Jesmond Geordie you came on our site and said something about cavani sorry I didn't think mike Ashley got jealous and said they were going for Rooney oh and I remember what was that score again oh yes It was 0-3 in your crap backyard we outsang you that game great support you got

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Where did you finish again under your new messiah? That is right below us again! Enjoy your derby win, like they say every dog has it's day. Forgot how derbies we have stuffed you in. 5-1 springs to mind though.

Might jump across to your sight for a laugh to see which world mega star you are linking yourself with today.

Agree0 Disagree0

You beat us for the first time in years SMB and as usual still finished above you in league just stay on your own site in slumderland.

Agree0 Disagree0

I only heard the mackems at the final whistle after the boos. You never outsang us and I don't know why your calling our stadium a "crap backyard" because its a bigger and better stadium than yours, plus st James towers a beautiful city. So you basically owned yourself Mr mackem who supports 5under1and who rightfully finished below Newcastle who are a bigger and bettter club.

5under1and will always be in Newcastles shadow!-can't believe your still w**king over your first Derby victory in like 6 meetings, well I suppose we Toon fans have never experienced that because we're too used to thrashing you every season! It will be back to normal next season!

Agree0 Disagree0

You have to laugh at Sunderland thinking they are our rivals.

They are ankle biters.

We are rivals with the likes of Liverpool for league positions next season.

Good luck to Sunderland, they will be battling with the likes of Hull next season LOL.

They thought they were getting Cavani, but they are getting an injured Diakate who will lay on the injury table all season ha.

Agree0 Disagree0

And a player from basel that no ones ever heard of!

Agree0 Disagree0

Along the lines of Liverpool
Don't know if you know this yet, but most pundits have you to go down next season, and I reckon Hull won't either

18. Cardiff
19. Newcastle
20 Norwich

Agree0 Disagree0

Bigger and better stadium?that will be right, you are the only prem team with a sloping pitch, it is a joke lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wtf? where did you get that from? Newcastle to go down? oh yh by the way you spelt sunderland wrong, its
18. cardiff
19. sunderland
20. norwich

Agree0 Disagree0

No, that's what most pundits think

I am entitled to my opinion. We are a massive club, bigger than liverpool, spurs, everton, chelsea, man city. Your deluded if you can't see that its not just about silverwear.

We have got probably the fourth biggest fan base in world football after man utd, real madrid and barca. FACT.

Im talking real fans not what you have on your fifa, twitter, accounts etc.

Marko Marin's not getting played at all at chelsea, and I highly doubt he'll be in mourinho's plans. How about a move for him? Great playmaker, flair exactly what we need and he's only 24, 25. I wouldn't like a loan really but he'd cost around 7-10million. Thoughts?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

He's off to Dortmund
Sick of people talking out they're ar*es

D'ya want the mackems to come back at us again

Agree0 Disagree0

How is he talking out of his backside. Does the lad know that he is off to Dortmund? I wasn't aware he was. Like the lad says he is no way out of our league. Not even established at Chelsea.

Agree0 Disagree0

Tell that to jesmond Geordie hahha

Agree0 Disagree0

There's no news about Marin going to dortmund and I can't believe you actually care what mackems think. Marin would be a good move.

All these rumours of Ben Arfa leaving are rubbish. Why would he leave? there's only 6 or 7 clubs in world football bigger than us. Man utd, man city only because of money, chelsea because of money, Arsenal, barca, madrid, bayern munchen,

We are bigger than Liverpool as they are and average club now they don't win trophies, its like saying forest are big because they used to be succesful.

We are bigger than spurs, everton etc.

Our players are very lucky, they play infront of the best fans in the world only Galatasaray could be compared to our fans for loyalty and passion.

Is that a fact? yes.

You cannot judge the size of a club on trophies. We have come close a few times, if we won one cup to break our duck we would dominate English football.

If we won the league you would have to knock down sjp and build a 250k seater stadium because we would fill it.

Who loves their club like us though?we are special, all I think about day and night is the toon and no one else has that loyalty and devotion.

I wish some one rich would buy us because of our potencial, we could be with the right investment the biggest club in the world bigger than Manchester United far bigger. apart from trophies we are as big anyway.

Ashley should see this and keep the better players and add some real quality, be brave and buy the neymars, cavani etc he needs to be brave becuse if he bought those players the clubs value would sky rocket and he would make more money in the long run.

I have been a supporter all my life i'm 39 now and it hurts me seeing the club not living to its potencial and just plodding along its a waste of a unique club.

JESMOND GEORDIE

Believable0 Unbelievable0

We are a bigger club than Liverpool as they are an average club now they don't WIN TROPHIES. Lol Yes newcastle want to stop winning all the trophies and give other clubs a chance.

Agree0 Disagree0

I know we have some deluded fans but this is outrageous, this has to be a wind up there is no way somebody can be so deluded.

Agree0 Disagree0

I sometimes come on this site to have a laugh and boy you broke my ribs

Agree0 Disagree0

I very much agree with you on the part where ashley needs to be brave and spend a bit more money, but the thing is we need to keep a financial structure. But I would rather have an owner like daniel levy rather than sheikh mansour or tony fernandes, simply because levy is a better buisnessman and has got spurs in fantastic financial position. However I disagree with your comment on us being a bigger club than liverpool that is just utterly wrong and laughable, we have better fans than them though, I agree with you on that I think we would make top 5 best fan bases in the world.
Chelsea and man city are a lot bigger than us, only because of when there owners bought them and they started to win trophies. but yes we are in terms of tradition, fan base etc. are bigger than everton and spurs. We are probably the best fans in england, we turn up to see our team every week, sell out the away seats every other week even if it is the other side of the country, and we deserve to see our team winning trophies.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes you can judge a club on trophies, its easy to do. Fristly you look at how many trophies a club has won, then compare that number with another club, and so on. I truly hope that you were joking in the first place, however if your serious please could you tell me who looks after you as I am a social worker and can help

Agree0 Disagree0

I can't believe that the person above is agreeing with him 9th post one above OP:

Anyway, bigger than Liverpool? They don't win trophies anymore lol and you do?. How do you have better fans than Liverpool also?.

Bigger fanbase than spurs?they have a season ticket waiting list of nearly 100k.

Top 5 fan bases in the world you don't even have top 5 in Britain, Celtic, rangers, man utd, Liverpool, spurs, Chelsea, arsenal all have bigger.

Agree0 Disagree0

I can not believe you all reacted to original post!

Agree0 Disagree0

Did I just read that. please don't call your self a newcastle fan again, you sound like you need to be put in a padded room mate.

The only thing we have going for us is that the fans are always thereyes we get pissed off but that is becasue we SHOULD be big! we are not a bigger club than LOLpool, they finish higher, actually have a good set of players, Tottenham, well they have Bale But Tottenham are a team who fight for the Champions League, sorry we fight off relegation.

What have you been on this season? I really want some, by the sounds of it you watched a totally different season to the one we watched!

Agree0 Disagree0

I mean top 5 best fanbases as in loyalty and Passion. I know for a fact we actually have a bigger fanbase.

Agree0 Disagree0

How can you possibly know that as "fact"? Tbh to say that you know something as "fact" depends on what you accept as being true - which is known as epistemology (spelling). So in your argument you say Newcastle have a fan base in the top 5 world wide? And you can prove this with factual information? Please can you do this and show us without any doubt that Newcastle are a top 5 supported club in the world.

Lukaku buyout clause is 17 million surely he's worth that?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Surely he won't come to Newcastle

Agree0 Disagree0

Didn't Chelsea pay 18m for him?

Agree0 Disagree0

I would go for it

Agree0 Disagree0

Definitely not true. 19 year old wonder kid who they paid 18 million for? Think about it.

Agree0 Disagree0

The Drogba prodigy has a 17 million pound get out clause. A

GIVE YOUR HEAD A SHAKE!

Agree0 Disagree0

Demba ba, in the top 5 strikers in the leauge, 7million buyout clause, so stop trying to be cocky {Ed001's Note - except that Ba was much older, cost the club a lot less and has knee problems. How on earth can you compare the two? Do you really think Chelsea were so stupid as to include a buyout clause less than they paid for him?}

The best forward pairs consist usally of one tall player and one short-medium height player, which means one can head the ball well and one is quick enough the go past defenders.
Aumbeyang: very quick for the height of 6ft1 and brings a lot of flair to the game
Carroll: we all know his game
These 2 players would make newcastle united a extremely tough team to beat

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Give me a example of this in a top team. this is a very 90's approach and easy to defend against. Plus it promotes the long ball tactic which i'm sure by now we are all sick of.

Agree0 Disagree0

Would prefer remy or bony to carroll but defo want aubameyang

Agree0 Disagree0

Can they defend

Agree0 Disagree0

3m Obertan Doubt it

dont want Samba

Why not? samba is great from set pieces and solid at the back and has bags of experience {Ed003's Note - Wages maybe}

Agree0 Disagree0

Been pretty crap for QPR from what we saw.

Agree0 Disagree0

ok, season finished we survived. let's get them striker targets signed up before its to late, we must of been looking at strikers for over a year now with nothing of any note signed up. We will do ok with same team, but god we need striker options as goals are hard to come by

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Aubameyang please!

JMW

Agree0 Disagree0

Simple, is he for sale? does he want to come? 50k a week, simple, bought and signed. get on with it ashley stop messing

Agree0 Disagree0

We have a good squad that just needs a little improving but it does not matter who we sign if Pardew does not play players in their correct position and does not drop people out of form.
However we need perhaps 1 wide player, 2 strikers and a new centre back if Collo leaves.
Wide player
Dries Mertens - first/expensive choice
Sinclair - second/cheap option

Strikers
PEA & Lukaku - first/expensive choice
Kevin Gameiro & Charlie Austin - second/cheap option

Centre half
Lescott or Alderwald - first/expensive choice
Douglas or Richard Dunne- second/cheap option

Agree0 Disagree0

Aubemeyang will go to a bigger club
Lets move on from this

Agree0 Disagree0

Take a look at our goals against column, we need better defenders for next season, because the ones we have are embarrassing.

Agree0 Disagree0

Douglas has signed for a russian team. i'd rather have williamson than richard dunne

Agree0 Disagree0

You don't know who will come in for him. No need to move on, we have a good chance of getting him.

Agree0 Disagree0

rumour mill going about is ben arfa is about to be sold for roughly £18 million tbh I would sell think every player has a price and the last season and a half his had to many injuries. just need rid of williamson, anita, shola as think he needs to aswell and would think about selling cisse. bony and carrol for me upfront then buy that young striker austin and scott sinclair from city and maybe danny rose from from spurs has he his a decent player. any agree or disagree. k

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Nah, tiote I think will be the only big name we sell. Gosling, ameobi, obertan, williamson, simpson, harper, jonas and potentially anita. I'm getting excited, and i'm very confident we are going to get Aubameyang!

Agree0 Disagree0

There is no reported interest in Tiote, nor are there any rumours of Newcastle being interested in selling him.

It's okay to want to sell Tiote, but that actually happening is a very different thing altogether.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why do you want to get rid of Anita? Gutierrez is the one we want to go. Also Ben Arfa is one of the most gifted players in the BPL, he's worth a lot more than 18 million and Ashley knows it. It will cost upward of 30 million to get him, not because he's worth that much, but because Ashley won't let him go for anything else.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 May 2013 10:24:13
Me nans mates cousin who works down the bookies was right - see previous post dated 20 may. Tiote is off too.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Anyone agree with me that pardew never really wanted gouffran? I think he was just a panic buy to try and replace demba ba. I think who AP really wanted was Aubameyang and Remy. Gouffrans been subbed off in most apps, if not all of them! I really don't see a long term future for yoan here, he's 27 soon isn't he?

JMW

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I am not sure what would give you that idea.

Pardew would not play him if he did not rate him, simple as that.

Pardew actually thinks Ameobi can change a game is what the problem is.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think he's pretty good, runs the lines well, link up play is better than Cisse's. Having him as our first sub would mean we've got a good strike force. He's essentially a poor man's PEA - and that's not exactly an insult.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with the comment above, Gouffran has come in with nowhere near as much hype as Sissoko, Yanga-M'biwa and Debuchy but has been brilliant he runs the channels, holds the ball up well, has scored a couple of important goals, works his socks off and the thing that's surprised me the most is his strength I didn't see much of him before he signed and was expecting him too have lots of pace but be very lightweight and get pushed off the ball in England but he's come in and he's been pushing others off the ball, very good signing especially when he only cost 1.8m.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 May 2013 23:17:00
Anyone else noticed that most pf the players we've been linked with would be lost to the Africa Nations Cup if we did get them on top of Tiote and Cisse
PEA-Gabon
Bony-Ivory Coast
Ideye-Nigeria
Boudebouz-Algeria
N'Koulou-Cameroon
Belhanda-Morocco
I'm pretty sure Eder is the only player we're linked with we wouldn't lose, might be a good idea to get him as well if we get any of the above players

Believable0 Unbelievable0

What about ince, Marin, samba

Agree0 Disagree0

Well Newcastle said they were going to dip in different pools and not just France.

I think Holland, Africa and Belgium were all mentioned

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought they had played africa cup twice so that it now falls at the same time as the euro, s? so wouldn't loose any of the players

Agree0 Disagree0

The acon is played in january so it makes no difference if its the same year as the euro's we would still lose players to it

Agree0 Disagree0
