Even if you had waited for their equaliser why didnt you start disrupting the game with subs....everyone (except Alan) knows a home team get an equaliser and the crowd lift them and they will push on...what do you do...make three subs with a couple of mins between each one to break up the game

We are known as a European club and played in champions league twice.

I think it might be a little over said saying we a known champions league club but we still played in it unlike the knockers little club who are not exactly wowing Europe and haven't for as long as I can remember

I can't believe how many people want Pardew out. When he was appointed, I admit I wasn't happy. However, last year we played some great football and won games maybe we shouldn't have. This year was always going to be tough given we are in Europe and we have had injures and suspensions to deal with. I would agree at Pardew needs to go back to playing the 433 formation which worked last year, however sacking him now is stupid another manger will still face the same problems! We need a centre half to play alongside Collo, personally speaking I would sell Ba as If he is not willing to play for the team then screw him! There are better players than Ba. Also I think its time for Jones to go as he is not playing well and seems very leggy at the moment. I hope that January will bring some new faces in and some old faces out. The team to get use through at the moment given injuries would be:
Krul
Simpson, Williamson, Collo, Stanton
Little Tiote, Anita, Big Tiote
Sami Ameboi, Cisse, Ba (on the left)

When everyone is fit it should be

Krul
Simpson, Williamson, Collo, Stanton
Big Tiote, Cabs, Anita

Williamson is better than Steven Taylor. The only other option is to play Perch with Collo until we get someone else. Also I dont hear anyone criticising Collo when he make mistakes.....which he does.

I watched the game last night and again was disappointed with what I saw. It was not so much the poor performance, but again I am left baffled by the team selection. I know we were at Stoke away, and I did not expect good football, more of a bashing from their players, but the first half both teams where league 1 at best, both trying the long ball hoof with no decent movement, but I expected better. The second half things slightly improved, we scored! but again our passing was shocking. Our poor passing has cost us the last 4 matches without doubt.

The only decent player we had on the pitch was Anita who ran everywhere; the lad is class and is a decent signing. The rest of the team played badly. We did create chances again, but out finishing was off which meant we were unable to close the game out. Also, why Maveaux or Obertan were not playing is beyond me, for me either players pace would have caused them issues and they like West Ham, like Swansea, like Southampton were there for the taking and again we have dropped 3 points.

I have said before that I am concerned about the team performance, but as we are still creating chances, I know that eventually we will start to find the net and then win games. Just think if we had won the last 4 matches we would be 5th or something!

I am not really into listing players that we should be selling, but last night I felt that Simo and Jonas were really poor and Tiote's passing was shocking. If these 3 go in January then there will be no loss there. And before the Tiote brigade jump on me, he is playing badly and the position he plays in can be more easily replaced than HBAs or Cabayes. We would or should get around 20 mil for him, maybe 2 for simo and maybe 2 for jonas. Those funds would mean we can bring in the likes of Debuchy, Sissoko and a striker and maybe another MF?

I really hope that like last January we spend in the window, otherwise it will be a long long season of looking at the fixtures and wondering where out next win will come from. Hopefully, and I say hopefully we can change things Monday night with a win. Hopefully Santon will play RB and then maybe young Fergi can play LB, and maybe Marveux and Ober will get a game on the wings, with Anita and Tiote in the middle and the 2 big men up front. OOSH

I just want to say, well done my fellow geordies or geordie fans. You sang ur hearts out at stoke. I could here u all night! As we always we fill our home and away seats trying to get behind the team. Bit what do we get? We got hoof over the top and the opposition score on the counter attack with nice passing, attacking football. So what does pardew repay us with? Nothing. Feel free to make a loud sigh or boo or something in the next few matches whenever we play the longball. We want to try and get a message to pardew that we dont want to see the horrible long ball, coz all the opposition do is pluck it out the air and humiliate us on how to play nice football.

would love to see Anita at right back again Simpson is shocking and just shows with our two mildly creative players in marveux and sammy on the bench yeh maybe they do give the ball away a bit but so does hba yet that doesn't get mentioned cause he's brilliant when on it and I know they aren't at his standard but how are we supposed to create chances with really a cb or cm in perch and a cdm in tiote and a player that looks good in the back four but out of place in the midfield in Anita

Its defo NOT ashley telling pardew to play the long ball. its pardew himself. It must be.. why else does Tim Krul constanly hoof the ball up the field?

Has nothing to do with the post and not sure it is pardew tbh Williamson has done it under every manager just quality of player maybe don't see collocini playing many and what is Krul meant to do when he's got a striker chasing him down and no passes he can play try and beat the player? think atm we don't have the team to pass the ball from the back not got the quality so I would do the same as Krul in his position and try to pick out a target man
