Tiote has been a liability this season, anything over 10million we should take it no questions asked. Bigirimana is developing very nice and could start week in week out imho.
Provided we spend big in january on defenders and a pacey winger/striker we'll be just fine.
We all know the reputation of Cashley though.
Despite our dismal form we'll still finish above the Mackems, which is just a given I suppose...

Ive said this a least 4 times Pardew is hopeless when it comes to subs first sub after about 60 mins Cisse Off (didnt do a thing) Sami on.......next simpson off Tarverier on 3rd sub too late its 6 .3

Its only a game, a bottle of broon or two and a couple of hours in the huff and everything will be all allright.
I believe pardew dose the coaching of the defence, but we are desprate for cb with top class exprience to back up colo, dare i say if chelsea want rid of john terry pay him what he wants! or go for lescost even if these d us to end of season to keep us up

Absolutely awful defending yet again today. Simpson mostly but also Santon getting caught out of position time andtime again.
Tiote did nothing to help the defence today , caught on the ball and wayward passing again , well off the boil imo.

After the loss against arsenal it proves that we need a cb. we can score goals and don't forget our creative players r.taylor, ben arfa, cabaye and anita are injured i would rather spend 10m on a cb rather than a striker. the more expensive the cb the more better he is e.g. coloccini 10.3m where as williamson 1m he would you choose. but this january we need to spend big and i mean at least 20m. you think we don't have that much money but we do, isn't it suspecious newcastle haven't released there financial records why? are they gonna surprise us with the spending in january. we definately should of signed debuchy as simpson CANNOT F***ING CROSS. And everyone saying we need to sell Ba our season is over. get rid of tiote for 17m and replace him with sissoko.

17m for Tiote? Where do we sign!? I think his performances this season will have seen his value plummet. The £12m being bandied about in the summer, which were apparently turned down, now seem in hindsight seem very generous. I'd certainly welcome the signings you say but if it is on the back of a big Tiote payday then I very much doubt it will happen.

If this does not get across to Ashley what we have been saying since last season I do not know what will.
We need Debuchy and a Centreback, we should sell Tiote if funds need to be raised, he is far too erratic on the ball.
Everytime Tiote gets the ball at his feet you have no idea what is going to happen next.

Unreal, Tiote is surpassing himself. He does not know what to do everytime he gets the ball.
Tiote gets the ball trapped in his feet which leads to Arsenals third goal.

Not a huge fan of Lescott's but if we can't get a quality centre half in January transfer window would he be a good loan option until end of season, seasoned Permiership defender to partner Collo. Personally, I hope that what is obvious to all us fans is Ashley loosens the purse strings and buys Sakho, Debuchy a midfielder and stiker (two if Ba goes).
What a great opportunity missed this season if only we had strengthened and improved the squad last summer. Take away Man Utd and city all other top teams apart from Everton have had various problems this season. Chelski second manager already, Spurs new manager , Liverpool poor, Arsenal inconsistant. Could this explain why teams like Stoke, Swansea, Norwich (still wished we had Houghton as our manager) and West Brom etc are having a better season than us. Ok injuries haven't helped but that just emphasises the need for a bigger more experienced squad. Europe is no excuse we have mainly used fringe players (some clearly not ready yet).
If we can get him, I think Lescott would be a great signing to add a bit of solidity to our back line.
I'd like to see us get a younger CB such as Sakho, Yanga M'biwa etc as well. Lescott is a seasoned premiership defender and take the pressure off a younger player during the bedding in period.
I also think a big, solid, pacey central midfielder would be useful in shoring up the spine of the team and releasing the creative players.
By the way, what happened to Erik Pieters after his injury cleared up? Anyone know what his current form is like?

Mertesacker is about as quick of the mark as a dump truck, I would like to see Cisse playing more central today, he should be able to maul Mertesacker if Arsenal playing a high line.
Williamson being out could be a blessing in disguise, we do not need much height against Walcott playing upfront, Perch is better suited to keeping an eye on Walcott.
