can't stop thinking our season is over, all because we never purchased a centre back, other teams no its weak and worse so does our mid field, that dare not attack due to covering, hence long balls. Is there nobody we can get on loan ? or even try young ausie lad we got cos williamson, say no more

Will struggle for top ten now that flash in the pan cisse is found to be a average player,BA will be gone january,pardew 8 year contract lol gurantee of no success for the next 8 years although that was expected anyway.

Out the capital one cup already,fa cup slim chance although you never know nufc where in consecutive finals not long ago.

Europa lucky if get out the group stages and won't last long with small squad in knockouts,especially once champions league clubs who fail in the group stages join europa.

So yeah trophy wise season is probably over although you never know maybe being out the league cup you can compete better in other competitions.

You may win Tyne and wear cup by winning the derby.( nufc and safc should play for a cup in this match so you both have a chance of guaranteed silverwear,forest and derby play for brian cough cup)

Mate, our season has hardly started. Let's hope that middle east owner jamal al kazemi buys NUFC, he said on twitter he was seriously thinking of buying us. That would be when our starts. But to start our season under ashley, we need to beat those top 4 and bottom half teams, starting with man united. God if we has al kazemi we could really go forward. {Ed002's Note -

Newcastle let the fans down its what they do and they are great at it.Newcastle will never win anything ever but the fans will still turn up in their droves through pure passion.

I think trophy wise the season is over but i never expect trophies anyway so i aint bothered.
Hope Newcastle can claim some scalps and win the derby thats a good season.
Overachieved last season with a fair share of luck although cisse and momentum helped from january,luck has continued this season but cisse and momentum has not and a lack of quality is apparent at the moment.

Newcastle don't always 'let the fans down' - it's comments like that which have made our club a laughing stock for the last 10 years, barring, oh wait, the last couple of years under Pardew and, yes, a seemingly newly responsible Ashley. We don't have a right to win trophies nor do we have the right to spend the owner's money without a thought to how this is going to be maintained. I know this isn't a popular view but you/we are not OWED a trophy - it would be brilliant and we all hope we get one but get off the team's back.
