Mackem in peace. Well that was rubbish for both of us we sign quantity over quality. Bar giaccherini diakite altidore who I like and i'm happy with Borini he's a top player given the chance and only 22. Sessegnon to our rivals is stupid. Not too bothered about losing him yeah technically worldclass and skillfull but inconsistant and goes missing. Great games are few and far between.

You must be unhappy with signing no one apart from loans. We deserve better but especially you lads after finishing 5th recently.

Borini a top player? LOL

Diakite is swiss cheese.

Gianccherini seems to have problems playing simple passes, strange for a short Italian.

Altidore, did okay in Holland, he still has a lot to prove in England, and his last road test was a disaster.

Borini IS a top player you will see, Diakite is a rock, Giaccherini is a class act god he's had three games, Altidore and fletch upfront will be unstoppable. Ki is also a top signing and caluska looks good too.

surprised pardew hasn't resigned, I would hate to be in his position, no signings, no money to spend, the only signing we have made is a new tea lady!

The man who said he had the last word who would be bought should be doing any explaining why we have not built up the side.
Lets see if he has the guts to resign as clearly he is the man that has failed not AP.

No because it came to sunderland as we signed 2 players more than you and made 6+m for a player who had one good game in 6, not bad business for us!

Loads of signings with no quality just means bigger wages, bigger dept, bigger whole than the titanic, your going to sink faster than leeds

3rd poster has got it spot on.

If they go down with that squad they will not be able to shift most of those players, meaning they will have to sell the only good players and keep the bad ones, guaranteeing years in the Championship.

What a disgrace. These bunch of amatuers that run us are slowly ruining our club. I for one will not be purchasing any more bloody merchandise while this shower of s*** continues. His lack of support in our club is outrageous.

How many more times does it have to be said? Just don't go for two or three games and for those bleeding hearts who say 'but it'll do the players no good'- give me a break.

The window is not closed yet but we know nobody is coming and have done the majority of us for sometime. I hope Pardew can find some new lies to try and put a positive spin on things. I know we kept Cabeye. Just like a new signing. Talk of boycott and the such like is to late. If we do it now it will effect the team and nothing can be done once the window shuts. Boycotts should have been done before the season started. West ham and Fulham home games were the perfect opportunity. Horse has bolted as they say.

safc fan in peace what is going on at your football club?im an ardent mackem fan, and I really do bleed for your true fans spending fortunes on season tickets and away travelling to see a team which scraped relegation by the skin of its teeth, and still nothing added to your squad, I know pdc got about a hundred players in and it will take time to settle, but at least the board is trying for the club and its supporters, anyway good luck for the season, and let's just hope we both survive this term. tk73

Short version. Club is and always has been up for sale. Ashley clawing back as much as he can to buy Rangers. He even lauded Cabeye on his sports channel claiming interest for Man u to tempt other clubs. Desperate times ahead.

& MOST of us know that
The criminality is Ashley has a boat load of
cash from the club so far this season and seeks 18 million more on top this season in drawings
60m spent on players & 60m in so why mention it

If you pay your money it goes to Ashley and
gives Joker a job but mugs keep on doing it

Vuckic
Bigirimara
Anita
Haidara
Dan Gosling
Abeid

Bigirimara will feature in the future I can imagine, as he seems to be a fantastic prospect. But the rest are around 24, and could easily play in other decent clubs.

Run outs every now and then is not good enough, if I was a player who was on the bench constantly, I would try seek a club for first team football.

When was the last time anita played for the reserves? never

Haidara, bigirimana, vuckic, anita will get a lot of game time. amalfitano and gosling should just be sold and abeid loaned

Yes i'm a Newcastle fan and noticed we don't seem to be doing much so thought i'd have a quick read on the sunderland page. everyone on about sess going. now am I mistaken or was he not supposedly one of there better players now from what I remember doesn't he play upfront/left wing, or is he an attacking midfielder. either way they are saying around 5million. would he not be worth a shout even just to piss them off and actually think he would do a job for us. Just a thought. don't slate me for it. I know how daft it sounds us even getting a player in. but I think this would make me chuckle if it happened. specially if he then went and popped up with a goal against them. how old is he anyway?

Ok i'm not going to slate you! He's 29 and incredibly inconsistent! 5million is way too much for someone like sessegnon. i'd be alright if we got him on a free but he'd be a bench warmer or reserves warmer! have they got lamela, insigne yet? LOL

Thanks for not slating me. and agree. I wouldn't of had him down as a first team player but in marveux we have a similar player I guess only younger and can improve. stll think it would be funny. though. on a free would be good business.

We've got 2 strong squads aswell as having players like sammy gosling haidara also at the club. With no European football this year, we'll have less injuries (hopefully) and players will be less fatigued. Signings aren't the most important thing, a team that plays well together is what we need and Saturday proved that.

Pardew. Its a bit early for your excuses. The window has not shut yet! Seriously though mate. Give your head a shake. We have one decent forward and one creative midfield player. Any injuries and we are in serious trouble.
