well done jfk and gc finally remy deal done on season loan so that's the we won't sign anyone and its all lies tell you u fans who always put team down now want to take a good look at yourself and ask are you really fans

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Take a tablet fans have been very patient and 1 signing is not enough

Agree0 Disagree0

We get a player who may be going to jail, we get him on loan and all of a sudden the club's great and we should keep our mouths shut? How JFK has the credit for this is beyond me little man as we were after him long before he came in and insulted our players, staff, fans, oxygen and sensibilities. Can I remind you that all it takes is for him to go to jail or get injured again and we're right back to where we started. Typical fool, one bit of good news and the whole world's rosy, one bit of bad and it's bed sheets at dawn, pffff.

Agree0 Disagree0

Are you a mackem? because I didn't understand any of that. Remy is a great signing. People make mistakes in their life, what's the point on not forgiving him for the January situation, when there's nothing you can do? He's a striker that ticks all the boxes, pace, lethal and determined.

Agree0 Disagree0

You don't really think Newcastle would sign Remy if there was a good chance he was going to jail do you?

You do not know Ashley very well if you think he does not research and cover his bases before spending his money.

Agree0 Disagree0

JTG, the point is, we've got our first signing, and its a great signing. Its given everyone at the club a lift, especially the fans.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well I didn't know how highly up mr Ashley is surely he can't bend the law if the cps have a case and if remy is found guilty he will go to jail and will never play football again then which centre forward will Newcastle have to rely on

Agree0 Disagree0

Ashley would not pay remy 80g a week in winter will cost toon about 7mill for 1 season so why did he not pay wages in winter ashley ain't got a clue fat cockney

Agree0 Disagree0

JToon, what didn't you understand? Yes, Remy is a great player, but a great signing? Come October he might be in jail, he's a stop gap to cushion the probable fall through of Gomis, like I said, we have made ONE signing and it's dodgy at best. I never mentioned January, I never said he was a bad player, I pointed out to the original post that we needn't keep our mouths shut just because we have one AMAZING signing, because he isn't an amazing signing, he is an amazing player but would you really want him IF IF IF it turns out he's a filthy rapist, and if we don't seal the deal with any other player and he's off to jail then we're back in the merde. I could use smaller words if it helps or write phonetically? Yes, we got our first signing and it's a relief but this is what people are talking about, the fickle nature of some fans, yesterday it's all Ashley out, JK is a joke and hasn't done anything, he signs someone who turned us down ON LOAN and he might even be celebrating Halloween in the scrubs and all of a sudden he's a genius? My cat could have brokered that deal.

Fantastic news! remy signed, hopefully he's innocent with his court case, he's a brilliant player with the attributes we need for a striker. Ed, do you reckon there will be some clauses in the deal where we can get him on a permanent if he's innocent and if he's guilty we can send him back to qpr?

I think now that we've made our first signing, its took a lot of pressure off everyone at newcastle. i'm now quite excited for the new season, its high hoping but just because of that one signing, i'm now thinking, maybe we could replicate 11/12, maybe we are a top 8 club, maybe 11/12 wasn't a fluke. its early days though.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Remy is a great signing but don't get carried away - we need another striker (or two), winger and goalie to give us a squad that can hopefully compete next season.
Don't forget our players can go down like flies once the season starts.

Congratulations Joe, you've done something right!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

So now it's all "well done Joe"".
Shakes head at how fickle Toon fans can be (and that's coming from a Toon fan).
Wait until we sign another two or three AND let no one go before we start throwing bouquets to our new DOF.

Agree0 Disagree0

As other comments
Not trying to be greedy but gomis please and a winger
Prefer not downing but if its him so be it
Would prefer ince though pay another 3 mil rather than 5 for downing

Agree0 Disagree0

Mr mackem, again you've embarrassed yourself. We'd be fickle if we now loved him, but if you didn't read the post properly, I was congratulating him.

The three headed monster of

Ben Arfa Cisse Remy

I'm now excited.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Gouffran is a great player to have as an option in that front line.

Imagine how good Ben Arfa, Remy and Gouffran would be together, they are all flash players quick with their feet.

Defenders are going to earn their packet playing against us this season.

Agree0 Disagree0

As much as I want to cream in my pants ben arfa could get injured, remy could go to nick and cisse could get sold. But that's the worst that could happen! Or they could bang in 40 goals between them and make me sh!t my pants!

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah decent attackers but our defence is awful let in almost 70 goals in the league last season

Agree0 Disagree0

We have a great defence in debuchy, Taylor, Mbiwa, Coloccini, santon, just needs time to gel

Agree0 Disagree0

But that's the defence that let in all them goals so where are you getting a really good defence from? there not good enough we need to make a couple defensive signings

Agree0 Disagree0

Sunderland may have signed more in terms of quantity, but we have signed more in quality!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

We have more quality throughout! You will see in the comming months

Agree0 Disagree0

No doubt about it, they have signed something like 8 players and they are not improved 1 iota on last season.

Lost Migs & Rose and instead of replacing Rose they go out and buy squad padding.

Are they ever in for a shock to the system next season, I am glad they have stayed up 1 more season so we can knock the stuffing out of them, then they may retreat back to the Championship.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just shows they can't attract the quality we can attract.

Agree0 Disagree0

We will see! Knock much stuffing out of us last season?

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol deluded. Time will tell. Enjoy kinnear and pardew.

Remy has signed for the season. Top player could form a lethal front 3 with HBA and Cisse.

enjoy your trip up too IBROX tomorrow lads and lassies, u will be made really welcome, although our club seems too be in more turmoil yet again the players will be focused too give your team a good work out before your EPL starts, we might be in the third teer league BUT REMEMBER WE ARE STILL THE SAME GLASGOW RANGERS, Good luck lads for the new reason.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

The same good luck to you.

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought you were in 2nd tier now?

Agree0 Disagree0

When do you reckon Big Mike will take you over?

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye, hats off to Gers, you stuck with it, far, far, far worse than we've had it (obviously). Be a good day out.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sooner the better he takes over so long as he goes from NUFC cockney clown

we all know mike likes a gamble but this remy deal could be his worst 2mill for a year plus his wages for a year on 75k a week what happens if he is found guilty on these rape charges will the club still have to pay his wages for a year or can they at least get reimbursed on the 2 mill this deal could end up like elm street

Believable0 Unbelievable0

His wage for a year is pennys to ashley

Agree0 Disagree0

Mike will know this, there will be some clauses where if he is innocent we will be able to get him permanently and if he's guilty we'll be able to send him back to qpr.

RAW74 is on the muckem page having a pop at rumour Toon are after Tom Ince. He makes me laugh when he goes on about " Sunderlands Mega signings" ha ha. Well all the B list players they have signed all have one thing in common+, NO other clubs were interested in them.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Hola

Well he's a funny guy, just like you. No other clubs interested, that's so funny. You don't sound bitter at all.

Sustantivo

Totali De Loodaid-Jordis

Agree0 Disagree0

Its fair to say the mackem no nothing about football. They have been saying all summer we are not getting Remy, we are. Saying they are getting Rose, Duncan, Insagine and anyone else they can link themselves which they haven't. Its great going on their page always makes you laugh.

Agree0 Disagree0

Remy = better than all of the Sunderland signings put together.

They are such an amateur set up, it is funny.

They know deep down their signings are medicore, that is why they keep putting up rumors of every Italian they can think of, oh and Danny Rose is due any day now. LOL

Cabral looks like he can play on a soggy pitch that was more like a rice field, that is all they have to shout about.

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont be a schoolboy.
Do you want me to list the players that you lot have been saying Newcastle were interested in?
All you are doing is showing immaturity.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol Remy, all is forgiven. Fickle

Agree0 Disagree0

Go on then Jeez. I reckon no more than 8 players if your honest unlike the 40+ you have linked yourselves with. Immaturity is a big word for you. Don't think you know what that means judging by your posts on this site.

Agree0 Disagree0

Remy = better than all of the Sunderland signings put together.?

How old are you, 9?

I'm loving this 'amateur' thing though. Because Ashley, Pardew and Kinnear are so professional aren't they?

Agree0 Disagree0

Signed Cavani yet? haaa

And you cannot say we believed the Rooney rumor, we all ruled it out straight away.

Your page was buzzing with the Cavani stuff, you lot thought you had arrived on the big stage.

Agree0 Disagree0

You're forgetting the Mackems know everything! Apparently remy is going to west ham, Gomis to marseille, insigne, lamela are going to Sunderland! SMBs! Remy is better than any Sunderland player, well so are most of our players. Look forward to seeing them do a QPR. Too many signings, too many average players.

Agree0 Disagree0

I divint knar why you all let the mackems get to you ignore them ffs. geordie tom

Agree0 Disagree0

Actually
Diakite was wanted by many clubs in Turkish and French league
Roberge wanted by Europa league clubs such as Inter
Ba was wanted by Spurs
No one else were targeting Giaccherini, but they were desperately to keep the Italian International as here was regarded as fantastic player in Italy
We still can get Rose, Coentrao agreed deal with Spurs, Rose won't get 1st team now, it we pay the fee, he's ours

Another funny thing is that in January, Remy rejected you for QPR, says something don't it, and you were calling him worse than muck
Now he's having a medical, your back Licking his ar*e

Agree0 Disagree0

If Roberge was wanted by Inter he would have gone. If Ba was wanted by Spurs he would have gone. Give your deluded head a shake. As far Remy. What player doesn't go to a club who pays the most you would in your line of work would you not?

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeh and if remy was wanted by anyone else he would off gone, only came to yous because no one wanted him, and he can't leave the country to play abroad because of bail conditions so he had a choice of staying at qpr or going to the club he didn't want to go to in the first place.

Agree0 Disagree0

Who else was even remotely interested in him?
World beaters. From a bottom of the table team to Champions League on one loan deal.
You can't see that everyone is laughing at the antics of your club and fans.

Agree0 Disagree0

Your clutching at some very big straws Jeez. Not one post mentions world beaters. We all knew we needed 2 striker to improve an already good team not a whole new team like yourselves. Have you seen we have signed Remy. The bloke who wasn't coming. Your source is letting you down this window. Rose signed yet or can he still not find that pen?

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree if another team in LONDON had come in for Remy he would have gone there. He openly stated as much. We are not deluded like you lot thinking all signings want to wear our shirt and walk to the region to do so. Lot of bitterness from our unwashed neighbors. Why do you care so much your dark horses this season remember.

Agree0 Disagree0

Jeez, do you think your new signings will help FILL your stadium for the first time in over 5 years? The 2012-13 campaign saw Sunderland record their highest average home attendance in five seasons.
An average of 40, 544 supporters attended each of the 19 home league games – an increase of almost 4%.
'The Wear-Tyne derby against Newcastle back in October attracted the biggest crowd of the season as 47, 456 fans packed the Stadium of Light'.
PACKED, PACKED! There were still 1, 500 empty seats! Pfff, how loyal or skint, or not bothered you lot are.

Agree0 Disagree0

JTG most of your season tickets are tied to ten year and five year direct debit deals

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes, we're so keen we buy 5 - 10 years in advance and have a regular crowd of 50000+ and we had a packed stadium before the fat one came (even more so in fact), we hold the world record for a non top flight attendance as well, not too bad for such a bad set of fickle fans.

Remy on Tyneside for a medical. Maybe JK was telling the truth.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

05 Aug 2013 11:12:59
Great news guys! Loic Remy having a medical today ahead of 2m loan. Fantastic striker who can also play on the wing. We need some pace up front, I reckon he would make a fantastic partnership with cisse! I just hope there's a view to buy clause thing if he's innocent with his court case so that we would have the first choice to buy him next summer. It would be devastating for him to do so well but then go to spurs or someone.

Fingers crossed guys!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

05 Aug 2013 03:35:02
I to was unsure about Joe Kinnear and atm I still am. But in my eyes, we have to take what the guy is saying as the truth until what he is saying doesn't materialise. He has more or less guaranteed that signings are imminent by suggesting we are talking to more than one player, and have back up targets highlighted (to me this is sensible) Newcastle have been there and done that with regards to being held at ransom over wage demands and look where that has got us in the past.

Although we have not spent anything as of yet, I personally would rather be in the position we are in at the minute, than a one where we would have panicked early in the summer, and paid an over the top price on a very average player.

I do believe that players will come in the door. and I can see the argument against taking our time in terms of gelling into the squad, however imo we do not need 5+ players in the manner sunderland have, we need in the region of 3 which shouldn't be to difficult to gel in, especially if one of those (REMY) was to have premier league exp.

Maybe I am being to lenient however as i've said I would rather we took our time to get the players in we actually want.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I can understand your point old boy but why mention the Black Cats in your statement of intent? Why not Norwich? With the non goings on at St James Park you need to satisfy your uneventful preseason by chewing the beef of Sir Paulo's signings, Let us see in the season fella how all the signings go on! RAW74!

Agree0 Disagree0

I totally agree getting the right players is important and doing the correct homework to make sure they are right. However taking JK word on anything is something I can't do. Bloke has some serious integrity issues although he came across a bit more coherent than usual.

Agree0 Disagree0

RAW74 he means that our squad is already at least top 10 quality, we only need 2 or 3 players to make it top 8. Whereas Sunderland's last 2 or 3 seasons have been terrible but that's not really surprising with your standards.

Agree0 Disagree0

Is that why you finished where you did?
Oh! I forgot you hadnt gelled and had more injuries than the rest of the Prem put together.
Dear oh dear.
