JToon, our position that season masked how bad we were and how we were outplayed by most teams for most of the season until he started to play 4-3-3 towards the end.

Totally agree art well stated mate. However I don't think a goalkeeper to challenge krul should be too high on the list.
Let's hope Charnley can keep the rest of the transfers quiet (if we do sign anyone else) so that we don't get outbid by another club.
And also maybe the lack of news and rumours about Aubameyang, Lacazette and Cabella is a good thing for us.

But has Pardew not already contradicted himself? as in he's said SDJ is Cabaye's replacement but also said he's glad to have got a striker in early.
he's (Ashley) obviously trying to kill to positions with one player.
yes we'll try for Cabella (which will continue to be drawn out to the last days of the window I reckon) and maybe a striker. But I really do not think they'll buy 2 more strikers.
hope the club make me look silly and actually do.
