Caulker gone to QPR. Aubameyang won't come to us anyway

Milan finished 8th in Seri A so they are not in any European competition never mind the CL. They are also skint, full of average players, play in front of mediocre crowds most of the time and play in an average league so why should the be more of a draw than us for Grenier? If he come to us he knows if he performs he can either play in Europe with us if we do well or if he does personally then his profile will rocket and he will get his move to a more ambitious club playing in Europe. Same goes for Lacazette, if he wants CL he is more likely to get that move raising his profile in the PL than in Ligue 1 with Lyon. Sad to say but we are stepping stone club, a feeder club for the really rich big boys as we have no chance of ever making the CL again now, we had a chance after we finished 5th but missed it by not investing at the time and we are now behind the big four plus Man Utd/Tottingham and probably even Everton as they have a much better manager.

We are I think in between 12th and 8th
Which will mean good players will not stay
A quality Striker & CB could propell us to 6th if only they could be signed

Delussional post. Milan are far more attractive than newcastle in every single aspect.

Dismissive undetailed and lazy post desree. If you are going to call me delusional then back it up with a reasoned argument otherwise you are just being abusive.

I have to agree with spire on this one, Premier league is miles more attractive than the serie A, and as you state Milan aren't in the CL, so we stand a good chance if we were in competition with them

I'm not aiming to be offensive lads, I am sure if you asked anyone outside of Newcastle they would disagree. Remy chose QPR over newcastle to be in London. I'm sorry lads but if we think players are attracted to playing in front of 50. 00 fans who spend the majority of their time booing their own players then I wouldn't say NUFC are an attractive option over Milan. We have made some great signings so far but let's face it even before Mike Ashley we struggled to attract the right kind of foreign player as they all wanted to play in London. I am sure the PL is a more attractive option, I just can't support the idea that any player would choose NUFC over Milan and I would base that on a look at the signings both teams have made over the last 10 years.
