Hopefully Gomis and Remy will sign soon, will be a great lift for everyone.
But also hope we don't stop there as desperately need a left winger. Gouffran is better at CF and Jonas can't play on the wing as has no left foot, can't beat anyone and can't cross. That only leaves us with Sammy and would be best if he goes out on loan to the championship and plays every week. Although Marveaux is left footed he doesn't seem to be able to play out on the left, needs to be more central as beating a man and crossing isn't his game.
All we need is someone with a good left foot. Look at Robert. He wasn't that quick or skillful, but he had a amazing left foot to pass, cross and take free kicks and corners. He also scored a good few.
Are loads of good wingers out there that we should be in for who would add another dimension to the team. Have mentioned them all in previous posts (Shaqiri, Traore, Allessandrini, Ince are just a few).

Doesn't mean he's coming to the Toon.
All the media have reported is that "Remy linked with west ham" "West ham enter remy race" whereas it says about newcastle "Newcastle agree 2m loan fee for remy" We should have the better chance and there's even reports suggesting remy wants to come to us

Who we signed wasn't the point was it Jeez it was the fact you keep telling us what is going on at our club when you know nothing of your own. So what you have bought 10 players, who to say any of them are going to be any good? Big gamble if you ask me.
We have signed 9 players. You have signed no one. We may not know if they are going to be brilliant next season. But when you brought in the garlic gang you were bragging how good they were especially after you beat Chelsea. But after that you w lost 3-0 in your own backyard and were nearly relegated. So you can't have a go at our signings.
The garlic brigade as you put have now had 8 months to settle into there new surroundings so I would think they will a lot better than last season. Takes time to adapt something you lot will find out with your brand new team. Why do you keep mentioning relegation when you finished below us and your gloating of the derby win is boring. Forgot how many we have won. Small things, simple minds.
We can have a go at your signings because you faced no competition for them! and they're not well known appart from giacherrini and altidore! they're all average whereas M'Biwa was captain for a champions league team, haidara was also chased by spurs, sissoko was chased by juventus and debuchy almost went to chelsea!
And look at how they have turned out. 1 game wonder sissoko. mbiwa is crap he hardly set the prem on fire did he, how come he's not getting rave reviews if he's that good?
Around 30 goals conceded since January. Liverpool conceded less in one season (23). Without colo your defence is easily beaten. Sunderland got 3 and Liverpool got 6 without Suarez.

Hi guys, just had a relaxing holiday in Malaga, so I only checked up on the latest Newcastle rumours once or twice. And yes you may remember me as "rose tinted specs" or whatever. So I'm just going to sum up what I've missed.
Win 1-0 against Blackpool, nice result and good to see amoebi carrying on his good pre season form
Win 2-0 against st mirren. Another decent result hopefully the new boys are starting to gel in a bit more and feel more at home.
New homestrip comes out. Looks nice and Sissoko looks a beast in it.
But then I saw this "Darren bent rejects Newcastle after meeting kinnear" that's ridiculous, wtf did kinnear say. He's not the most motivating man but that's utterly ridiculous that a player rejected us because of our DOF
But then I felt less depressed when I read this, Newcastle agree fee for Gomis and 2m loan deal for remy but I know not to get my hopes up. I will believe it when I see it.
So on the whole I think we're improving. we only need 2-3 players to sign and a win against rangers to get that winning mentality. But what I expect pardew to do and I think he will, which is block out this kinnear mess to the players. If you know what I mean. I think we've got a great squad of players, one that can really gel and become almost like a family, and even if we don't sign anyone I'd still be fairly satisfied to put out a team that I would expect to at least fight for a draw, call me rose tinted specs or whatever but that is how highly I rate our squad
