Drop obertan on the right to help simpson, as mata is more likely to affect down the chelsea left. not sure what we can do on the left, guthrie deserves to start, with possibly sammy coming on later.

I'd play sami on the left with taylor - or even put HBA on the left and stick the 2 big men up front.

However it is likely to be lovenkrands on the left.

Sammy's more likely to get a start on the wing than lovenkrands. Look at the starting line-up vs city for proof.

I think we could see Ryan Taylor playing on one of the wings - most likely right - to help out Simmo when he cant cope with Mata. and i dont think Pardew is the kind of guy to just drop him out of the team after doing such a good job in hi un natural position.

Newcastle scouts were at the Sochaux vs Montpieller game on saturday and the two players we're looking at played really well...Oliver Giroud being one of them bagged a Hat-Trick and Yanga-Mbiwa played solid at the back. Snap both of them up Pardew! Keep the french revolution going!

Admittedley i'd never heard of him before but i fear this Giroud fella is getting far too much publicity at the moment........ chelsea, arsenal, liverpool and tottenham all apparently in the market for new strikers too............

We need to get him signed asap before the big clubs do!
He's better in the air than Carroll and a goal poacher but he has some skill aswell check out his overhead kicks.
