Just been on Liverpool Banter. God they are boring - going on and on and on. Not one gives any credit to Newcastle for yesterday.

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Why would people give credit to a team that cheated their way to win? and also gave a boyhood newcastle fan and now a liverpool player hell for 90mins! he bottled scoring past you but I think if he gets his head down and concentrates on football instead of who he supports I think he won't make that mistake again. {Ed001's Note - I must be missing something, weren't Newcastle winning before Reina got sent off? We got a hiding, just accept it with good grace and congratulate Newcastle on a deserved win.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Wasn't it me but didn't simpson blatent handball on the line happen? which should of resulted in a red card and a penalty to liverpool, not to mention perch and his pathetic sportsmanship, also thought cisses 2nd was offside but the linesman couldn't see properly with the sun in his face hence why he missed the handball on the line aswell, liverpool are a shambles at the moment and were there for the taking, only credit I will give is to cisse who took both his chances well. that is all! I don't blame liverpool fans who feel cheated by your players, actually feel sorry for carroll aswell, he didn't deserve the reception he got by your fans! {Ed001's Note - so a linesman not spotting an offside is Newcastle's fault? The handball on the line was the only thing really worthy of a moan.}

I think the system we are using now will be the one we look to build on with our signings in the summer. There is pace and power coupled with skill and we have looked very strong like this.

I think with a few summer signings we could have a real push for champs league next year....we will not be anywhere near favourites to get it but we will give ourselves a chance if we have a bit more quality within the squad.

We are still in with a outside go at champions lo arsenals slip they are 2 points ahead, with tough fixtures, and robin van persie has gone pretty quiet....

Agree0 Disagree2

It won't happen and I'm glad cause our squad not strong enough in depth to compete in that competition yet. Mind you the money would help and it would help attract top players ,on second thoughts lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Chelsea man city everton last 3 games dont think arsenal have a run in like that

Agree0 Disagree0

Hard game at swansea friday aswell, they no pushovers and play some great football

Sunderland fan in peace have 2 questions for you lot. First is am I right in thinking ba has been pushed out of things since cisse showed up and secondly what is pardew thinking comparing ben arfa to messi

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Ba hasn't been pushed out, team game and he is contributing that way. No doubt the goals will flow again soon enough. Reference BA/Messi. Thought it was Cisse who said the stuff BA does in training is like what Messi does. What is wrong with that?

Agree0 Disagree0

Dunno if you've seen Ben Arfa play, the ball sticks to his feet just like messi. obviously messi is 1000039483x better though.

Agree2 Disagree0

It says on bbc sport that he compared ben.arfa with messi. I didnt mean pushed out completely it just seems a lot of your chances go to cisse whereas they were all for ba before cisse came

Agree1 Disagree0

Perhaps that's because Cisse is playing the central striking role and Ba is playing from the left and also providing the link between midfield and attack.

Agree3 Disagree0

Ba is playing the role he played at his previous club in germany, he did well there and goals will come with time.

Agree1 Disagree0

Really are these serious questions? First just to put you mind at ease, no one said he was messi, its a comparison of playing style not quality. As for BA he is just playing a deeper/wider role, on a winning side. And just to be clear even if Ba doesn't score again this season (which he will) he is still far more successful than any Sunderland striker ;)

Agree1 Disagree1

He played there for Hoffenheim and did really well .He's been close to scoreing a few times but is helping Cisse get goals at the moment .I think he is a very unselfish player in that regard.
