has anyone seen what french side Monpellier said about us today?, Apparently Giourd will not be moving to Newcastle because we are a too small side.

He's right Giroud should be playing for a Champions League.

Meaning newcastle havent got the money they want.

Arsenal been quoted 42 million for him! we are "too small" to pay that cos its ludicrous money!

Montpellier chairman now saying it was lost in translation and he saying NUFC are too smart for giroud and by that he means they too smart to pay the money! all though we all know 42 million is out of our reach!

He could sell the likes of Shola, Best, Lovenkrads and Simo and get somewhere between 12 - 15 mil if not more. Then spend the 35 mil and buy some players of class

Anyone thinking fat ash will spend in jan is a fool his only ambition for us is to keep us in the PL so we have the ability to attract decent players looking to make a name for themselves then flog them to the highest bidder, Tiote will be gone this window, Krul, Ba, Santon, Cabaye, HBA, Marveaux, Obertan, Sameobi, Vuckic will all follow in good time, being replaced by players good enough to keep us in this division for year after year until Ashley eventually sells up after making his money back, get real people and realise our owner doesnt give two hoots about us or europe, the easier way to make money is to buy cheap and sell em on after 2-3 seasons of relativly low wages, think about it, theres a reason we havent spent over 5 mil on a player in a long time, Tiote 3.5mil 40k (ish) p/w 2.5 seasons, sell him for 15mil = 7.1 million pound profit (again ish) in 2 and a half years, similar figures for cabaye, obertan, krul, even more for Marveaux, ba etc, all makes very good business sense, and equals mediocre mid table finishes for us fans, most people wont like this post but lets face it folks, its the truth and im as p**sed off as the rest about it. Ashley sold Carrol for 35mil (Dagliesh would sell him for less if he could get over 20mil) We are better off withou Nolan and Barton so that leaves Jose Enrique and he wanted to go and we would have lost him sooner than later...So in the transfer market what has Ashley done wrong

Well he's not getting us cover in for Ba so he's got that wrong. And don't tell me Best ,Shola or Lovers gonna score a bag full ,they won't. Our only hope is Benny or a few Raylor free kicks for 3 or more weeks.

So we were prepared to fork out 6/7 mil (a LOT more than we have spent under this regime) for a striker, but now its fallen through, all of a sudden we no longer need a striker?
Hopefully Pardew is just doing the opposite of what he did last transfer window, i.e. begin by saying that we wont be buying anyone, then buy players, instead of saying we'll be buying players but not
