Fantastic win today we are getting wins without playing well,signs of a good team and with villa everton spurs arsenal ets struggling we could get top5/6,one problem though the empty seats today ten thousand of them on the back of a derby win,we are hypocrites laughing at sunderland but they don't have that many I recall they had 48 thousand last home match and there next home match chelsea is nearly sold out.granted there last match was us and I will judge them when they play fulham etc.

I agree about attendances,I also think it is pathetic when newcastle fans try and belittle sunderlands attendances it makes me cringe,gone are the days anyone can afford a ticket and both clubs fans have to pick and choose matches.42 thousand is still good alot of Prem teams would love that.both nufc and safc have great fans and are looked at with envy.

I was at the game and the small patches that could be seen in the ground of empty seats was ridiculous.
All the "fans" that have decided to stay away in protest at MA will be back if we carry on doing well and then claim to be true 100% fans thru thick and thin which is stupidity and shallowness.
Never thought we would get glory supporters after our recent history but looks like it
The seat 2 away from me has been occupied by the same guy for las 4 year and he hasnt been seen this season so when he gets back i think we will torture him for being a prawn sarnie supporter

Supposedly people were having trouble getting tickets i heard when people were ringing up to order tickets they're were being told there was no seats together just single seats.

Bollocks there was loads of empty seats together even rows of about ten,at the end of the day its fulham and we are picking and choosing matches.I bought four together about twenty minutes before kickoff for relatives down south,southend united fans.My brother and he's wife went and they are mackems because there was nothing on at the cinema.

Wasnt many seats available cos some season ticket holders who have seats reserved didnt turn up which means the seat wasnt freed up for sale

I know how you guys love to quote goals to games as a measure of how good a player is.
I've heard we can have a striker who has scored 8 goals in 13 matches and he can play for us even after the transfer window closes.
That player is Leon Best ,not a bad strike rate

I like what ive seen from him People seem to hate him for some reason but hes proving good

Him and demba ba are best strikers we hav atm. shola okay as back up and loverboy is useless

Best is worth keeping just cos he has a really good scoring record against london clubs

Best started to come good last season when he got injured and was out for near enough rest of the season. He deserves a chance and AP will give him it too. He said in todays papers he had known him for years and is a good player who benefits from runs in the side which he will get this year

After another win today pardew feels that another striker is needed he is going to put his faith in leon best shola, obertan and lovenkrands.

Thats bad news for most fans but pardew said after the game that he had faith in best and he feels happy with him.

Yes he scores but hes just not good enough

Ali cissokho or erik pieters will sign before the end of the window maybe even both hopefully. Santon was looked at on loan but that seems unlikely.

Pieters in PSV squad and Maigo is playing for souchx as i type, we are getting NO-ONE in are we?? If either deal was close they would not be risked in their club games today, another load of lies from the Puppet

Thought Pieters was playing his farewell game and the striker was playing on the condition his club would talk to us? Maybe wrong but just what I've heard.

does,nt krull look like he,s going to be one of best keepers in premiership i mean sunderland paid 9 million for gorden(over priced totally) and united paid a fortune for there new keeper..and cabaye is getting better as is obertan think they settled in to the pace ed042 what you think mate

{Ed042's Note - Really impressive again, two or three top notch saves again today.. a lot of good performances today especially 2nd half, Cabaye and Obertan very impressive as well as Krul, between the 3 for motm imo}

Gordon is a top keeper if he stays fit, but his problem is injured all the time

Could tie shays boots gorden over priced but you all ready know that cos every thing keano done was over priced 85 million on nowt.

Is that why when he was fit mignolet played instead of him

I see Ashley has sunk millions of dollars into the No Fear brand which he got on the cheap as they were struggling yet he quibbles over 6million for a Dutch international ,unbelievable .

Sports direct is his business nufc is his play thing

He made 800 million from sports direct he wont make any thing from nufc..simples

Your comment makes no sense as most people love their playthings and would not want to see them hurt or damaged .This applies to all playthings ,animal ,human, prize motor or football club.

I think ashley originally bought it thinking it was a quick way to make a couple hundred million but never new about the loan with barclays that become repayable as soon as the club became sold thats what is known as due diligance...but one thing for sure he knows how to make money simple as that and honestly think the man knows what he,s doing even if we agree or not..

Love him or hate him the clubs on a financial footing now that most other clubs can dream of..we have no debt no loans at all and we are making money. 99% of people would rather make more money than they spend simples so ashley is no different the only thing is he,s far more gifted than most people on here as he,s a self made billionaire and there aint a lot of them about so love him or hate him the clubs financially strong with no money worries...ed042 do you agree?

{Ed042's Note - I will let you know come Thursday morning ha look love him or hate him, and I think most hate him, financially you cant complain tbh, done a hell of a lot for the club, think the team has been improved, youth system is now producing quality young talent, squad has depth for the first time in god knows how long, even agree with most if not all the sales/players gone, but all that good work hinges on getting two players over the next 3 days, LB and ST, have had faith they will come in and still do but if they dont fan backlash will be a big one, regardless of the great start we`ve had and all the other good that has been done, next few days are make or break for Big Mike and DL, if they dont deliver the fans will turn on them for good this time imo}

Of course we have debt - just that it's not to the banks now but to Ashley himself.
It still has to be paid even if Ashley walks away.

In fact I heard we now have more debt than when Freddie turned the club over.

We do have an interest free loan owed to Ashley, which is much better than owing it to a bank, large chunk of what was killing us was the interest combined with penalties of millions for Freddie not paying the loans for nearly 3 years. As for the rumour that we have more debt now than when Shepherd left, its complete BS mate dont believe it}

sorry guys but gotta put this on .my prediction for today is .the will be no news on signings.the reason because we are playing fulham.same lame excuse all the time ill be shocked if theres any news on any players signing today .unless someone can prove me wrong...anyway lets hope for a win today hwtl...geordie tom ...ED you any thing new to tell us m8 ?
