I hope we get new Manager/Coach in soon and not wait untill end of season. it makes sense for someone to come now see who we have and get rid of the ones he doesn't want and get players in during the summer that will make a difference to his squad
Depends mate if we can't get anyone decent in now I'd rather bear out until the end of the season and then get a good head coach
Are you kidding?? Whoever comes in (if anyone does) will not be looking, evaluating and deciding anything! The job now is simply coach and pick the team out of whatever pool of players you have. Best players will be sold at a premium and arrivals will be a minimum to survive in the premiership. That's how its been since Ashley arrived so its not going to change now! The sooner he decides Rangers are a bigger cash cow than us and moves on, the better!!
Agree 100% with you banch. on what I've read about it the head coach will come in do tactics pick the team ect. he will have no say on who we buy and don't buy. so yeah i agree with you m8
Banch dead right a coach/manager simply means Ashley decides who Newcastle buy and who they sell
Staying in the premiership is the only objective this seaon anything else is a bonus don't hold your breath.

Not sure what the point is in this post. Agree with Banch, it's 2015, and all Ashley's doing is pretty much what every other club does, in other words Carr does the scouting, Charnley does the wheeling and dealing and Ashley agrees (or not) with the spend. And if I was Ashley I wouldn't have let P45 or any other 'manager' do any of it. Can you really imagine P45 doing all his own scouting, negotiating with agents and chief execs, etc. and signing the cheques? Whoooh!
Agree Vic, outside of th big 4 every other club is a selling club, just look at Swansea, we all got the hump because we missed out on him and Gomis, it now looks like they are off.
That seems to be how football is now. I don't support Ashley but look at Wigan, their chairmen loves the club but is that where we want to be?
All I want to see is decent football now.
Ok its 2015. i thought our club has been run pretty much like what every other club does since Ashley's been at our club. how long has he owned us 7 years now. so what was pardews job description was he head coach ? so really its nothing new for our club my thoughts my opinion.
