Another defensive display fortunately Liverpool only have Suarez as a goal threat otherwise it could have been worse.
Does anybody know what's going on with Marveaux,Abeid and Amalfiltano?
We should give Campbell a game on Thursday he can't be any worse than Cisse.

Cisse is only as good as the service to him. This season our midfield havent been as effective as last year simple as that. The main problem this year has been the changing of systems its been 442, 451, 433 and 4411. We had a great run last year playing 433 with Ba on the left and it worked. The players dont seem to do well when the system keeps changing, Ben Arfa is best playing in the 433 formation, when we play 442 or 4411 or 451 he spends too much time defending. 433 worked and thats the system I would play. Drop Jones, Play Anita and play Ba on the left of a front 3. If he dont like it, then Cisse and Ba will have to fight for the centre forward role. Obertooon should be starting, in the few games he has played he looks like he has learnt to beat his man and cross the ball - which is much needed at the moment.

Not just Marveaux, Abeid and Amalfitano there's also Gosling and Vuckic.
Doubt if any of them are ever going to be regulars in our first team despite all the accolades given to them when they first signed. We are desperately short of midfield creativity (doesn't help the likes of the unfortunate Cisse) and think some of these could be shipped out and replaced quite easily at no great expense. to improve our squad

Agree that he will be shown up at fullback but not sure I trust him at the heart of midfield. He needs more time to get used to the PL because so far he's looked very out of his depth. Hoping he can come good.
