Token gesture to appease the fans. Might have something to do with the rumor 4000 fans cancelled their season ticket yesterday.

we are not safe yet but wouldn't it be ironic if we lost every game till the end of season. Ashley's fat ar-e would be twitching. makes me almost wish it would happen. come on lads from now on don't go to games don't buy anything he produces or anything at all he sells go and watch the game in your local he will get the message in the end but come end of season you will all be there buying your season ticket and he knows it.

But we will never lose that amount in that time.

We really need to force ashley out by the summer. I hate to say this but the longer we are under ashley, its only a matter of time until Sunderland overtake us. They have an ambitious owner who cares and will spend the money, and they also have a talented young manager who has modern and bright ideas.

What NEEDS to happen:
Ashley sells by the end of June, a rich and ambitious owner buys him out.
We sack pardew, kinnear, carver, stone, charnley
The perfect manager for us: Michael Laudrup, he is modern, will bring back the entertainers, passing, attractive and attacking football. Plus Swansea want him sacked by the end of the season.
Get rid of deadwood (in terms of players and staff) let laudrup get his own staff and let him build a team

Agree with you jtoon, but sadly I think it's just a dream because for every fan that that is willing to stay away there is another ready to take that seat!
I've posted previously that fans that chose to support the team should not be critisiced because it is there choice to do so, as I've said that is another reason I hate Ashley for dividing us!
Sadly we are no longer Newcastle united, we are simply Newcastle fc!

PFM I just wish that dream would come true : (

JT I agree with you but. where ( and who ) are going to we get in to manage us? also who's going to buy us? I agree we need a complete rehaul from top to bottom like you said we need a young progressive manager. P. F. M I agree with you about fans staying away there's always someone to take their seat. I live in the midlands now so I don't get to matches now but believe me I bleed black and white and I hate what's going on at wor club anyway let's hope ASHLEYS going to buy rangers the quicker the better

{Ed039's Note - From the Rangers Editor ........ you can keep him, and believe me, that is saying something)

Geordie tom, there's two mega rich billionaires who have been life long toon supporters. Alexei Mordashov and Anil Ambani, they could potentially buy us.

As for a new manager, I know I keep banging on but Michael Laudrup is the perfect manage for US. He will bring attractive, attacking football, he will install a philosophy that will give us stability, and also most importantly, he's a WINNER. He's done a fantastic job at Swansea, he hasn't got the best players at his disposal, but him and his coaching staff have trained and adapted their players right from grass roots, to play his way, he's improved a lot of players massively. They're not doing the best this season, but they are doing alright in the europa league, but to win a major trophy in your first season in the premier league, is not the sign of a bad manager.

If we don't get Laudrup whether we have a new owner or still have Ashley, we will have massively missed the boat. He's currently unsettled at swansea and he could leave at the end of the season, he's the one who can take us forward.

No point in debating a new manager while the current regime in power as Pardew will be going nowhere, don't buy from his tat shops and back heal home games and he might get sick and do one!

Agree0 Disagree0

I heard about this anil ambani a couple of years ago he got something to do with telecommunications in the middle east. to the Rangers editor watch out Ashleys on his way to govan lol. anyway jt m8 let's hope he buggers off sooner rather than later

Agree0 Disagree0

We can wish all we like but Ashley doesn't give a f***. Why should he sell when he's found a formula that guarantees him £20m, £30m, £40m a year plus unlimited free advertising for SD? Buy 'em cheap, sell 'em dear, hover around mid-table, don't risk that Europa Cup business and still rake in the season ticket money. Until the vast majority of diehard fans finally get it into their heads that they're wasting their time and money and stay away, then we're stuck with him. Makes you weep!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ashley is going no where all the verbal abuse means nothing to him. But I have heard he is an absolyr coward and a crown turning on could really be the key

Other point NO players of any quality are coming to this club and it is recognised that young players will be bought as Newcastle offers them a platform to move on and up. What an absolutr disgrace. Get into Adshley's Fat Head and let him know he is not welcome in Toon or anywhere near it and do it now.
