Ben arfa got 6 days to loose half a stone looking at him, gloves and tights and play like a real man, Colo needs to come back in, Taylor out, perch out tioti out, bring in sissoko with anita infront of back 4, anita cabaye further forward, arfa on right, goofy on left,

"I'm not going to criticise my players. I'm not going to criticise my team in any shape or form on a individual basis, it was a collective effort and we fell down collectively. "

Yep pardew blames himself

Believable0 Unbelievable0

What you on about!

Its my team too, but I will openly say they are absolutely terrible! Everyone of them does not have a clue, the heart, the stamina, skill, and footballing ability this season.

Not one of them has shown up in the last 5/6/7 weeks. If we have won a game of late it has been through pure luck or fluke!

We DO NOT know how to finish!
We DO NOT know how to get that final ball in
We CAN NOT defend to save our lives

These players need to remember who they are playing for, and actually put some effort in on the pitch and stop letting teams just ease past them for the crack!

Poor players, poor manager, poor form, poor board, poor signings

TERRIBLE SEASON!

Agree0 Disagree0

Players are being played out of position and have been all season. Cabaye is an attacking MF player no a defensive MF - Sissoko is a DM and not an attacking MF.

IMO we need to swap to a 442 and get 2 strikers in the box. Every time we go out wide Cisse is the only player in the box FACT.

4 4 2 go out wide try and get a cross in 2 stikers in the box with MF player ie Cabaye also in the mix. sounds simple becasue it is

Agree0 Disagree0

So. bring back Carroll then? There's not a lot better at getting on the end of a cross

Agree0 Disagree0

Gonna put the crosses in jonas /sissoko, I don't think so. our problem is we have no width, pardew won't play ben arfa because he's fallen out with him, the only way I can see us getting a win is if pardew bites the bullet and picks ben arfa on the wing. del

top 5 managers I would like to replace pardew with:
1: Blanc
2: Di Matteo
3: Martinez
4: Steve Clarke
5: Poyet
God please ashley just sack pardew now and give us some new excitement and motivation with any of these 5 managers and we'll be happy.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

O'neill?
Sparky?

Agree0 Disagree0

You must be joking, look at the money they both spent at Sunderland and QPR, and made a complete mess of em both, poor choices.

Agree0 Disagree0

Poyet would be my choice out of that bunch.

Maybe Blanc.

No to the rest.

Agree0 Disagree0

If we were lucky enough to get rid of Pardew then judging from Ashley's managerial appointments we'll replace him with Steve Kean or someone just as poor, we're screwed either way.

Agree0 Disagree0

We are getting Rafa. Pardew is getting the sack and Rafa takes over in the summer.

if tim krull had not got injured it would be a different story now. elliot is sh*te

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Rubbish that loss yesterday was coming before a ball was kicked. The team formation and personel took care of that not the keeper.

Agree0 Disagree0

So he would have scored us a hatful of goals, sorry mate that excuse is poor your not alan pardew by any chance

Agree0 Disagree0

Elliot. No mate BLAME the other 10 players that are in front of him who do not have a clue. Elliot was left to battle for himself on Saturday, I actually feel sorry for the lad.

Cant blame him for not saving shots that defenders should have cut the pass out long before!

Taylor and M'biwa on Saturday where shocking to say the least!

Agree0 Disagree0

The issue was that our pace filled DM ie Sissoko, instead of being played in the middle where he plays best and has the pace to cut out passes he was playing in attack.

we had 3 defensive MF players on the pitch none of them were playing in the defensive MF position.

What do people think about Guthrie leaving last year?

I know he's now playing in a Reading team about to be relegated but last year he impressed a lot of fans.

Especially with Cabaye's injury and Tiote being rubbish this year, we could of done with him.

He is certainly better than Anita who cost us £8 million!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

The problem with Guthrie is that he could only play in midfield, as you know, we only buy players that can play in every position.

If a player cannot play RB, LB, CB & Wing, then they are not good value for money.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wouldn't life be great for us Geordies if r club could do us all a favour and play the football what us fans crave not the sh** what they r dishing out but as the song goes we're Geordies we're mental we're off our f***ing heads Ashley has took this information and got pardew to work his wonder but this season will go down to the wire let's all hope we r a prem club next year and can kick on up the league

Agree0 Disagree0

Anita is good, just low on confidence because perch is infront of him in the pecking order

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't know any CB that can play on the wing

Agree0 Disagree0

Guthrie has struggled to make the Reading team

Agree0 Disagree0

Guthrie has been kept out due to Readings manager not giving him the chances

I have been on here many time this season as said the same thing, we have no style of play!. Forget formations, forget injuries, forget Europa league as none of these are the main cause of our problems this season. Last season we played a way which worked, press the ball high up the pitch, hold a high line and quick counter attacks passing mostly into feet. This season it seems that we have played the opposite, sit back, try not to concede, hoof the ball long. For me the buck starts and stops with Pardew, he has no idea how to set up a team sticking to a style of play. You don't see top teams change the way they play and they certainly don't throw the way they play out the window just because someone gets injured. For example, when Man U lost Ferdinand and Vidic to injury, they had lesser players covering for them but they didn't change the way they play. Barcelona lost Messi for a bit this year, didn't mean they started to boot the ball long!
The last time Newcastle had a consistent style of play was under Bobby Robson.
Pardew for me doesn't know his best team, his best formation and how to establish a style of play in order to win games. Also I would have to add the coaching staff are not helping as we still haven't scored from a corner this season!
I hope that we stay up, then Pardew is shown the door. Personally I think its too little too late as I can't see us getting 3 points from any of our last games. If we do stay up it won't be our own doing, it will be relying of other teams

Believable0 Unbelievable0

This is true we play hoofball this season and we have been found wanting

Agree0 Disagree0

We need at least 1 point from our last 3 to be ahead of Wigan and therefore avoid the drop.

Wigan are 5 behind us and need to play Arsenal as do we and they also have to play Manc, WBA and Swansea which are all tough games.

I cannot see them beating Arsenal or Manc, but the other 2 could go either way.

This is the worst situation to be in as we need to rely on Sunderland to beat Villa to keep them in the mire. Howver both teams need to win to ensure they do not go down therefore a likely outcome is a draw.

If we can get 2 points or more we should be safe. I have faith in the lads although it is shakey as hell at the moment.

Just watching goals on Sunday. Man city play absolutely mouth watering football, something we can only dream of with pardew in charge. People say we are fickle fans for wanting pardew out because of last season, so does that mean pardew could relegate us to the championship, and still be in charge just because he got us to fifth? NO, you don't live on the past you need to live on the present and future, otherwise you just go backwards, and that's what we're doing. Look at our team on paper, top 8 quality, yet its now got a record for conceding the most amount of goals, which is utterly disgusting for a club like this.

What we need, is new excitement, passion and confidence. We need a new start, a massive clearout including pardew and some of the other coaching staff. To lose to sunderland who's team on paper is no where near as good as ours to beat us 3-0 on home turf, to lose 6-0 to the worst Liverpool team this generation is disgraceful, unacceptable and unforgiving.

I personally think we need to sack pardew now, and whoever the new manager is will give us more confidence, motivation and a bit more passion from the players. People think we should go for Di matteo or martinez, but my mind has gone Blanc. He's someone who can make a connection with this club because of our french tradition. He's someone who csn get the best out of every single player. Bring an attacking philosophy. Other options are moyes or Steve Clarke both play good attacking football.

Geordie Moses

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Your mind has gone Blanc Geordie, is that what you are saying?

Agree0 Disagree0

Our attacking football has no methodology at all.

You have sissoko going on one man crusades, nothing from the wings, Cayabe firing anything he can going route 1 and Cisse chasing shadows.

I mean what is going on.

Shapeless.

Agree0 Disagree0

Benitez would be good if we couldn't get blanc

The only thing that will stop us going down is the teams below us being just too far behind points wise, otherwise we would be gone as there is no guts, no effort and no clue, sorry mr pardew time to jog on.

well i'm not gloating because as a sunderland fan we are not safe yet but I said some of you fans were over confident even before we beat you some of you lot were talking about getting a top ten finish. well now you are looking over your shoulder and after the West Ham United game could be relying on other teams results I am sure Nolan and Carrol will be up for next weeks game. I honestly can't see Newcastle getting another win after yesterday their confidence will be rock bottom and I don't think pardew is the man to lift them there is to many young players in the team who have no understanding of the passion of the premier league and the big players are not performing taylor looks well over weight tiote been abysmal debuchy over rated cisse lacking assistance with goufran out of position sissoko gone into hiding after first couple of games mbiwa and hadaira not good enough cabaye being the only positive and poor ben arfa class player but obviously carrying an injury pardew could ruin him also on about bringing collo back never heard of anyone coming back so soon after a supposed serious injury he has had think if the truth came out he went back to argentina to save his marriage. so its all ifs and buts till the end of the season but hopefully (I am one of those fans who like the north east derbies) we can both survive starting by doing ourselves and Newcastle a favour and getting something at villa on Monday.

Sack Pardew bring Poyet, Martienz or Di Matteo at the end of the season, if Brighton do not get promoted and Wigan get relegated we could have any of three, and people will say Wigan got relegated so we appoint a manager that relegated a club. No he makes players like Boyce, Di Santo and Figuero look good. And they are some of Wigan's best player and we have more quality ie Cabaye
He will do the same with Shola, Perch and many more. And plays good football, he can get a good spanish and carbieen player or two as well

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Totally agree. He is tactically inept. The game was lost when he named the side. 2 defensive midfield players and Jonas in the starting 11. What are our tactics. Would love to see what they do all week in training.

Agree0 Disagree0

I left at the 6th goal it was the worst display from a Newcastle side I have ever seen. No passion, no commitment, no movement, no tactics and a manager who hasn't got the first clue. 11 cowards for me. I don't want to read anything about us been all together in the press this week as we clearly are not. Pardew has lost that dressing room.

Agree0 Disagree0

It'll take a miracle not a new manager to make Shola look good.

Agree0 Disagree0

Thank god, someone with realistic manager targets
1st di matteo
2nd martinnez
3rd poyet

Why is Blanc an unrealistic target?

Laudrup at Swansea would have been unrealistic 3 years ago, look at them now.

what is ir about offside that we don't understand, cisse forever offside and our defence run back and play opposition onside. First goal yesterday had Taylor strolling out of defence which left Agger on side, if he had ran out clear offside, later Taylor is doing some kind of backward dance instead of moving forward another goal

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Had to much for his breakfast reckon he was round brambles for it

IF I WAS NUFC OWNER.

Sack pardew at end of the season. If we stay up, I would look at appointing someone with real managerial class

Marcello Lippi
This Italian manager led an unfancied Italian side to victory in the 2006 World Cup. He was also responsible for the domination of Italian football by Juventus in the late 90's. His management style focuses on team strength and unity rather than individual talent and ego. He won 5 league titles, 1 domestic cup, and the 1996 Champions League with Juventus.

Otto Rehhagel
Known for his well-drilled defenses and stern approach to management, Otto Rehhagel has accomplished some of the most incredible surprises in football history. In 2004 he guided Greece to victory in the European Championships. During his time in the German Bundesliga, he transformed Werder Bremen into one of the biggest German clubs, and led them to 2 league titles, 2 domestic cups, and the 1992 Cup Winners Cup. Another remarkable success came at Kaiserslauten where he achieved promotion to the Bundesliga before winning the title in the club's first season in the top flight.

Louis Van Gaal
Known for his attacking brand of football, Van Gaal is also a strict disciplinarian. Described as proud and arrogant, his fusion of artistry and authority have brought him astounding success as a manager. With Ajax he won the 1995 Champions League, the 1992 UEFA Cup, 3 league titles and 1 domestic cup. At Barcelona and Bayern Munich he added 3 more league titles and 1 domestic cup. Incredibly, he also guided AZ to the Dutch league title in 2009.

Ottmar Hitzfeld
As the greatest manager Germany has produced, Ottmar Hitzfeld is a masterful tactician who studies and renews his methods to stay at the very top of the game. After winning 2 league titles and 3 domestic cups with Swiss clubs, he guided Borussia Dortmund to Champions League glory in 1997 and won 2 Bundesliga titles. He then arrived at Bayern Munich, winning the 2001 Champions League, 5 league titles and 3 domestic Cups. He now manages Switzerland and was responsible for their 1-0 victory over Spain in the 2010 World Cup.

Obviously that would be what I do but Ashley will want another puppet.

Thoughts?

Don't even think we could tempt Di Matteo never mind the managers you've listed.

Im all for sacking Pardew 100% he's lost the players and fans which says to me there is no way back for him now. Thing is, when to do it? And who do you think Mike Ashley will get to replace him? It won't be any International manager like blanc or di matteo. Look at Ashleys past appointments, Joe Kinnear, Pardew, Shearer, Hughton (although good we need sum1 better).

We will get another manager that will be a puppet and will deflect all attention away from the board.

Geordie Al

Believable0 Unbelievable0

We won't get a new manager so it doesn't matter, we are stuck with Pardew for years.
