If Pardew were to be sacked, who would people want at NUFC? (Realistic options only)

Redknapp would be my favourite as I've always liked him as a manager, only problem is that would he want to move all the way to the north east and that he spends lots of money, but I know that admires 'arry. Moyes who might not get a new contract, would be a great manager, and we would probably get a few Everton players, mirallas, maybe baines, pienaar, jagielka. Would really like moyes as well. Laurent blanc, would be great with all of our french players but I think he might be going to montpellier. Pochettino? Got southampton playing lovely, attractive football. Would like him.

Just a radical thought - O'Neil, what would he do with a stable of racehorces rather than the donkeys he's had to play with? {Ed001's Note - take them the beach and let kids ride on them in a swap deal with the donkeys.....}

Blanc would be my choice. It is unlikely we would get Moyes, why step sideways? We could maybe give him some more spend each season, but I see him wanting a top 4 job.

I think moyes would come to us, because even though we are a similar club to Everton, I really can't see anyone getting everton into the champions league with those owners. Moyes would come to us because ashley is building a great football club who will soon be able to challenge the top 4 with the right manager. The more buisness and profit ashley makes, and the higher up we finish in the table, the more money the manager can spend. We could already give moyes more money to spend than that everton owner bill kenright is it? So he'd probably think that he could actually achieve something here, and I reckon he could. He could make us back to that special football club again. And imagine if he did come? He might just bring mirallas, jagielka and pienaar with him!

I started the post, interesting to see peoples views. TBH I am not sure we would get any of those managers. Knowing Newcastles recent track record of managers it will someone who is cheap and from London. Harry Redknapp is a no, would cost too much money and he would clash with Ashley. Moyes, is a no as he will probably stay at Everton. Blanc is also probably a no, as it seems he is going to France. Martinez? well he seems the one that ticks the boxes. The only thing would be could he handle a bigger club (in size) to Wigan?
