Really proud of the teams performance today - they played and were unlucky to not get a goal at 1-0 down. I think the loss of both Coloccini and STaylor at the back was probably too much. I think when Colocinni went off we should have moved Simmo into centre, and brought on Santon and not Perch.

The injuries are strating to pile up and I am a bit worried about the december ficture list and the squad depth. I hope that Pardew can use this to convince that we prob need x2 names Defensive Cover, A midfielder who can play either as a middle 3 or on the wing as part of 4, and a striker. We need 4 players in minimum.

Believable3 Unbelievable1

You got stuffed sturridge should have scored at least 6

Agree3 Disagree2

"should've and did are two different things.

Agree2 Disagree0

Ok you got stuffed 3-0 but if sturridge could learn to finish better should of been at least 6

Agree4 Disagree2

You obv didnt watch the game then, it wasnt until the last 10 minutes when their 2nd and 3rd girl came, and the 3rd was only because our back line was all over the place after loosing both Taylor and Colocinni.

Look at the stats - posession, shots, corners - all pretty equal.

Weve shown we have great starting first choice 11, now need to show we have strength in depth of squad. Jan cant come soon enough.

Agree2 Disagree1

You DID get beat badly at the sporrts direct arena and chelsea SHOULD have scored more
Krul DID make some fantastic saves and SHOULD agent mike get a half decent offer for him youll have steve "no2" harper back inbetween the sticks before you can say THE BUBBLES BUSSSSSSST

Agree3 Disagree2

We Should have had 2 or 3 goals as well. hit the woodwork a bunch. it was an open game and both sides could have scored more.

Agree2 Disagree1

Should have and did are different things. At the end of the day you had the heaviest home defeat by any north east premier league team this season. Ooh the fogs on the tyne

Agree2 Disagree1

You hit woodwork but so did chelsea twice well beaten

Agree2 Disagree0

You obviously didn't watch the 1st half geordie coz chelsea blitzed you, overall assessment of the game is you should of had 2 and chelsea should of had about 8, they made you look crap, even we faired better than them at the SOL and this is when they weren't putting pressure on AVB to win games

Agree3 Disagree1

Lol i love the way everyone is saying the bubble has burst when were inbetween the top 6 still who are supposed to be 'title challengers' talk to us in may if were in the bottom 3.

Agree2 Disagree2

Ok will do

it is now time to play Santon RTaylor has done alright but he is begining to be found out and not just by the top teams, Ive said before I cant understand APs subs...Ben Arfa would have thrived with the space later on, bring on Shola take off Lovenkrands also Obertans is a luxury we cant afford im fed up waiting for him to do something, young Ameobi puts in a better shift but 1 pint from the last 3 games is OK as long as we get back on track, its the bottom13 clubs that we need to take regular points off Des Toon

Believable3 Unbelievable0

If I was Santon I'd leave in January from playing for Inter to sitting on our bench watching Taylor making numerous mistakes every game he must be wondering what it's going to take to get in the team.
I'd play R.Taylor RM drop Obertan put Santon LB and Guttierez back in at LM.

Agree5 Disagree0

When we signed enrique he did not make it into the sqaud for ages as he needed to adapt to the English game. It took over a season before he looked class. Santon will be similar, but I think that we are after Peiters to play LB and Santon will be RB. I would also like us to buy another CB to challenge Colo and Taylor. I also think that HBA should play on the right wing and play 2 big men up front. With Tiote out we have lossed our box to box MF player and when he is in Cabaye gets forward a lot more and picks out killer passes. HBA or Guthrie on the right wing for the next game with Shola and Ba up front.

Agree1 Disagree1

I think santon was always bought to eventually end up as RB, but fill in at LB until we buy a perm LB. Danny Simpson is coming to end of contract and not being offered a new one so may be gone in the summer. I understand why Pardew hasnt chnaged the back four so far, and has probably been waiting for the right time - and the the time has now come.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not sure about PEITERS any more ,why do we always buy players who been injured previously. You have to ask is any player as good after injury with breaks.

What the hell was that ref doin today. Ithink every one should shut up about last weeks ref now ,we've clearly had payback now!

Believable6 Unbelievable5

Are you refering to the clear pen chelsea got as for luiz ba was falling over every chance he got should have had two yellows for diving

Agree2 Disagree3

This morning (sunday) the ref has contacted Pards to apologise for not giving a red to Luiz . Having watched the tv coverage he realises BA WAS clean through on goal. Ithink that clears that one up then.

Odds have now shortened on Sunderland finishing above NUFC

Believable7 Unbelievable4

We are 15 points ahead of yous, keep dreaming

Agree2 Disagree4

Fergies mind games made you lose 13 points...ho ho ho squeaky bum time!

Well when both Ameobis are on the field and then likes of Lovenkrands,Perch what can we expect. Chelsea maybe in decline but still lightyears ahead of us. Pardew needs to now say to R Taylor, thanks but im playing our 6m fullback. Taylor does ok against the likes of the wolves, wigans, fulhams and sunderlands, but when we are up against the better sides then he is found out. If Ashley wants to keep hopes of a top 8 finish,he needs to let Graham Carr bring 3 or 4 players into the squad with a bit class. If rumours about Tiote wanting the move to chelski for a bigger pay packet, let him go. Only worry is Ashley will pocket the money.

Ahh 3-0 at home!

Believable5 Unbelievable1

Just gonna say what one of your lot said, if we only lost 1-2 at home to chelsea and you lost 0-3 does that make sunderland better? GET IN CHELSEA! Bubble has burst

Agree7 Disagree3

Bubble burst? mmm well WHEN will your bubble inflate?

Agree3 Disagree5

Already getting pumped up mate....O'Neill will see that we get revenge

Agree5 Disagree3

I think you should think first, new manager but still same CRAP squad of players. Jonjo will have fun training Donkeys after his spell training horses

Agree2 Disagree6

I must say that was side splitting my buddy from the small hamlet in northumberland.

Agree0 Disagree0

Oniell will play them in correct positions with better starting line up with real tactics and non baffling substitutions

Could of and should have been a different outcome had the correct call been made on the Red card. But we were on the wining end of a bad call last week, and on the receiving end of a ridiculous non call this one. Overall 1 point from these last three games isn't great but.....performances weren't too bad and now it is time to look forward to the next few weeks, and games we should get three points from.

Believable3 Unbelievable3

Rubbish about time your luck runs out with refs, last week pena that never was and hernandez's goal that should of counted, sunderland game when Tiote fouled richardson, pena not given, arsenal game when tiote fould gervinho pena not given, Bubble has burst, injuries, suspensions building up, your not a big club and if it weren't for Krul you would of lost by about 6 at least and not to mention Martin O'neill has taking over at the north east top dogs, prepare for us moving up the table and you lot down! SGBS

Agree6 Disagree3

Rubbish? Did you even read the post you responded too? or does that garbage just spill out whenever you open your mouth?Try reading the post again, it says it was a lucky call last week. If you can look at that DL foul on Ba and say it is anything but a red, you clearly haven't a clue about football and therefor any comments you make shouldn't be taken seriously. Further more i would hold your comments about moving up the table until after the wolves game ;)

Agree4 Disagree4

Once again Sunderland fan (SGBS) responds to a post not having read or perhaps understood it. I am sure he will now respond with some tirade or explanation (or insult) that makes no sense, trying to explaining his point. If i were the rest of the Sunderland fans i would ask him to stop supporting your team. He just succeeds in making you lot look dumb (which i am sure the majority aren't).

Agree4 Disagree4

I love how you said if we didn't have Krul we would have conceded 6.. you're right we should put a donkey in the nets and see how we get on shouldn't we?! We shouldn't bother scouting and buying players with potential and putting them on the pitch should we?...

Agree2 Disagree3

To the SMB wow you've got to let it go whinging about about something that happened months ago and I understand you're probably only about 10 years old but try learning the offside rule Chicarito was offside and the linesman got it right.

Agree0 Disagree3

We do apologise for having a good goalkeeper I mean maybe we should get someone as bad as Mignolet.

Today should see the end of R Taylor at left back. We signed a left back for around 6 mil, so why do we play a guy who cant defend for his life instead of him?
Today we saw ryan taylors defensive abilities without gutierrez holding his hand through the game.
I have no doubt ryan taylor has put a good shift in, and i agree that Pardew was right to keep him in when he was playing well. But he's had a mare today, and i think Santon should start against norwich.
In january we need a striker and a centre back.

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Slip sliding away, slip sliding away........the more you're slip sliding away....

Agree7 Disagree2

Slip sliding away..... so clever you lot are. remember what happened last week when you ran your mouths..... recall wigan anybody?? good luck tmrw at wolves.... ha ha ;)

Mike Dean is a joke and should be embarrassed about his performance. That was a red card any day of the week, no doubt.

How feckin lucky is Steve Bruce ? he gets sacked on 30th November , next day all the big department stores are on the lookout for a big fat chap used to wearing red and white !

Believable0 Unbelievable1

That jokes getting old now, been going for 3 days now, come up with something new SGB

Agree0 Disagree0

Its getting worse for Steve Bruce. His wife has left him for Frankie Dettori, she says wants ridden by a Derby winner.

Agree1 Disagree0

Does the steve bruce jokes bother us anymore nope, he is a geordie, Martin O'Neill is a mackem and our new manager!

Agree3 Disagree0

You should be careful what you wish for. O'neil is prone to strops when not getting his own way. I can see tears befor bedtime for all the SMB if o'neil don't get loadsamoney for players. Will lmao if the chosen one cant save you.

Agree1 Disagree2

Your just jealous we have a good manager now, not like agent ashleys puppet parwho and your worried that we might actually do well now since bruce has gone. Be afraid deluded geordie's, drown your sorrows 2nite lads and do the same against Norwich next week.SGBS

Agree3 Disagree0

Obviously it does bother you lot look at the comment above.

Agree0 Disagree1

Why would we worry about a team in the bottom of the table . By the way see you lost again to the mighty wolves :)
