Who else thinks its a possibility NUFC could go down?.
I have a bet,£20 on NUFC and SAFC to go down and the BORO to get promoted.If it wins i get back £1680.
Worryingly i think it has a good chance.
Long ball teams do not have sustained success.Newcastle had a great season last season but have now been found out and with the extra european games taking its tolls on the squad and an owner unlikely to spend in january are going to struggle.
Sunderland are struggling no confidence inconsistant,cant score,dont shoot,lack of creativity even though they have quality on paper and cant buy a win there two wins have come from playing against ten men.Whats going for them is they will buy in january and will either sack Oneill or if not its because he has turned it around.
Boro are certs for promotion quality throughout the team at that level and will go up.
Hope my bet loses obviously but if it wins i will go on holiday with the money to help me with the depression of my team being relegated.

I bet Guthrie is gutted. Offered a new contract at SJP but turned it down to play first team footy for Reading and now he is not playing first team footy at Reading and would have been all season for us.....muppet, it is not always greener on the other side ask AC, Barton, Enrique.
By the way does anyone know when Obertan will be back?
So Guthrie cant get in the Reading side but would be in ours....?????
With the injuries he probably would.
He can't get in the reading side coz he "fell out" with mcdermott
He fell out with BM cos he was not starting games and he probably realised what a mistake he had made leaving us.

lets go for the forgotton man, Kevin Doyle in a decent side he would score for fun.
Great idea, he would suit our long ball game under AP which serves us so well. Do you realise opta stats prove we play more long ball than any other PL team!!

When we needed another centre half LAST January how on earth did we not sign one in the summer to challenge straight away for the first team? As much as I rate Taylor he never plays a full season as he gets injured every year so it was obvious that at some point we would be down to just collo and useless Williamson. I assume the plan was to use Perchinio as cover, but is he not cover for right back and central midfield too? I know he has improved a lot but he can't play in 3 positions at once.
I don't care if he is closer to 30 than 20 we should get Dawson from Spurs before Arry does. Dawson is proven in the EPL and that is what we need not another player from abroad that will take time to settle and adapt to the English game, last time we did that with Collo we went down.
Need another CM, Sakho is being mentioned and a right back or a left back and push Santon over as Simpson is pants. No point buying a striker unless it is Zigic the way we are playing at the moment. If we can keep it on the deck I'd go for Gameiro but not sure any of these would come to us now.....in the summer probably as were a good team going into Europe looking at mounting a challenge for the CL but now all we are doing is looking to survive.
