is going to be a disaster, a packed midfield with players of potential but no prem experience and a strike force of Shola and Ba.............

I dont think relegation is on the cards right now but i don't beleive we are going to be able to attract any quality players for the next few years.....

Bad time

Alan pardew went missing for a few hours today until someone realised he was so far up Mike Ashley's arse he had dissapeared all together
Apparently Ashley is not a FAT cockney idiott at all. It just appears that way carrying around pardew and Lambias up his arse
Ashley is in fact just a cockney idiott
Get out of our club

Mike ashley buys ye club for 130 mill off 2 crooks, has hardly any revenue for 3 years off season tickets, ye have a current squad who cost nearly 80 mill. he takes back 35mill off carroll was all the money paid for upfront or in instalments like most deals, he tries to please the fans by bringing kk back to the club who is that much of a man he tries to take the club to the cleaners but the sgbs still love him and before the season mr ashley will most probably bring in a couple of new signings to please the crowd who after the first 2 games will be demonstrating outside sjp asking for his head. if i was mike ashley i would put a lock and chain on the ground and fold the club and he should put his money into a lower league club like darlo or wrexham whos fans would be over the moon with a chairman like mike ashley

Agree1 Disagree1

Ed i thought i put in a good reply to this post but not got on are you a mike ashley hater as well i think the s**te the fans give ashley is well over the top i reckon the fans would still like hall and shepard in the driving seat in which case ye would not have a club to support if ashley had not taken the helm for a sinking ship

Agree1 Disagree1

Personally I would just like him to speak to the media just once instead of Lambias who I just can't stand. Just to hear about where he wants the club to be.

What numpty says we have no revunue did he see the SUNDAY TIMES when premiership teams posted the yearly revunue and we made nearly 16 million more than SUNDERLAND and sunderland made less than they spent sorry forget MAKEMS dont read very well

Agree1 Disagree0

Mr numpty my team darlo actually won some silverware last season and would love mr ashley as our chairman as for sunderland they seem to have overtaken newcastle in the transfer market

Just heard that an anonymous Swiss Bank account has queried as to the availability to buy shares in Newcastle United, offering 26 gold bars totalling 200 million and a Nandos gold card for Mike Ashley. Also have the backing of Stone Cold Steven as a future chairman?

Believable1 Unbelievable2

Swiss banker? With that sort of deal he sounds more like a Goblin from Gringotts Wizarding Bank..

im a massive newcastle fan and have a season ticket. ive been hearing alot about enrique staying and going. with clichy nw gone to man city i think itll be very tough to keep him with arsenal and liverpool both in the loop for him. although we need i think atleast 1 more striker who is a out and out goal scorer with pace we need to be doing all we can to keep enrique and dont let him go until we get a good replacement N.Taylor is not a good replacement hes a good championship player just like perch but will not cut it in the prem we need someone with experience in the prem and is good enough to fill his boots. and btw i dont like him but give ashley a chance hes not going to through money away when we can get just as good players in on a free he will spend the money but only the necesarry price and not just to bring in crap players hes not selling the club so we need to strt supporting him NUFC 4eve

Believable3 Unbelievable2

I think the clichy deal will see things starting to move in the LB position Arsenal and liverpool thought to be looking at him and if they come in with serious offer then expect NUFc to make their own moves to fill that position

Erding Rejects newcastle move and wants to stay in France - Sky Sports.

Looks like we'll have Demba Ba and Shola upfront next season. wheyyyy
: : : :

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Still plenty of time to get another striker in Erding wont ahve been the only name on his list of targets

Agree2 Disagree2

We'll see how loyal he is to PSG if they agree a fee for him. They make s**t in France compared to the wages he could get in England. Even fairly low wages here are higher than Ligue 1. Hence why Cabaye isn't on massive wages.

Mevlut Erding is ready to shun a move to Newcastle after declaring he wants to remain with Paris St Germain.

The Magpies had reportedly made Erding their No 1 striking target after they lost out, coincidentally, to PSG for Kevin Gameiro.

The North East club are thought to be pushing hard for the Turkey international and are understood to have bid in the region of £7million.

Rennes and French champions Lille are also interested and Erding was linked to the latter, possibly as part of a bid for Eden Hazard.

But, despite the potential moves in the pipeline, Erding has now declared he wants to stay and fight for his place at the Parc des Princes.

"I stay in Paris, " Erding told L'Equipe.

"I want to impose myself here and I do not fear competition. I'm ready. Anyway, there is always competition, at all clubs."

whether the nzogbia rumours are true or not, in all honesty why do you want him? Yes he's had a good season at Wigan, but ask yourself, why did he leave in the first place? There are many reasons, which no doubt some of you will bring up, but a large part was due to the fact he was, and probably still is, a moody arrogant c***. We weren't good or ambitious enough at the time, and in all honesty what has changed? We have enough left sided players as is, should we need them, why not keep hold of Joey Barton and bid for a couple of forwards/attacking midfielders with good work ethic who can drop back, play one up front and a 5/3 midfield depending on whether we're away/home or attacking/defending? If Ba plays as a target man then look at HBA and another to play off him and seek cover for them rather than trying to get Nzogbia to accept a deal he doesn't really want.
