Use our rumours form to send us newcastle transfer rumours.

Sorry to all the SMB's but there is as much chance of Sunderland getting relegated as there is Newcastle going down and neither will do and when we went it was a one off now we have alot more stability than we did then so why don't you judge at the end of the season and judge who has signed the best players and spent the most money when the windows closes.

Ps I am expecting childish replies having a go at spelling mistakes or you's have no money or we are top dogs give it a rest.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

SAFC fan do agree neither team will be relegated both realistically should finish in the top 10 given the amount of support receive. . besides do miss THE DERBY GAME when not on. . miss the banter and craic when no derby.

Agree2 Disagree0

It's rubbish without the derby the build up, the game and the banter after the game there's nout like it.

Agree2 Disagree0

Love the rivalry love the banter and agree the premiership needs both sunderland and newcastle but neither sets of fans get the success they deserve if either one could have a couple of seasons challenging then we could both fill 70 t 80 thousand in a ground easy would also like to see boro hartlepool and maybe one day darlo pushing for a place in the premiership but at the moment these seems like dreams and not what we would all like reality always say it lads newcastle to finish 2nd in league as long as sunderland win it not many fans on here would want that to happen the other way round though

Agree1 Disagree0

What yous 2 smoking or are there just one of you

I have just been reading this quote supposedly recently released by Mike Ashley about the club the fans and the financial issues but it was this that shocked me.

"The fans want this process to happen more quickly and they want huge amounts spent in the transfer market so that the club can compete at the top table of European football now. I am not stupid and have listened to the fans. I have really loved taking my kids to the games, being next to them and all the fans. But I am now a dad who can't take his kids to a football game on a Saturday because I am advised that we would be assaulted. Therefore, I am no longer prepared to subsidise Newcastle United.

I am putting the club up for sale. I hope that the fans get what they want and that the next owner is someone who can lavish the amount of money on the club that the fans want."

Believable1 Unbelievable0

This quote is at least a year old mate.

TJ

Agree1 Disagree1

This is what he said ages ago when Keegan went you muppet

Agree1 Disagree1

I just read that aswell he just made it up i think

Agree1 Disagree1

This is part of the statement that Ashley released when he decided to put the club up for sale in 2009.

hello it's the nutty Alan smith stalker again (joking) am getting stick from my fellow Whites but who cares. .any gossip about flogging Smudger to us or is that dead in the water because of wages?
Thanks
p.s barton is a prat off and on the pitch but surely you want to keep him as he is a good player.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
two things mate
we said smith can leave on a free and hoping he would lower his wage demands for his hometown club or anyone. we don't need his wages on our bill
and also i don't want to jump on the wagon or anything but barton has done alot of growing up at newcastle i remember earlier in the season against wolves that little sh$t henry was tryin to get him sent off and wound up, he just kept his head down and played better. granted he should stay away from twitter tho

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Fair play mate
Yes I agree about Barton. A friend has met him in Newcastle a few times and said he's been getting deserved stick over the years but people like teetotaller Smith have been a steady influence on him. It's always easy to have a pop when you see the negative headlines.

You have got to laugh at the SMB's we've been looking at Jermain Lens for ages and now they start looking at him and suddenly we're stealing their transfer list haha.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Exactly mate. We've been tracking Jeremain Lens for some time, so any smb's saying we are stealing their targets can stop spouting rubbish.
Jeremain Lens is a very good player, would love him at the toon.

Agree2 Disagree1

And you were looking at Gardner, Larsson and Gibson, one has signed, one is coming up for talks tomorrow and should sign and the other should be confirmed aswell shortly. Unlucky SGBS

Agree1 Disagree1

The only one that we had a confirmed interest in was Larsson. That was in Jan. We ceased to be interested at that point. The other players, we have no interest in, and believe me when i say every NUFC fan will breath a sigh of relief if they all sign for you SMB's.

Agree1 Disagree0

Newcastle were looking at Larrson until January and have not talked or offered him a deal and the other two are paper talk.

Agree1 Disagree0

To be honest i don't want any of them 3 at newcastle, you can have them.
Really hope the rumours of us being interested in gibson arent true. Average player who just shoots from 30 yards out every chance he gets.

Agree2 Disagree0

The names mentioned on this site are from geordie dreamers. You will not have a marquee signing that you wish for because lets face it who wants to play for Allan Pardew?
Before you all rant and rave, think about how perlious your club was 18 months ago. Super Mike is trying to balance your club and he took on the debt personally so the banks didn't put you in admin.

why is it we always get linked to all these player rumours sissoko gibson nzogbia erdink gameiro gervino mike won't pay more than 5 mill for anyone after todays news we are getting a million miles behind the smb

A million miles behind? They've put a stupid bid in for an unproven player, who liverpool are interested in aswell, if they match the scums bid do you really think he'll choose the mackems still?

Window isn't open til Friday, stop being so impatient.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

We should be going in for him too, he'd come to us over the scum in a heartbeat. 8 mil is peanuts for a decent young player. Also we need to be buying / loan Sturridge to play along side Wickham. Ba is good, but will he get us 20 goals a season. .?

Agree0 Disagree1

13 million for an unproven 18 year old. We need proven goal scorers not a kid who might turn out to be good in 2 or 3 years time.

Agree0 Disagree0

You have not got 13m so keep dreaming you envious little things

Agree1 Disagree0

Was bale not unproven , was walcott not unproven and was adam johnson not unproven its all about getting them and evryone knows hes the best prospect in england so stop talking c- -

My mate was at the plate on sat and was speaking to S Stone, he asked who'll be wearing the No.9 this season and Stone said " a big name striker is signing very soon" but he couldn't give my mate any names Any ideas Ed? The shire milky bar kid.

{Ed010's Note -sorry my friend, no idea. Anyone else know who it could be ?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink

Agree2 Disagree1

Ha ha more like shoal amenobodi given number 9 shirt for loyalty and pure crapness

Really I hope someone who can actually score with more than his head or from the spot

Agree1 Disagree0

Emile Heskey big signing no more than you deserve to have Ze Mule up front for you.

Engelbert humperdink is a big name do any of yous mags think it might be him ha ha

ED do you know if we are interested in Nacer Chadli or Leroy Fer?
Both quality young players who id love at newcastle.

{Ed010's Note -I have not heard anything about Newcastle being linked with Chadli. Leroy Fer was a target last season but Feyenoord knocked back the Newcastle offer. Interestingly, Fer was interviewed in April by a Dutch tabloid and indicated that he was open to a move this summer, if Feyenoord were unable to secure European football, which they weren't able to do.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

But we can't give him European football if he open to leave a club fighting for the Dutch title every season to come to Newcastle he be stepping back won't he I'm a Newcastle fan but can you see the logic in that??

Agree0 Disagree1

The premier league is much more appealing than the dutch league to most players to the post above.
Ok thanks ed. Yeah i know we were supposedly after him last summer and i was hoping we may be after him this summer to partner tiote and cabaye in the middle.
I think chadli would be a good option for the wing aswell. He's young, pacey and kind of reminds me of cristiano ronaldo in his style(not saying he's as good before people jump on me haha).

Agree0 Disagree0

Actually the dutch and french league is very poor now

Agree1 Disagree0

new villa manager alex mcCLeish may have a raid of some premier league clubs including newcastle. it is reported that cheik tiote, barton and as a replace for ashley young, jonas guitierez. with the possiblilty of emile heskey and carlos cuellar going the other way.

also jose enrique to liverpool to replace flop paul koncheskey, because he looks set for a move away from anfield after only 1 season there

absolutely embarrassing this could not eb more wrong, they are now reporting liverpool ahve given up on enrique, tiote isn't going anywhere, barton has said he will play this season and why would be take heskey we are getting rid of our older players why would we a take a old has been others never been good, go on your own website you smelly mackam absolutely disgusting nonsense

Believable1 Unbelievable1

If we get linked to players who are over 30 and high earners, chances are its bulls**t cos not club policy to sign players of this age. . i also think/hope nufc being interested in gibson is bulls**t man u trying to drive up the price.

Agree1 Disagree0

28 Jun 2011 14:39:35
I know we have previously been linked with Georginio Wijnaldum. Does anyone else think he would be perfect for us? He fits the profile of players we are after: young (20), cheap, lots of potential.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSeI3pMUkao

He has attracted scouts from AC Milan and Real Madrid amongst others to his matches, and due to Feyenoord's financial plight would be available for around ?Ç£5 million. He scored 13 goals in the Eredivisie this year, and has not gone unnoticed by the Dutch national team.

Haven't heard anything for a few weeks but is worth a punt at that price. Anyone else agree?

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Totally agree mate. Ive been saying for awhile we should sign this lad beacuse he is a top top young player. We should get in before any of the big boys do.

Agree1 Disagree0

More like ?Ç£10 million.

Agree1 Disagree0

Class on footy manager and champ manager, just like sissoko

Agree1 Disagree1

And where do u think your gonna get 5m from?

Agree1 Disagree0

A C milan and real madrid are interested in him and hes going to come to yous will yous get real how many more players are yous going to link yourselves with get real , at least our targets are believable

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2011 12:15:12
if we buy gibson, it will be the wrost mistake ever, all he does is shot from 30yards and hopes for the best, he thinks he is the great paul scholes. i would like us to hang onto lualua he is still young and is a talent. ed, do you have any transfer news today? i would like stephen ireland back, what do u guys think?

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Lua Lua is not good enough for the premier league. As for Ireland, all he is good for is keeping the physio room warm. Havent seen much of Gibson. But Manu are no mugs, they never get rid of descent players.

Agree4 Disagree0

Lua lua seemed to cope fine against Chelsea. he should be given a shot. See what he can do in pre-season then sell on if he won't fit in.

Agree3 Disagree1

Young ameobi came on in that game against chelsea too and both him and young lua lua should be held on to. both look like they got bags of pace which any defence hates and loads of potential. just what we need at the minute

SPEND SOME MNONEY BIG FAT MIK 35MIL AND WE ONLY SPENT 4.3 MIL SO SPEND. DAVID PHAROAH

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Theres 2 months left for him to do that, calm down

Agree6 Disagree0

This is obviously a scumberland fan he can't even spell money or mike. they should really set up some schools there. .

Agree2 Disagree1

We could go out an spend 15million on Whickham, 6 million on Gibson, $ million on Wes Brown, and 5 million on Carlton Cole.
OR, we could wait and secure our top targets for the smallest fees possible, leaving back up funding for the future. I for one hope we don't get sucked into paying way over the odds for average players. . like the tramps down the road are doing.

Col

Agree3 Disagree4

I agree that MIKE should spend some money DP and doubt he is a sunderland fan (worst team ever)

Agree0 Disagree0

The origenal post from david was actully from nathen o (a scumberland fan) i wish other people would not use other peoples name. .

Agree0 Disagree0

Truth is i can't see us spending anywhere near 13mill on one player like sunderland we are bein let down by the fat controller and his puppet we slag them off for goin for under-rated players then we go for the same players we are embarrassing ourselves while fat mike re-coups his money before selling us down the road

Agree2 Disagree2

Mate, the window isn't open yet, hardly any teams have made major moves yet and most players are still on holiday. After 1st July expect alot of movement and a few big money deals.

Agree1 Disagree0

Don't think we've been let down by the fat controller, july the 1st the transfer window opens, stop been too impatient wait till the season starts to see who we get in then slag him off , can't grumble with ben arfa , maverix , ba , cabaye, big ash is bringing in flair speed and skill to our midfield while he gets rid of one paced Nolan and Barton , i believe he will spend the money on strikers hes got 5 weeks to do it . i hope so anyway lol

Agree3 Disagree1

You just jealous because you know that you can't afford to buy these players. I bet if Gibson, Gardner or whoever come to screwcastle you will be like best signings ever but if they came to sunderland then they are crap. your best players will be sold, you will bring in unproven players who will struggle in the 1st season in the premier league and you will get relegated and Agent Ashley will be laughing all the way to the bank or should I say Greggs and the Casino SGBS

Agree0 Disagree0

He won't be if we go down numpty. And apart from Gyan all your best players were on loan and have gone back to their clubs. Gardner is a decent player but is he better than who we have? Err NO

Agree0 Disagree1

Gardner is good, Gibson is s**t no matter who they play for. Also you say players take a year to adapt not all players do and tell me this if Newcastle get relegated how is Ashley going to be laughing all the way too the bank when he will be forced out of the club and will end up selling the club for a lot less than what he could get now.
So tell me this saying your such a smart arse why would a buissness man like Ashley make a loss?

Agree0 Disagree0

We will see next season, where is your money for these big players you supposed to be getting? Dreamers, bet your getting annoyed we seem to have good money to spend even though some of your fans have said sunderland are skint or wish we were HA what a joke you are SGBS

Agree0 Disagree0

Because fatty is a gambler picked the wrong un here though

Agree1 Disagree0

To all SMB's that seem to think that spendings millions on players like Gardner, and Gibson, Dong, Wickham, Brown, O'Shea is exciting, and good business. Do you think it will be good business once you have been relegated and have to try and sell these average players for a loss.
I'd rather stick with what we've got than sign this dross (apart from Wickham but not for 8million plus).

Col

Agree0 Disagree0

Did birmingham not just get relegated and they don't seem to be havin a problem selling these so called crap players larsson ( free but worth 6mill at least ) gardner 5/6mill , johnson etc

Agree0 Disagree0

is anyone else actully glad we did not get n.taylor?

glad he is staying at swansea (belivable)
disapointed he is staying (unbelivable)

Believable3 Unbelievable6

I wouldn't mind him, he's valued at around £6m if it wasnt for that release clause.

He would only ever be backup to either enrique or someone else if he leaves.

We should still be getting Taylor like as we will probably take Swansea to court.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Jun 2011 01:05:55
sunderland hav had a 9mill bid rising to 13mill accepted by ipswich not saying we will get him but maybe this might shut some of yous mags up who say we have got no money to spend that's just the start at least this is one transfer rumour yous can't jump on cos yous can't afford it

Believable1 Unbelievable2

Take it you are on about wickham? You can ave him and as far as we can't afford it goes jog on numbnuts . not alot happening in your page, , , thought you would post on here, , , , bless always living in the shadows never mind.

Agree3 Disagree1

Actually uv agreed terms if u read sky sports Liverpool n spurs are now expected to match that bid. . Let's see a small town club like 5under1and or go to Liverpool or spurs I'm sure thatl be a tough decision for him.

Agree3 Disagree0

Signing a championship level striker for a lot of money. . . that reminds me of someone. . . . oh yeah, Chopra
Whilst i think he will turn into a very good player, if he goes to the SMB then his career will go backwards.

Col

Agree2 Disagree0

Yeah it reminds me of adam johson there are good players in championship if you are willing to pay for them which yous obviously are not stick to free froggies and let sunderland get on with their own business

Agree0 Disagree1

U talking as if uve signed him lol

Agree3 Disagree1

He wants to go to Liverpool or Arsenal so if they match the offer you can kiss him goodbye. Ill be honest 13 million for a young unproven striker is daft especially for a team of Sunderlands size.

Agree2 Disagree0

Even though he is one of the hottest young prospects outside the premiership, a certain Bale and Walcott spring to mind aswell as Johnson as the lad before said. they there but clubs must take the risk on spending money on them. Screwcastle can't afford to spend big as ashley won't let you buy anyone over 10m and I think you lot are getting jealous that we have money to spend and can't hack it SGBS

Agree1 Disagree0

Sunderland can't have that much money to spend they don't have any supporters. Quinn has to go round the pubs in Sunderland begging ppl to come and watch

Agree0 Disagree0

Not talking as if we signed johnson merely pointing out that there are good players in the championship if you;ve got the money as the other lad pointed out bale , walcott and johnson were all bought as championship players and look at them now bet they are worth 3 to 4 times as much as they were bought for but as usual because you mags are thick yous reply with sarcasm

Agree0 Disagree0

Wickham having medical at Sunderland tomorrow and Gardner having talks 2mora, just been on SSN. ha

Agree1 Disagree0

Eeh they are really turning green with envy now

Agree1 Disagree0
