Firstly, I am not 'Mad Max'. Also why wouldn't 'slip slip sliding away' not work in the English Language? Rhetorical question (a question that does not require a reply) and before one of you try 'rhetorical page', it has been used once and failed then so move on.

Mainly because by saying slip slip.....your implying a build up to a following word thats to follow in the same suit then changing it which doesnt make sense! rhetorical doesnt come into it at all! by using this word in your post its an attempt to come across as educated but all its done is blow up in your face by using it out of context! would still be slip slip slipping away! it goes against the english language to change a doing working word to another when your build up was implying another term! works in poems when words have the same meaning but not in text!

Best not doing it and ben arfa an attacking midfeilder so time for change! shola probably the best bet that we have on our books unless we promote a youth player like phil airey! shola may not be a prolific striker but he does score here and there so id play him against man utd cos there defence depleted at the minute and think the height of shola and ba will cause problems for them!
