Use our rumours form to send us newcastle transfer rumours.

I think there is a good chance we will lose tomorrow because of AP's inability to make tough decisions. We had it last season with Ba who he knew wanted to leave yet sacrificed Cisse's position and subsequent confidence and form to try an keep a player happy who wanted to go. We now have the same again with Collo. Don't get me wrong he is a good player but we have a central defensive partnership that keeps clean sheets against Chelsea and then Spurs and then he changes it to accommodate Collo and we concede against Norwich. Norwich FFS! yes I know Debuchy was injured but my point is that Debuchy is back tomorrow and MbWia will be dropped when he has been superb recently and what sort of message does that send out to the squad. lay when we need you but no matter how well you do I will drop you when one of my favourites is available again? Collo wants out and could well go in January so let him sit on the bench and let MbWia flourish so it is easier to take when Collo eventually does go.
I hope I am wrong.

My Team:

Krull
Debuchy Williamson Mbwia Santon

Sissoko Cabaye Tiote Gouffran

Remy Shola

Spire Toon think we best leave selection to Pardew as he has not done too badly recently and yes it is a big decision but I don't think one player will lead to us loosing as we have played with 10 men in a lot of games this season whilst Cisse was playing.

I agree with your team, but we will see what the team selection is tomorrow, hopefully he will have realised that colo was poor and will replace him with debuchy. However pardew has done very well, you say he struggles to make big decisions, he's dropped Ben Arfa 3 or 4 times this season?!

And. was the selection right or not?

3 points says it all!

It has been suggested as many as 5/6 players could be sold in January whilst their value is at a high

I think most of us know who they would be
Like people have
suggested on here replacement players are
being lined up. So expect a lot of names over the next few weeks.

Ashley will be lining his pickets again
as figures will show possibly half the money in
will be spent

Whilst most clubs would try and build on a
decent position in the league thus fool
looks at what money he can make.
Early doors yet but this suggestion would not
surprise most Newcastle fans.

Watching our team in hope rather than expectancy seems to be the difference between Newcastle and other Premiership teams.

With Ashley who advocated a 5 year plan (passed) which has yet to be seen in terms of a challenging club

This team we have Possibly need 3 quality players to make a realistic challenge on the top 6 but it seems we will never see it under Ashley who seems intent on making even more money out of this club but that probably will be seen in January and perhaps we will all be wrong but I don't think so.

How about we just enjoy it while we can instead of posting doom and gloom all the time. yes we all know what might happen. but then it could be worse. if we are managing with what we have then what does that say about all the others that are not doing so well. we might sell our so called better players but who says those that step in won't some how manage to perform as we are now. To be honest although some of our big hitters are doing well for us it seems to be the players we would usually all be slating that have stepped up.

Vida: from past experience it is clear that Ashley won't sell any of our top players unless a massive offer is made. There are no grounds for thinking that Cabaye, for example, will be sold for £15m - that figure was just plucked out of the air by a lazy journo and repeated around the blogs. Cabs and Krul are both under contract and Ashley won't cave in even if they go on strike to try to force a move.

Nick what Doom & Gloom commenting on what the media reports & what is heard from those that know more than most fans know is what this website is all about
Not long to wait & perhaps then we will see where we are which will be positive negative or treading water
But don't assume because reports are not flattering to us as you put it is Doom & Gloom

Agree0 Disagree0

Vic we will see it is all superstition anyway
Players seem to be being lined up personally I think Cabaye will go you may remember the club letting him listen into the Arsenal offer as will Krull if the right offer comes in
Santon Jonas Cisse HBA may all be on other clubs radar

As has been suggested it does not mean will not sign some as good players only that the beneficiary in the transactions will be in Ashley's favour.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree nik and vic

Surprising JT you have mentioned numerous players linked with NUFC and we can only play 11 so it suggests there are players that will be sold
Not that long to wait & we will see but it is a chance to see if MA is taking this seriously or loves his money more

Problem is no one knows and we have more chance speaking to the tea lady than anyone connected with NUFC
