So Tiote is heading back, but since the goal at old trafford Perch has been in good form which helped him to be in starting eleven ahead of Anita, so Pardew has a tough decision to make and thank you for notifying me about the spelling error on my previous post. iToon

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Without cabaye and benny, Tiote has been forced to play out of posistion in the fact he needs to get forward more than usual. With Cabaye and Sissoko he'll be free to purely defend and I suspect he'll be soon back to near his best

Tiote needs to pick up his form for us and fight for his place.

Agree6 Disagree1

I don't know hwy everyone keeps posting about playing Mbiwa in a DM position. Yeah he might be good there but do we really want to play our 3 CB's in one game? that's risking us having to have williamson back in the squad!

Agree4 Disagree1

Spurs fan here, were looking to do a minutes applause for gazza in the eighth min in the game nxt week! Its fitting were playing you and would find it a nice gesture if you were to join in with the minutes applause?

Great idea mate well done

Love the gazza idea, he's done a lot for us and spurs. Such a shame but he doesn't need the fans sympanthy he needs our support

Tiote back sooner than expected

Believable1 Unbelievable1

I think Tiote will be an even better player with the new signings around him and Cabaye back, I know he has been a bit off but we have had some rubbish playing near him. Destoon

Ben Arfa, said in a recent interview, he'll want to stay in Nufc if they are ambitious, if yesterday's celebrations doesn't show passion and ambition, I don't know what will. Cabaye and Hba needs to be with us next season to realize what they are worth as individuals and what our club means to them. Sure, its good to play for Man utd, city, arsenal and so on. but it takes real drive and passion to play against them and beat them, the feeling is surreal. iToon

Believable4 Unbelievable2

Only Ashley will decide. Fans carried away after this much needed transfer input could be dissappointed On commings & Goings in the Summer
He will for sure balance the books

But Cisse is a joke right now 3 clear cut chances blown he looks very ordinary
and the weak link & will be changed
in the close season

Agree5 Disagree4

Cisse a joke? What are you a smb fair enough had chances but Cech was outstanding his link up play and overall performance was tremondous

Agree5 Disagree6

Hi, I was at St James Park for the match and the most important player was Cabaye; before the match he was firing up the new signings; during the match he had stand out skill and aggression; after the match he (with Steven Taylor)took the French guys (including Sissoko, who came back onto the pitch) on a lap around the pitch taking in the crowd and the applause for about 10 minutes. Cabaye showed committment to the club; fantastic!

Agree4 Disagree0

If you watch Cisse he had 3 scoreable
chances I hope he starts scoring and soon because he us rhe only passenger
right now.
Squad good now & 6 other good players to add to the squad AP needs good team selection

Fantastic result and performance from the lads last night - Sissoko looks to be a real beast!

Only disappointment was the way Demba Ba was treated, booed throughout and when he was forced off through injury - disgraceful.

Believable6 Unbelievable10

Were we meant to cheer and sing his name for being a greedy tw#t like, he got the reception he deserved

Agree9 Disagree1

It was unfortunate that Demba Ba left the club; its fair game to boo for some fun; it was an accident he was injured; BUT what was interesting was that the Chelsea players really were not bothered about his injury; it was a large group of the Newcastle players who surrounded him in the centre circle when he came back on, showed concern and persuaded him to go back off. Demba forgiven for going! Come back to the toon at the end of the season and play for a team!

I think this team (including perch and Gutierrez) is pardews first choice. Tiote and Ben arfa in for perch and Gutierrez when they are back hopefully

Captain Cabaye next season once Colo goes? {Ed002's Note - I would think so.}

Believable5 Unbelievable0

What if cabaye goes? very possible

Agree1 Disagree8

If Pardew has words with him and says I want you to be my captain, I think it will make sure he stays. If he captains us in the premier league, has a regular spot he is a sure fire French international and a contender for the french captain arm band if he is captaining his club!
