I'd like to see this team next year:

Krul

Debuchy Taylor Mbiwa Santon

Cabaye Sissoko

Ben Arfa De jong Aubameyang

Cisse

INs
Aubameyang 12m
Siem De Jong 9m
Lukoki 3m
Jores Okore 4m
Kurt Zouma 3m
De Guzman 5m
Lukaku Loan
OUTs
Tiote 10m
Coloccini
Simpson
Williamson 1m

Believable6 Unbelievable0

£3m for Zouma? Do you realise how highly he's rated?

Agree0 Disagree1

10 for Tiote, are you on about us signing a new one for ten million

or

selling the one we have now for ten million

If your on about selling the one we have, not a chance in hell will we get ten for him. Look at him;
he picks up too many cards
he makes stupid tackles in stupid places without even given a thought to what he is doing
he tries to run the ball out of our own area thinking he's Messi and loses it.

No team in their right minds will think about paying 5 for him never mind 10

I know Newcastle can pull the impossible off with selling people
Like Carroll we sold him for 35million, but he had a good championship season with us and knocked in 12 before Christmas when we sold him

Titote has 38 cards behind him!

Agree0 Disagree2

Some russian club or german club will easily buy tiote for 10m, we will sell him for 10m no less.

Add to the outs:
obertan 3m
harper release
inman release
abeid release
newton release

Try and get in puncheon as well, he's been very impressive for southampton, he's out of contract in the summer anyway.

Our form since the new signings has been rather strange, we seemed okish with the new signings away to aston villa but as soon as we just get 1 or 2 players injured we start to slump. Our home form has been quite formidable after the reading game, we seem very dangerous, attacking and just seem to play with more freedom, but when we play away, pardew appears to set the team up so the wingers push very far back but the midfielders stay where they are. Take these losses where we were unlucky:
(a) man u 3-4-We could of won that game easily with debuchy, sissoko, m'biwa.
(a) 1-2 stoke-again with a stronger defence we would of won.
(a) arsenal-might of got a point but again the defence let us down.
(h) everton 1-2-Should of won that, but we seemed really dangerous in the first half an hour but until we concede, we get panicky and play hoofball.

I sort of do but I don't on how we keep losing stupid games, how can we come so close to beating man u but get well beaten by everton at home?
This is what's happened with the results and our formations before the new signings came: (Inc. injuries)
442: WLDDWDLD WLLLL
433: DWLLWLLL
442 First 8 games: 10pts
433 first 8 games: 7pts (bearing in mind those losses to man u, arsenal everton etc. )
With new signings:
4231:WWLWLWL: 12pts in 7 games
Its not just the injuries and lack of spending that have destroyed our season, its the 442 that pardew was obsessed that it would work plus ba wanted to play through the middle and pardew wanted to keep both ba and cisse happy.

But if you think about it for where we are in the table, our form is pretty up and down but it has dramatically improved with 4 wins and 3 losses. But what we need to do is pick up our away form to recover this season (If we can) and get 10th, could we be surprised tomorrow, it depends on how the team turns up and how pardew sets them up.

I don't know why I brought this up, but I was just trying to work it out on how we've done crap this season.

Believable7 Unbelievable0

Wba stoke Chelsea last minute winners everton last minute equaliser swings and roundabouts mate if it wasn't for these goals ye would be 7pts lighter

Agree0 Disagree1

Only the Wba goal was lucky, we haven't got any luck all season.

Who'd like to see us move for Abou Diaby? 26 decent age, cost about 4m and about 50k wages. Controls the midfield very well, good defending and attacking threat. Decent player I think.

Believable3 Unbelievable1

He's out for nine months I think

Agree3 Disagree0

Yer and he averages out 11 games a season.

Did you know he was injury prone?

50K a week, year mate, a player like that gets offered a okay to pay contract. We'd never go for him, because he can't keep his rubbish together, not even for half a season {Ed001's Note - he is on a fair bit more than that anyway, he was on 50k before getting a new improved contract.}

Agree0 Disagree1

No but ed, don't you agree with me? When diaby is fit, he's a very solid midfielder and controls the game well I think? {Ed001's Note - when is he ever fit though? Pointless signing a player who spends more of the season on the sidelines than in the team.}

Agree2 Disagree2

I would rather take Hargreaves on a play as you play contract than Diaby.

They would average about the same amount of games, only we would not have to pay Hargreaves for playing his Xbox.

Come on lads, it's getting close enough to start the banter, no fletcher, catomole, no to try and kick tiote, surly they will be slayed AGAIN! Or is that the obvious! By the way always felt m o'neil was finished a while back, can only motivate short term, when that's gone so is he, tactically not good enough

Believable1 Unbelievable2

Clubs saying tiote's a doubt for the derby match m8. geordie tom

I find luke warm porridge more interesting than Sunderland.
