Use our rumours form to send us newcastle transfer rumours.

stoke were quite useless, so what does that say about us. I turned to my mrs after 55 mins and said "I wish he would bring Obertan on" she replied surely it can't be that desperate. It was worse than that

we have no defensive structure
we have no attacking plan
We have no passion
We look like a relegation team

If we don't move now and get rid of Pardew then we will go down, if we wait until christmas it will be too late
I will not critisize whoever they get because anyone will be an improvment on what we have.

one very sad lad

I read something on sky by Gary neville. Poor pardew wasn't backed to sign PL experienced players. So why give two of your better players away for nowt gary?

Agree0 Disagree0

Message from Ashley Newcastle fans have got what they have been given be happy
This team can't pass a ball take a free kick and are easily outplayed out thought and overun by run of the mill opostion players

Obertan Sammy and Cisse did OK when they came on and that in itself shows how poor this team is

If Pardew was a horse he would have been put down by now he has created a less than mid table Championship side

Football as we know it does not exist at Newcastle United Pardew is only part of the problem

Agree0 Disagree0

Pardew may very well be tactically inept, but we have 1 recognized no. 9 that is not in good form. The newbies have not settled in and are short of confidence. Cabella loses the ball too easily and clearly needs to bulk up. Riviere is no target man he needs someone to link up with. Sissoko was poor yesterday didn't track and close down Moses before the cross (which was lucky because he didn't look up once). De Jong is injured and was supposed to play as a supporting striker and set-piece taker. The passing was atrocious yesterday, gave the ball away far too easily.
I would like to see Pardew go 442 against swansea to give us some structure and give the defence more support and hopefully have better build-up play. I would also like him to give some of the man of the match dead-wood at the club a chance and remind the usual first teamers that they are not automatic selections.

The team I would like to see;

Krul
Janmaat, Taylor, Coloccini, (haidara or dummet)
Obertan, sissoko, colback, ameobi
Cisse and Riveire

Haidara and dummet have both played to the same levels in my opinion but I think haidara is better technically.
Put sissoko back where he belongs in the middle (engine room) driving at the centre backs and put some local lads in the form of ameobi and taylor for some fight in the team.
Give obertan a chance at least he can cross.
Hopefully pardew will notice colback can't cross and use janmaat or dummett to take corners.

I honestly think pardew is doing the best he can with what he has. why he let HBA and YB go is beyond me but a net spend of 200K is so poor.

I for 1 would like to see Andy Carroll play in the B&White again. He has never been the same since he left and I believe he never wanted to go.

The worst that could happen is we start scoring some goals from set pieces!!!!!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Dickie Keep the faith. reading what you write could have come from Pardew trying to convince Ashley he can turn it around

Pardew out now, a new manager in so he can work with the players during the international break. Not just pardew, the entire back room staff has to go.
Stoke outclassed us, and I believe we have got the better squad.
Pathetic!!!
Now come the excuses, players injured, siem, santon and aarons, if we get them back. And so on.
This game defensively we looked ok, but no cutting edge to score goals, hoofing into the area where all the Stoke players are tall, that's how technically sound our team was.
Always support the team, but I have to say the entire coaching staff has to be re shuffled.
My bet is on Neil Lennon.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - It would be sheer madness for MA to appoint NL. A) he isn't a good manager, and B) it would really harm his standing with The Rangers fans which in turn would affect sales of The Rangers merchandise, their fans would be screaming for boycotts of Sports Direct.}

Another manager from you JT thought its obvious to you now Ashley does not want anyone who can stand up to him (Lennon is no good just like Mowbray was no good ay Boro) only someone who can make this team this season and every season a mid table team and whoever whenever or IF who comes in will have to accept that

The hill gets steeper next 2 matches will be Pardews last

OK lads another non performance, obertan looked our most dangerous player, says it all really.

Mike Ashleys face at the end had a look of a dilema, lose face or lose 70 m in TV money.

I would say that Pardew could be sacked for gross negligence by continuing to play 4 2 3 1 - it clearly doesn't work.

Is Steve Clarke worth a shot? He did a decent job with west brom. He has also some experience at SJP.

Knowing ashley we'll get fix it felix from fulham and a pound of cheddar!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

If he gets better from his condition then i'd like to see Oscar Garcia given a chance. Got brighton playing some very nice football, has his own coaching setup, believes in replicating the barca philosophy, and has the experience of working under Johan Cruyiff.

He may not have much experience but I think he's one of those hidden gems, what did Pochettino do before going to southampton? Finish 10th in la Liga with espanyol and that was it.

We need a manager that can employ a style and identity for the long term benefit, my top choice is De Boer, we'll have to wait and see what happens

Agree0 Disagree0

JT I know we are all desperate but how many managers now have you suggested?

Keep on going mate as eventually you might come across one name that takes over however none of them will be proven managers who will be allowed to manage.

Like you it's desperation for all of us fans.

Did I read on here that some people think the negative posts are spoiling their dream and their glass is half full.

Well have you woken up yet. This team is absolutely hopeless and Stoke are not much better but Newcastle made them look s decent team.

Entrenched in the bottom 3 from now until January at the very earliest get used to it.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Vida you can't be as direct as that Fans still have faith But it beats me as to how
The team is like a rudderless ship & it will run aground
All we can look for is who else will be relegated with Newcastle & Burnley.

That's got to be Pardew gone.

The amount of players under performing is unbelievable

Riviere too lightweight. Goufran, apart from nearly giving the penalty, has contributed little. Lots of possession but no real threat, one shot on target.
If we get beat tonight, let's hope Ashley has a great punchline to his joke, a P45 for Pardew.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Yes, for a manager supposebly fighting for his job I see nothing brave. no change in formation, like for like subs. It is a joke. When will we sign a player who can take a corner?

Agree0 Disagree0

We are s. te & deserve to be where we are 1-0 was flattering Stoke looked head and shoulders above this team
snd they are a poor team

What sensible fans predicted prior to the start of the season is coming true

There is no way out of this spiral
New manager may make a temporary difference but you can't plug this awful defence no playmaker and pathedtic strikers
Having said that Cisee got no service
& Obertan looked OK so that is how bad these no hopers are

Agree0 Disagree0

Desree

change that to when will we get some coaches to train the players on how to take a corner!

Pardew, Carver, Stones, Woodman all need to go.

Time to get some proper modern coaches

Agree0 Disagree0

Jtoon, you can't blame a coach for a professional player not being able to take a corner.

Agree0 Disagree0

Desree the fact that we've scored like 2 corners out of like 200+ something says it all

keep picking the same losers and you will. Lose

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Based on the first half this team is shocking and deserves a drubbing

Half hearted they along with Pardew shpuld be ashamed
45 mins to go we can only hope

Agree0 Disagree0

Great fightback in the second-half though Art!

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes Des & nothing happened we should have lost 4-0 that's how bad this team is.
