Did anyone see the tweet sent out by nufc official saying that "pardew has left the club with immediate effect" minutes later it was deleted. Don't know what to make of this

Im getting more and more frustrated with Pardew's post match interviews. The excuses are getting rather lame. for once be honest, we were crap.

With a New manager we could do a lot better

Awful performance by the toon today. You could see we weren't good with many things. Santon didn't look good at RB, Obertan ahead of Gutierrez and Marveaux.

In my opinion our coaching setup is awful, We either need a whole new manager or need Pardew to get better in.

Team I want to see against Man City:

Krul
Saylor-M'Biwa-Willo-Haidara/Santon
Cabaye-Tiote-Sissoko
Ben Arfa-REMY-Gouffran

Also I want to see Marveaux or Gutierrez back on the bench instead of Obertan.

Cant believe fans are calling for jonas to be back. rewind 3 months to your comments regarding jonas and shola.

Agree wiv marveax like. where is he. maybe he refused AP a shot with his Mrs

Put it this way, Would you rather play Gutierrez or Obertan?

i think Newcastle United has got to be one of the hardest clubs to support. all the ups and downs.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Im 37, Newcastle will always let you down. Just when you think things are turning they will implode.

Agree0 Disagree0

Been a season ticket for 15 years running now up in level 7 and it is hard to support this club. Wins and dissapointing Losses.

I agree with some of the comments about how awful our coaching setup.

I've never rated Steve stone as a coach, we need coaches who can train our players better in terms of attacking, defending, technical and tactical play, and adaptability and also in terms of motivational. Whenever we go 1-0 down, it seems to take the player half an hour to react, they always seem really flat and like a team of individuals. And pardew needs to be more pro active in terms of substitutions.

But unfortunately under Ashley and JFK I can't see us getting anywhere.

Fully agree, new coaching staff needed

another goal from a set piece, time for a change in the coaching staff, couldn't believe it when I saw Obertan on bench it got worse when he brought him on. what's happened to Bigi, Sami Ami, Campbell even Marvoux has disappeared so who do we bring on to chase an equaliser Obertan and Shola. Ben Arfa is a class act but our management don't seem to get the best out of him. All I can see for this season is to win a few lose a few and finish between 8th and 12th without a lot to shout about

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I dunno why we are not going for some of the former man utd coaching staff like Mike Phelan. Evra scored 4 headers or something from corners last season for man utd!

Agree0 Disagree0

We have Ashley as chairman

Apathetic and 3 losses on the bounce. What do fans expect. Pardew has done wonders with his hands tied not daring to speculate.
The team today under the circumstances was OK but when Obertan came on is shows how bad we are,
Newcastle will be fighting for a 10 ten finish and I can't believe the persons on here advocating Champions league football and finishing fourth and ALL the names coming up day in day out that we are linked with buying.
Joker has been in Greece looking at 2nd 3rd division player only because they are cheap.
The club is a shambles and it will stay like that as long as Ashley is the owner.
All credit to the optimistic bloggers but I for sure am not one of them and today proves why.

I agree vida. We are out of of both FA cup and league cup, we won't get into champions league, Everton deserve it more. We won't get relegated (well I hope not) and we don't really want Europa league because of the stupid scheduling. We've got nothing to play for now apart from a top 10 finish. The ambition just isn't there. No doubt pardew will have his excuses ready about inexperience players playing and tiredness showed.

So, another year we have to wait until we have a chance at winning a trophy.

This season has been up and down, not amazing but not bad. But one of the major problems we have, is that we are so inconsistent. We can't seem to produce a 70 or 80minute performance and score a few goals, Crystal Palace-we didn't get going until 30mins, and we had an own goal and a penalty.

It always seems to be a game of two halves, Tottenham, Chelsea, Norwich, Sunderland, West Brom, Swansea all prime examples. And against Cardiff, we played football from 45-68mins, that's it. Cardiff deserved it.

Pardew's very reactive-not pro-active. Mourinho is an example of a pro active manager, against Southampton, he realized his system wasn't working when it was still 0-0, what did he do? He brought on 3 players, who massively changed the game for them. Pardew however, is reactive in the way he'll only make a change if we concede. He goes into panic mode and throws on Ameobi as his "Plan B".

Ameobi is not a plan B. We haven't got a plan B.

We don't have a philosophy, one week we'll be playing some good fluid football, the next week we'll be constantly hoofing it into the box. We want to see attacking, fluid football.

Pardew is too defensive minded. Roberto Martinez is what you call an attacking minded manager, he's developed a mouth watering, attractive football philosophy that we can only dream of at the moment. He takes the game to the opponents, no matter who they are; Everton at times outplayed Arsenal in their 1-1 draw earlier this season. Martinez has got Everton to 3 games where they've scored four goals-Stoke, Fulham and QPR. Pardew has achieved that twice in three games-Southampton (we conceded 2 though) and Stoke (Stoke had two men sent off and before that they outplayed us)

Come on pardew, sort it out.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No, ashley won't sack him. I don't really want him sacked. but he needs to change.

Newcastle will not sign a CB or defender this January according to Joker Inhear.

Efforts to balance the books with ougoings and attempts to sign a striker on the cheap whilst making noises about a possible winger.

Having said that no one knows not even the joker or Ashley all this suppossed scouting and negotiating is pie in the sky. Newcastle I am told will try and limp home and mid table is acceptable for the people running this club.

Anyone else think that the only signings will be replacements? Can see people leaving then cheaper players brought in

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Hopefully not, we need ADDITIONS not REPLACEMENTS.
